After visiting the Hunley, visiting here seemed fitting. It was beautiful! As the granddaughter of a Submariner in WW2 and the wife of a retired Submariner, these people laid the groundwork for Subs as we know today. On our way out, we passed a large portion of the cemetary that resembled Arlington. My teenage son said "so much bravery." God Bless these men.

What a charming old cemetery! Came specifically to visit the Hunley Graves. Had just been at the Hunley Museum and wanted to pay my respects.

Regardless of your views of this period in our history, the 3 crews of the Hunley were true heroes. Coming to their final resting place drives that point home...they paid the ultimate price for their beliefs.

Such a beautiful resting place, but be aware of the prehistoric sized mosquitoes. They will eat you alive!!! DEET is your friend.

This is a beatiful place and great part of history. We are thankful for all of our forefathers who have been laid to rest.

There is limited parking in the cemetery along drive.

Magnolia cemetery is beautiful and historical! I went there to see the Hunley mariners graves, but there are many Confederate graves there. Right by Hunley, 2.5 miles so a great historical landmark!
