Very nice theater with awesome surround, comfortable seating and a huge selection of concessions! They have different types of popcorn including Oreo!

This is my favorite theater so far in the upstate. Would definitely recommend them over Regal.

I'm from California and almost all the theaters are reclining seats. But this is by far the most comfortable seats. I've ever sat in .well worth the 40 minute. Drive and this is the only movie theater i'm coming to from now on. Just wish they had salt. Super clean a the sound and screen is top notch

I have not went to a movie theater in many years because seats were so uncomfortable I had to get up several times. I finally tried AmStar in Anderson. Omgggg!!! Entire new experience. The seat were so comfortable. Reclining, heated, over sized heated seats and a set up n the stadium seating that no one feel crowded and u don’t have to worry about someone’s head n the way. Extremely clean. Amazing picture and sound. I had a wonderful time. Makes me think about doing their membership program to continue to go to the movies like I did as a teenager.

Great seats with adjustable backs and feet. The sound is superb. The price for food is very high, and tickets aren't cheap either. However, if you go on Tuesdays, it's cheaper.

Really enjoyed watching the color purple, love the theater new look, an relaxing while watching a good movie

Have always loved Amstar. The theater is clean as are the bath rooms. The manager was very informative with questions in reference to planning a birthday party for my son. The place has been completely remodeled. If you have not tried the GMX screen I would recommend it. Once you do there is no going back. The screen is larger, better speakers, and the seats 😁😁. Lord you can not beat the seats. They are heated recline and more spaced out so you do not have anyone right up on you. It does cost more but is worth it in my opinion, and I'm cheap. We don't go to the movies all the time but when we do minds well not have someone right up on you. Today it was just me and the wife but even our kids love it. I have never had a bad experience in this theater and don't think I will. Go give it a try and grab a free Snake Eyes or Quiet Place 2 poster while you're there. An yes we each had a beer while waiting for it since we was 45 minutes early but it's date night so you know why not. Come check it out yourself 😉😉.

This is our go-to movie theater in Anderson and has been for many years. It is far better than the Regal out by the interstate.

The theaters were upgraded a few years ago with the recliner seats which is nice. The place is typically very clean which is nice.

My biggest complaint is a couple of times the popcorn was terribly stale, but the concessions are normally good.

We’d go more often if it wasn’t so expensive (my only other complaint).

A very clean place to fellowship. The workers was very friendly. The movie seat was very comfortable and relaxing. Keep up the good work 👏 👏 👏. I really enjoyed myself at Amstar.

My go-to movie theatre! The cinemas have all comfortable recliners, unlike Regal. My only complaint (and I know it is not this specific theatre's fault so that's why I have not taken off stars) is that the app barely works. I always have trouble purchasing food or buying tickets and sometimes it wont even let me look at the times.

I love the flashback cinema they have, we watched Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen and it was absolutely amazing! The theater needs to do even more flashback movies. Good snacks, seating, and experience. We will keep on coming to this theater

Best Movie theater in Anderson. The upgraded seats are really nice. It's always worth catching the new block buster in the GPX theater. Staff is always kind and friendly.

Super comfortable seats, everything was pretty clean, and they play an old movie every week for cheap. Very nice, will be coming back

So my wife and I had not visited this theater in 4 years and when visiting two days ago to our surprise they had totally changed the seating to power reclining seats and even chase loungers in the very front row. This theater has always been my favorite in Anderson because it is very nice and very clean.

With a difficult week behind me the staff here helped me out with my unique situation, extremely helpful and to the point. Great folks.

Best movie theater in anderson! They have couches for couples or like kids to lay on. If you don’t want a couch you can sit on a relaxing heated chair and lay back. And their pepperoni pizzas are AMAZING!

Fantastic! Just saw the new Spiderman movie today & it's the first time I've been to this theater. It is amazing! They had blankets for sale near the concession stand & I wasn't sure why until I saw the seats. (Also, it is assigned seating. You have to choose your seat at the box office before you go in.)

The seats are super comfortable & recline. Most importantly, even when you are fully reclined, there's enough space in front of your reclined feet for other people to walk (so you aren't having to constantly move up & down for people to go by). Very spacious & thoughtfully designed! Even without the reclining feature, the extra space is great!

Honestly, this is a genius idea. If people love being comfortable in their own homes when watching movies, make theaters as comfortable as their homes! Even the concession stand is good for this, since you can pour your own drinks & add condiments or butter. It's like you're going somewhere to chill & watch movies with other people.

I love it! Will def be coming back with a light travel blanket for max coziness.

The only kinda iffy thing is that it's hard to know if a bathroom stall is available, since the doors stay closed. Honestly, in a women's bathroom (especially after a movie), I always assume all the stalls are in use, so it took a sec to realize that a ton were open. I wish they had one of those 'vacant/in use' things on the door lock. That's my only complaint though. Otherwise, 5 stars all around!

Very clean and comfortable seating, good popcorn 👍 Only problem to me is the sound is too loud....just my opinion..

It's a nice theater, we thought it was neat the have cuddlers (like sofas) but they are way to close to the screen.

it was decently clean when we arrived, cleaner than most movie theaters weve been to. The "arcade" is an air hockey table and a handful of temperamental claw machines. The manager Vickie had her hands full between the arcade games malfunctioning and the skittles machine being torn up but she handled it like a champ and was very nice. We will be back but hopefully they can upgrade the arcade and make it decent

Speakers were loud and clear and the seats were very nice. They reclined as much or as little as you want and were very spacious and comfortable. The popcorn was also good but very expensive as expected, the same for all of the food and drinks there though. The movie was also great and the manager or whoever it was who helped us was nice and understanding. Huge bathrooms that are pretty clean too.

Really nice and comfortable seating. Concessions is great, I love movie popcorn, I think while I was there the ladies room needed a little attention, but overall we had a great time.
