Casual Sole

For about 5 years, my family and I have traveled and stayed in Charleston, our annual Pilgrimage to Charleston and shopping, and we come to Casual Sole and have always had the best experience. They have top of the line shoes, but they have better service. Very nice family. Everyone should come and shop in their store and hopefully spend money there.

Great customer service, have been coming for 5 years! Very helpful with picking out shoes that will help you with your posture! They have a new machine that can scan your feet and tell you which shoe you should wear. Great experience all around and would 100% recommend!

The best customer service. We go to this store every year to get shoes while on Vacation. So helpful with type of shoe needed for your foot. They remember us from before and treat us awesome!!

I walked by the store with my mom and saw some shoes I'd been meaning to try. The employees are incredibly friendly and personable and I enjoyed just chatting with them. They are not pushy at all. Seriously nice people. The store carries popular brands--Birks, Hey Dude, Sanuk, Flux, as well as a variety of typical shoes such as Brooks. I'd definitely buy from them again!

I highly, highly recommend Casual Sole if you're looking for high-quality footwear! I cannot speak highly enough about the owner. I found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable and honest! I would definitely purchase shoes from Casual Sole again!

What a fun shoe day! My daughter and I just happened to be walking by, and commented on the Birkenstocks in the front of the store. The amazing staff struck up a conversation and before we knew it we were both trying on new shoes! We were not familiar with fitflops but learned so much. The staff was so knowledgeable, enjoyed sharing information, and were never pushy about the purchase. They were patient and kind as we tried on numerous colors, styles, sizes… and we all laughed and laughed when I tried EVERY time to untie the slip-on shoes! We have honestly never had so much fun buying shoes!! You may not think Charleston is the place to go for shoes, but we think our shoes were the best “souvenir” we could have ever picked! Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!! We will be back!!

Great products and Eddie the shoe guy in an unlikely place! Visit Aussie Casual for a nice selection of good-for-your-feet, casual shoes. Lots of styles and Eddie will find your size, tell you the specifics about each one, give you a pair of socks and do it all with a smile.

Best experience buying shoes we’ve ever had!!! The staff (2 extremely nice brothers) make you feel very welcome. They are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their brands that you might walk in just to browse but you end up walking out with bags of shoes in your arms. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Just bought a pair of leather Olukai shoes that I have been looking at in other stores for months. I bought them here because of the fantastic service. You will not find a friendlier, more helpful experience anywhere else.

We came into Casual Sole for a particular pair of Birkenstock sandals.
Surprised both the owner and myself a 36 was in stock!
The service was friendly and very helpful.
Also bought a pair of shoes for work.
Fitflop was a brand I wasn’t familiar with, but were very comfortable.

Walked in to the store with NO intention of buying new shoes. Wife was wearing a new pair of OC and I had new ASICS. We had not heard of FITFLOP walking shoes. The owner (?) saw what we were wearing and suggested that we try the FITFLOP walking shoes. Wow, great shoe. Long story short: I bought 1 pair, my wife 2 pair (black and camo) the camo shoes look great with her jeans. We are walking in them and they are great.

The service here was impeccable. From custom tailoring a belt to being accommodating, Aussie Outfitters really shined. They did manage to convince us to buy some sandals as ours were all worn out, but they are some pretty good sandals. If in the area, I would certainly check out this place.

LOVE Casual Sole!! Amazing service and products! The staff is wonderful, a nice family-feel to the atmosphere. They helped me pick out the perfect Fitflop shoe to help with my pronation. I bought a pair of shoes and told my husband how amazing Casual Sole's shoes felt, like walking on a cloud, and then he tried on a pair and bought one too! I would give 6 stars if I could for everything...staff, friendliness, shoe quality and cleanliness of the store. Will shop here again!

The staff are very friendly. It’s true that Charleston is the friendliest city on the East Coast. I’ve bought Hey Dudes, On Cloud and Birkenstock from them and their prices are reasonable and affordable

My wife and I were on vacation and stopped by looking for a specific pair of Hey Dudes. Upon entering the store we were greeting by all three of the guys who were working. I asked them about the Hey Dudes and was told they did not have the ones I was looking for. However, they asked me if I had ever tried on a pair of Fit Flops. I tried on a pair and fell in love with them. I bought a pair and so did my wife.

After we left the store, my wife got a text from one of the guys at the store. They found the Hey Dudes I was looking for! We returned to the store a few days later. I thought I'd have to review the whole previous purchase and visit. NO WAY. They remembered me, my wife and our transaction. I will definitely shop with these guys again. I also recommend, if you are in Charleston, stop by and see they guys at Casual Sole, you'll make friends and buy some of the most comfortable shoes you'll ever put on your feet.

I highly recommend this shoe store! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they truly go above and beyond to ensure that you find the perfect pair of shoes. If you have the chance, be sure to visit and ask for Eddy - he's an absolute gem!

Very helpful, very knowledgeable. At first glance there's the allure of salesmanship, within a few minutes you will quickly realize she knows her products and what the best fit is for her customers needs. While we were completing our purchase a woman came back to store to thank them , the shoes she purchased were perfect for her and her husband. Who comes back to thank a shoe salesman? If you need a perfect fit I'd highly recommend this store.
