Love the island bazaar, one of my favorite furniture stores in Charleston! Coolest selection of antiques, mid-century pieces, art, etc. We got two beautiful burnt orange velvet accent chairs and they even delivered them. Great customer service and highly recommend!

This place is AMAZING, to say the least. Love that it's a locally owned and operated business but, I walk through and easily want to purchase at least half of the items in the store. Everything is tasteful, yet eclectic, and even better - it's easy to navigate. I've personally only dealt with, Paul. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable about everything, he's also extremely transparent and genuine. Added bonus, he's an absolute pleasure and quite entertaining to work with! I would recommend anyone that's looking for anything from larger pieces of furniture, an accent piece, tiny details to add to your space, a gift, or even just a piece of jewelry for a pick me up for yourself to check out The Island Bazaar immediately!!!

Amazing store!!! It is wall to wall packed with amazing furniture and more. Vintage, mid-century, art deco, Hollywood regency etc, you will never fail to find the greatest pieces.

This is my “go to” for vintage furniture especially, mid century modern. They have a great selection of beautiful and unique items. If you like a shopping adventure, this is the place for you!

Our annual trips to Charleston always include a stop at the Island Bazaar. Their collection is skillfully curated from a variety of time periods and range from simple and understated to pieces that make bold statements. Don't miss it.

My wife and I have been driving by this shop for years, and finally made it in a few days ago while in search of a new dresser for our room.

Paul gave us room to scope out the shop, mentioning a couple of times to let him know if we had any questions. Eventually, we had a question about a beautiful MCM piece that looked like something between a hutch and a dresser. Paul came over and kindly informed us that it was a “gentleman’s cabinet” and proceeded to show how the upper portion of the piece opened up. He also gave us a brief history of the maker and showed us what great condition the piece was in.

By the next day, with some above and beyond assistance from Paul in moving the cabinet, we have a lovely old piece of furniture, in incredible shape, that we will likely pass down to our children. We’ll be back!

This is an amazing source for mid-century modern and vintage pieces. So fun to visit regularly and discover things within the inventory, but Paul is also excellent at finding and sourcing requests as well. As a business owner myself, it is important to me to support local business, and this is one of my favorites.

The Island Bazaar and Warehouse 61 have the most extensive selection of midcentury furniture and art work in the Lowcountry and perhaps the state. They are also great about sourcing specific pieces that you may be in search of. It's a treasure trove of beautiful and unique items you won't want to miss!
