Margaret's German Restaurant

What a great find! If you love and appreciate going to local restaurants that have a passion for carrying on family traditions and the love of their passed down cooking traditions then you definitely want to check out Margaret's. I know I'll be back when I'm back in Tulsa.

Ok authentic looking German there were two of us. We were truckers that parked our trucks at a local truck stop and ubered over. I love German Chocolate cake, this was the best I've ever had! The schnitzel was top notch I was hungry I ate two with spatial, and two liter stines of authentic German beer. My friend that I was dining with was German he loved it all too.

Outstanding!!! Authentic German cuisine and they treated us like family. Went on Saturday night for our anniversary....the weiner schnitzel, sauerbraten and sides were all winners. The German pretzel was rightious and the gullashsuppe to die for! The accordion player was the icing on the cake. Don't think twice about visiting Margaret's.

Seriously everything here is off the chart amazing! I am very sad I didn't eat all of my German chocolate cake because it was glorious.
Cabbage rolls here are phenomenal 😍 owner was super cool and cooks some Amazing food!

Delicious food! Our group of six tried many different items on the menu and all were very tasty. Their Wiener schnitzel is a must get! Delicious red cabbage, spaetzle and goulash were all really great!

Margaret's is the best! They have the best food in town. My husband and I have gone many many times with and without the kids, everyone loves Margaret's food! We went again last night to celebrate our Anniversary and again we were not disappointed. We had the potato pancakes, the Margaret's special for two, and a cherry strudel. Everything was amazing! The sauerkraut soup was delicious, it was my first time having that and I loved it! The service is always excellent! Especially last night, the lady that waited on us was just as amazing as the food! She was very attentive and friendly. She did a great job! I can't wait to go back to Margaret's again!

Today was mine and my son’s first time here. My son is also part German and tried German food for the first time so it was special to us. We got top notch service as soon as we walked in the door! We were here on 10/17/23 around 3:45 ish pm. To our beautiful and sweet waitress, I didn’t get your name but you made this experience so pleasant. Even when you saw I didn’t eat all of my food, you told me to be honest if there was something wrong so you can make it right and that was so sweet. Our food was amazing and for my extremely picky, texture sensitive son to eat it says a lot! We will definitely be back as much as we can. We can’t wait to try the Black Forest cake.

We had dinner there tonight and it was super tasty! This is also the first time we’ve dined INSIDE a restaurant since COVID19 shut everyone down so it was a very special treat all the way around.

We walked in and had plenty of choices to sit and the restaurant is well spaced out to allow social distance while you enjoyed your meal. Our server was wearing the right PPE including throwaway gloves to prevent cross-contamination so we felt totally safe.

We had a pretzel to start, goulash and then I had Weiner Schnitzel and my wife had the sausage plate. We finished it out with German chocolate cake and apple strudel. Everything was fresh, tasty and well presented. Our server was great and everyone in the restaurant was super friendly. Great job!!!

Great service and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the Special tor Two. Great weiner schnitzel and lentil soup. Our server was lovely. We forgot our to go box and she ran it out to us. It was slightly pricey but not bad. All-around great experience. We look forward to coming back.

I've been living in Tulsa for 25 plus years and NEVER knew about this place! This is one of the best restaurants and secrets in Tulsa. The food is amazing! Great authentic German soups for starters while you think about what entre you want. I ended up getting a roast chicken with spaetzle and homemade bread and butter 😋😋😋 Ended the evening with Black Forest Chocolate Cake!!! On top of all that,... the service was amazing and the ambiance was great. The live music was a awesome bonus. If you dont do yourself a favor and go Margaret's,... you're not appreciating the fine eating that Tulsa has to offer.

Best German food I’ve had, Margaret is the best. She is very passionate about the food she and her staff prepare and is always concerned with how the customer feels. My husband and I come here consistently knowing our meal and beer will be awesome. The chicken schnitzel platter with a liter of Paulaner Oktoberfest is delicious! My husband loves the potato pancake Reuben, everything on the menu is worth a taste!

Best German food I’ve ever had! The people that left bad reviews are miserable people. We all know them and we avoid them. You'll love this place. Tulsa is fortunate the new owner bought the place and has kept everything the same. Support local eateries!

Everything about this place was amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere, the entertainment. I can't wait to go back many times and try everything on the menu!

Great food. If you come during lunch you can tell they love their lunch regulars. We got a dinner plate and a combo of sausages plate with goulash, hot potato salad, and sauerkraut. I look forward to coming back to try more of their menu.

First time at this establishment and I was so thrilled. Great service and very cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Huehnerbrust with cabbage and cold potato salad. It was so delicious and the potato salad was one of the best I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to return and try more.

Margaret's is an absolute jem of a restaurant! Have never had a bad experience there. Recommended to lots of friends and they've all been back. Crave level good food and staff is always friendly and helpful for those not familiar with menu. Don't forget to get a piece of Black Forest cake to go for desert. Balaclava goes great with next morning coffee too! Kid's love the spatzel n cheese, so do grown ups!

Authentic and delicious. When you walk through the door it's like stepping into southern Germany. They have a small store incorporated into the restaurant so you can take home a piece of Germany for your pantry.

Better German cuisine than in Germany. Great value as well, entrées are big and come with plenty of sides. Soft pretzel was fantastic, Jäger Schnitzel was much needed. If I lived in Tulsa I’d be here weekly.

Food is really good. The soup of the day was so good I came back the following day for more lol

This is a very unique restaurant and the service was great. I had the Reuben on potatoe pancakes and my friend had the schnitzel which were both great. I very much intend to come back and try their beer selection and desserts. Small and intimate setting.
