Best flavors I've had at a Thai restaurant. The waitress was so wonderful and kind. The drink I ordered was great. Very clean inside and nice. The food itself was wonderful! I was so happy the whole time. I will come back. Portions were generous as well.

We have been coming here for years, it’s our favorite Thai restaurant ever. I love the Garlic Rice and the Chicken Pad Thai. Food is always delicious, it’s so nice on the inside, always smells clean, and the employees are amazing. My only one complaint is the spice level is very inconsistent, I have always ordered a 2 level and sometimes it’s mild, sometimes not spicy at all. But other times, like tonight, I spent $18 on food that I cannot eat because my eyes are watering and sadly it was takeout this time.

Overnight visit to Tulsa and we wanted some good Thai......well we found it! Large dining room with friendly staff. Green curry and garlic stir fry were both delicious with large portions. Will be back soon😋😋

One of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. The Pad See Yu and Tom Kha Soup are super delicious! Always friendly service. Vegan and gluten free options.

Our second visit, both times were great. Best pad thai I've had in a while, and cocktails were so good. Excellent service and ambiance.

Fantastic food for Tulsa area. Really enjoyed the shrimp appetizer (light and crisp like a spring roll), and the tasty chicken, beef, and veggie dish with some spice. Healthy food options, and excellent and prompt service. Will definitely return when back in town.

Because it's a little outside my typical Tulsa stomping grounds, The Tropical tends to fall out of the rotation and I often forget how good it truly is. From the outside the place looks unassuming, but inside you'll find a beautiful, expansive, fully stocked bar, clean and spacious dining rooms, and a knowledgeable, attentive serving staff. There are a wide variety of menu options from traditional Thai food and house specialties to pricier 'off the grill items." The Tropical offers a lunch special that runs from 11:00 to 3:00 where most entrees do not exceed $14.

They were out of Chang Beer (Thai) so we ordered Mai Tais that were generously poured with a nice balance of fruity and nutty flavors. Whether it's your first time in or you're a regular customer, the Lettuce Wraps are spectacular and portioned as a good appetizer for four. These appear to be a house favorite.
We selected the Kaprao and the Nam-Prik Pao Fried Rice as our entrees and were highly satisified with both; although, the Nam-Prik Pao Fried Rice (which we got with stir fried pork) was definitely the highlight. The tangy ginger sauce which coated the fried rice paired well with the savory pork and the tartness of the julienned apples. Will DEFINITELY get this dish again.

The overhead lighting made it difficult to get good photos w/o shadows and I neglected to get a photo of the lettuce wraps. Dishes came out piping hot and looked great - but photos wouldn't have done the food justice, anyway.

The best hidden Thai food gem of Tulsa! My boyfriend is Thai and the Tropical restaurant is the real deal. They have the best pad Thai and Tom Khai in town, and we are fans of the prikking. Their food tastes so much better than Lana Thai, and cheaper for what we get. I wish they spent a little more on advertising; their location isn't ideal and easy to miss. If more people knew about this place, the food would keep them coming back time and time again!

Authentic, welcoming, and very enjoyable. This restaurant is hidden away from the main rod and you would not see it unless you looked for it - it’s a local GEM 💎. The chefs prepare authentic their cuisine and you can expect to get a great restaurant experience if you’re looking for great Thai food at a great price.
They also ask you for how spicy you want the food which is very thoughtful.
The rating was from 1-5 when I visited with 3 being pretty spicy and 2 being “just for flavor” spicy.

This is Tulsa’s go-to place for fresh Thai food. Flavors are impeccable and the atmosphere is great. It will always be one of my favorites.

I've only ordered take out here. I got the pad Thai and was a little disappointed that the container for it looked small, it ended up being 2 servings for me and was very delicious! The building is kind of tucked away and was a little hard for me to find, but it was a very cute and charming establishment.

By far the best Thai food and Panang ever. Consistently delivers on taste and spice level. One of my favorite meals. Ever. Sister restaurant Lanna Thai is just as good. Go. You won’t be disappointed

Excellent Thai food! Although it has a bar, it functions mainly a sit down restaurant. Feels comfortable in both casual and formal wear. But the food is delicious and seems authentic. They customize it for your spice level perfectly. Great place, very pleased

The sauce bar is kinda a bit of a mess though but I do like that it is open and available for you to grab what you like and how much you want. Absolutely love it.

We finally got to go! The absolute best. Got the lettuce wraps 🙌🏻 finally a vegetarian option and it was so good. We love Tom kha soup - spicy and theirs is definitely our new favorite. We get it with tofu instead of chicken. Can’t wait until we go back. We got an order to go but it didn’t last us long ;)

Had the corn cakes and Tropical fried rice with seafood medley. It was all delicious, enough food for two (or three) meals and just the right amount of spiciness for my mood (2; it's just a hint of spice). My daughter had their famous lettuce wraps. The service was super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely return.

In the running for best Thai food in Tulsa is Lanna Thai and the Tropical. Fortunately, they are owned by the same folks so you won't go wrong either way. I prefer the Tropical for two reasons
1. The lettuce wraps - they are vegetarian, and at first I was skeptical but my goodness they are superb. The way the rice crisps up is just the best.
2. The sauce for the pad Thai is a bit sweeter here vs Lanna Thai and that is my preference (picture attached)

Eat here.

Though they can be a little slow with short staff, we have been eating at ( and enjoying) Tropical for over 10 years! They have amazingly kind staff and the atmosphere is like none other. The food is a Thai/American fusion and you won't regret eating there.
