I live just down the street and love this cafe. Great people and great coffee. I did, however, just purchase a 5$ breakfast taco that was quite underwhelming and, if priced more appropriately, would have been less of an irritation. I’ve had much better b-fast tacos elsewhere and for half the price. I encourage the proprietor to reconsider this insanely overpriced item, or make it worth the 5$ they’re charging.

I love the place, it's so cozy and relaxing, the music they play in the background is always wondrous and calming .
The coffee is fresh and smooth, and I highly recommend getting those expresso shots 👌 🫡🫶

I moved to Charleston from Austin, TX and needed to find a local coffee shop, because f Starbucks. Highfalutin wasn't too far from my house, so I figured I'd check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Their patio alone makes this place amazing!! The coffee and the food (espresso & panini) are delicious and their prices are really fair. There's a nice atmosphere inside too, but I'm scared of monkey pox, so I stayed my butt outside on the beautiful patio. They allow dogs on the patio, so bring them when you come!!

I saw this coffee shop on Facebook several months ago, so when I finally relocated to the Charleston area I had to check it out! I honestly felt like I found a little magical oasis :) and loved the outdoor seating area! I just had a honey lavender iced coffee (which was good) and the ladies behind the counter were super friendly! I definitely recommend stopping by and sitting outside if it's not too hot!

Their black pour-over coffee was by far the best I have ever tasted. Sweet, fruity, and refreshing coffee that I can't wait to taste again.

Staff was also great and knowledgeable as well. Will be back soon!

Nice little place for coffee. They've gone a little corporate lately but it's still a nice place to sit and write.
The patio is good when the weather is cooperative.

I wish I could have sat and enjoyed my coffee longer. I found this at random and really wanted a good classic cup of coffee and they definitely have it.

The panini was tasty but honestly it's yhr atmosphere that was so excellent. It was just a beautiful shop, quiet but not dead silent and inviting.

I come here often to work in the mornings. The baristas always have a smile and make awesome drinks. They also have snacks like cookies, bagels, and delicious quiche!

Cute little coffee shop with brightly colored art on walls and a variety of seating. Great pour over and iced chai latte. Several milk alternatives. Nice outdoor seating.

Such a gem in the West Ashley area! A local roaster with amazing coffee. One of the best in the Charleston area by far! A cute patio and pleasant indoor atmosphere gives them extra points in my book.

Elevates coffee as wine elevates grape juice. Amazing enough, roasting of the coffee beans is done on the premises. Even the brewing is beautifully executed all in service of an incredible mug of exotic flavor notes. Nothing typical about this coffee - so glad that they're around. Oh and the service is fantastic - great owners!

Visited for our first time today and had a wonderful experience. The coffee is great and high quality, the food options are delicious, and the staff is exceptional. We will definitely be returning customers.

Such a nice coffee shop. I really enjoy meeting friends here. They have a nice selection of drinks and breakfast items. The fall seasonal latte was beautiful and delicious!

If I could give bonus stars there would be one for the service at Highfalutin. The coffee is exceptional. I picked up some latte's and cappuccino's for my family and we all were ecstatic with our drinks. I didn't ask if he was the manager, but the gentleman manning the coffee bar gave me some very helpful advise for improving my latte art at home with my personal espresso machine. I will be going back the next time my family comes to Charlston.

I got the hot latte; it tastes so well; very chill and clean space. I spend here for three hours to studying and a fantastic place to work and studydy

My absolute favorite coffee shop in town! Adam is both very nice and very knowledgeable about coffee and they always have a great selection of beans. Usually two very good options for drip and maybe half a dozen for pour overs. Coffee on par or better than the other great shops in Charleston (Second State, Kudu) and none of the pretension.

Simply the best coffee, baristas, attitude and standards in the gourmet, artisan roasting space!

Great cup of cappuccino with my Mom on the patio. We enjoyed the caprese sandwich and Avocado toast as well. It was tasty but I'd add a house salt and pepper shakers, crushed red pepper shaker, sugar and cream station to the guest options. We look forward to returning to this great little spot in Avondale West Ashley.
