Triangle Restaurant of Johnston

Good food. Very busy on a Friday evening, but service was quick. I am on a Carnivore diet, and it's so nice when they understand when I say no bun with my burger. Many places argue out insist on bring me a side item The burger was delicious.

Amazing food! Good ole Southern country cooking. Desserts are fantastic, too (dont miss out). Just like grandma makes at home but in a restaurant. Staff was friendly also! I'll be back every time I pass through.

I absolutely love the butterfly shrimp dinner from Triangle. The salad is always fresh. It's my go to dinner on Fridays when I don't want to cook. Highly recommend this restaurant.

So it's actually 2 in 1 the cafe is open till 2:00 which is where I ate then the restaurant opens at 5 for dinner. You can choose a meat and 1,2,or 3 vegetables plus bread and drink. I had fried chicken, deviled eggs and corn casserole all were very good. They also have other items on the menu, service was fantastic and very friendly

New to Johnston but LOVED eating here we ended up coming twice in one week. Very cheap prices friendly staff. We did have one waitress that we had to wait around on even though she was just standing behind the counter. Drinks went dry frequently and had to have someone else check us out

Great home cooking and fast service. Will definitely enjoy eating here in the future as I have enjoyed every visit in the past. A+

It had delicious food. The atmosphere reminded me of Happy Days and Mel's Diner. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for the food to come to your table. They cook the food after you order it. The service was friendly. Also, they have a salad bar.

Been going there since I was a kid. When my father died, they sent food. They are wonderful. Wish I had the hamburger steak smothered in onions right now, but I live in Augusta now.

I had the double bacon cheeseburger basket. Cannot recommend that enough if you are very hungry. It is a very large meal and excellent quality. My wife had the single burger and cheese fries. Cheese fries will be an automatic orde for us from now on.

The restaurant established 1961 has great reviews. Tonight I found out that the reviews are accurate. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Thank you for a mighty fine dining experience.

Really enjoyed the buffet today, had liver and onions, Mac and cheese, green beans, rice and tomatoes and orkra, cornbread. To go order was rice and gravy, greens, Mac and cheese, and red velvet cake, and cornbread.

I enjoy going to go to triangle I love the salad bar that they have and the Philly cheese steak and hamburger steak. Food is Delicious and the customer service is good as well.

My wife and I had driven from Gilbert to Ridge Spring to check out a new barbque place. Upon arriving, we found that it was already closed. So, we asked Siri for restaurants near us and it gave us 3 in Johnston. One was Triangle Restaurant and another was some 3rd Generation Catering and Restaurant. We first arrived at the Triangle, sat in parking lot and observed. Then went to the other. Upon walking to the door, we noticed that there was only one table being waited on in the entire restaurant. At that time, we decided that we would go back to Triangle where there were many tables full and a lot of takeout orders being picked up!

I am so glad we did! I got the hamburger steak with onions, salad, and baked potato and my wife got the 2 pork chop fried dinner with salad and baked potato. You cannot beat their prices for this quality of food! The salad bar may not be that big, but it was VERY fresh and had enough variety that you get one of the best salads I have had from a restaurant lately. There was NO bag junk on their salad bar. The potatoes are huge, actually baking potatoes and not those little potatoes you get at other places. We were told the owner is a butcher and he cuts and seasons all his meats. My wife’s pork chops were so huge, she could barely eat one and her salad. She took the other one home along with her potato. I only eat half my hamburger steak and potato too.

That’s not to mention all the servers and cooks, how helpful, attentive, and nice they were nor how clean this 60 year old establishment is kept. We may live 41 miles from there, but I assure you; it won’t be our last trip there. Definitely a hidden gem!

I'm not staying in Johnston now but have always enjoyed the food here. That is why I picked up food here when I came home. It just seems right and comforting to eat in it take out from here.

Food was absolutely fantastic..service was great. We went at a very busy time and the servers handled it so well. The only thing that could have some improvement is the high chairs really need to be cleaned they were sticky/tacky. Overall great experience though.
