Look. If you are looking for fun dive bar. This is place. I am usually solo and always completely. If you guve bartender look when a scary person is near they almost always help. ( when i say this took 2 of blink blink hug rando) but they caught. I still felt safe go have fun. Drinks great food is not fried in oil. Air fryer of sorts from what told. But fun place and enjoy

Best freaking bar in town most chill and layed back with all walks of life welcomed and absolutely cheapest prices around come on down to the underground and have a drink with the big bearded guy!!!!

What a fantastic, fun, and welcoming little joint. Outstanding staff and safe environment. First visit was for a drag show, all safety standards were in place. The show was awesome. This is a cool spot! There was a $5 cover on Friday night for a live hip hop group, jello shots at the door, cheap drinks and friendly staff/customers. Check this place out!

Best dive in Augusta. Best crew working behind the bar and really make you feel at home. As a woman I've never felt safer at a bar than I do here, knowing everyone here is watching out and taking care of one another.

I'm always in awe of Joe's. I appreciate the atmosphere and whether there are big crowds or little crowds, you are guaranteed to have a good time. I've found that not a lot of people can appreciate the atmosphere but my people get it

Just by random, I entered on a Monday late evening and was positivly surprised. They just finished a trivia night which seemed to have been fun. The owner Chris welcomed everyone and although I was on my own on a Business trip from Germany it only took minutes before I was part of the conversation. They managed to socialise and get every guest involved. So instead of spending a boring evening with drinking a beer on my own, I had a great night out with friends!!!

I highly recommend this welcoming dive bar. A home away from home a place for anyone especially a weirdo like me. Easy going hangout with fun music, diverse decor and wall art. Worth the walk

It is literally underground. You walk down the stairs under the sidewalk. The atmosphere is amazing! I ordered a Joe Burger and sloppy fries on the side and they were delicious! One the best burgers I've ever had.

Nice place and nicest bartender ever!!! Our second favorite place in Augusta. Nick is a great bartender and host. Just don't go in one time, anywhere, and expect five star treatment.

Fantastic vibes and great service. Drink prices are fair. The best part is the live music they host from local bands, or karaoke nights. A must see if you are looking for the local flavor of Augusta. There's dinner for everyone here

Great staff. No smoking allowed inside, which is nice if you want to be able to enjoy grabbing a drink without coming home smelling like a cigarette. The drink prices were extremely reasonable and the open mic standup every Tuesday and Thursday is great fun for anyone. No cover fee, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

You need to appreciate Joe's for what it is, a classic underground bar experience. It's old and dark but jam packed with character that can only come with decades of patrons cutting loose and having fun. I walked into Joe's a stranger, but was greeted by both customers and staff and welcomed as a friend. Oh, and by the way, the food was excellent! So enjoy the mis-matched chairs, graffiti-filled walls and the old-style wall-to-floor urinal in the men's room. It's all part of the experience.

Love Joe's Underground. Always a good place with good people. The staff there is amazing. The drinks are always affordable. And their 80s night is seriously awesome! And I always go to their karaoke on Saturday nights!!!

LOVE Joe's Underground. Not into the evening/music scene, but for lunch or a beer or three after work, it's awesome. Food is always great, excellent selection and variety. The staff have almost all been there "forever" in restaurant years and are all awesome. And no screaming kids! Yay!

Joe's is one of my favorite places to be. They accept any and everyone there. The bartenders Chris and D are phenomenal. Btw fridays they've been doing 80s nights, Saturdays have been karaoke and Mondays they have a board game/ RPG night. They only gripe I have about this place is I wish the kitchen was fully stocked and I wish they would renovate the place and bathrooms. But if you are looking for that Grimey underground bar Joe's is the place to be.
