I recently dined at Calhoun corners and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The Calhoun filet I ordered was cooked to absolute perfection, each bite bursting with savory flavor. And to top it off, the wine selection was truly impressive, offering a perfect pairing for every palate. Our server, Chris, was very attentive and gave us an amazing first experience here. She knew the menu and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend Calhoun Corner for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience with impeccable food and a great atmosphere.

One of the best family owned restaurants around. The staff, the food, the experience is amazing!!! Be sure to check this place out when in Clemson. You won't be disappointed. The owner George is an amazing human being that takes pride in his restaurants and food to another level.

Wow, what a beautiful old building with amazing & delicious food. Our waitress, Logan, couldn’t have been kinder. Answered all of our questions & explained each special. She even chatted with my daughter about a wine they shared interest in & told her where she could buy it. If all wait staff could be this kind. Beautiful inside & out. Would definitely visit again if in the area!!

Very nice hidden gem in Clemson. Great food and good service. The only complaint would be the sound. It's a little too loud. They need some sound absorbing panels

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party here and it was absolutely phenomenal!! We got a limited menu for the rehearsal dinner and appetizers for the welcome party. Everything from drinks, dinner, dessert, and appetizers were all delicious. I wish I could remember our servers names because they were great! We cannot recommend Calhoun Corners enough!

Was travelling South for the Summer and stopped at Clemson for a Visit. Found Calhoun's and was not disappointed!! The Service was AMAZING and the food was even better. Already Scheduling another trip next summer this was so good!

I can't recommend this place enough. I didn't even have to cut my filet mignon that was in my wellington with a knife it was that tender. My husband had duck and couldn't stop talking about how good it was! The cocktails are amazing. I got the apple Carmel martini and dessert was great!! Next time I'm in Clemson, we are DEFINITELY going back!

Food was excellent. Got the filet mignon. Tried the prime rib and it was fantastic. Mashed potatoes are the best I have ever had

Fantastic! They did a wonderful job on my wedding dinner. I didn’t want a traditional wedding reception because I am in my 60s and having it in their upstairs dining area was so elegant! Couldn’t have been happier

This is a top of the line restaurant anywhere in the US, not just Clemson, SC. Waitstaff professional and pleasant wearing white shirt & bow tie. Beautiful, comfortable, clean dining room. Excellent wine selection. Is it expensive? - yes, but not outrageous, the value is clearly there! Classic, impressive menu with variety. The plate presentations were simple, but the food was SPECTACULAR!! In my 15 years’ culinary career, culinary school graduate, the most magnificent food I can remember.

First time visiting Calhoun’s, and this is an experience I will never forget. Absolutely memorable meal! The whole history of the location is astounding! The original brick and the refurbished areas from after the fire... amazing to see. They also have large party rooms and an entire bedroom suite that can be rented as well. Service was beyond excellent as well! Only thing I could recommend to managers or the owner is that for such a nice place they could tighten up on their servers uniforms, they were a little slack with shirts not properly tucked and stained white button up shirts. But otherwise a beyond amazing experience

Great experience! This is a classic type of restaurant that has a very good atmosphere, excellent service (Alyse was very attentive and helpful yet not obtrusive) and the food was scrumptious! This was our first time and we are used to upscale dining literally worldwide and Calhoun Corners definitely falls in the upper 10%. A decent wine list with reasonable prices, a large menu, and delicious quality food made for a great dining experience. Some of the negative reviews are baffling as our experience was the total opposite giving us pause about the plausibility of some of the reviewers. We dined on the 3 special dishes for the evening starting with a watermelon salad that was not only tasty but light so as to not overeat prior to the main courses. Those were the evenings broiled salmon dusted with crushed pecans and a succotash that was much better than most. And a pan seared filet with madeira sauce and crispy fried potatoes and shallots. Again, yum! Freshly baked bread (a real rarity these days) and a nice Chianti Riserva finished off a very tasty dinner with no room for dessert (maybe next time. We will absolutely be returning!

Great for gluten free! Have a dedicated gluten free menu that outlines your options and what the substitutions are to make a menu item gluten free.

For folks who can eat gluten (lucky ducks) the food looks amazing and my partner tells me the bread is amazing.

Good food overall and great for special occasions snd visitors.

A great place to meet up with friends, or for a great date night with amazing steaks and pleasant atmosphere.

Went Saturday night for our company Christmas party! Our server was Kelly I believe, she was absolutely amazing, best waitress I've had in years.. I ordered the Jambalaya with the shrimp, chicken and sausage which was delicious!! Had a Few Dark and Stormy's which were delicious... Will definitely be dining again soon!

Celebrated family Thanksgiving Eve here. Really enjoyed every part of our dinner.

The food was delicious, the location beautiful and historic. They seemed pretty overwhelmed with thefood and drinks all too a long long time to get to us. The service was good other than it all taking a long time to make it to us. Overall the food and drinks were good! I had the shrimp and grits and they were super rich and tasty. All of the desserts were divine.

Always - without fail a FABULOUSLY delicious meal and excellent service with the most enjoyable ambiance! Our table enjoyed Beef Wellington, crab cakes, duck, filet mignon, she crab soup, and Jambalaya! Such a terrific variety and all delicious! Great bar too! This is a FAVE!!

Had dinner for the first time with a coworker that lives here. He has been going here for years and now I am hooked. Service was incredible. I had the Dark and Stormy drink and loved the mix of rum and ginger as well as their Old Fashioned. The tuna sashimi and escargot apps were wonderful. And for my main course I had the special which was steak with cheese and onions on top. It was supposed to be Prime Rib but they instead used a Rib Eye cut at my request. It was amazing! And the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake was to die for.

To say I am hooked is an understatement. I will definitely come here again the next time I am in Clemson!!
