Kaminsky's Dessert Cafe

A MUST when looking for dessert!! This place has the best cake, pie, and ice cream downtown. Our favorites here are the brownie sundae (has huge scoops of vanilla ice cream, pecans, warm brownie, and plenty of whipped cream) and red velvet cake (cream cheese frosting is incredible). The employees are very friendly, helpful when deciding what to get, and the service very fast. All of the desserts look amazing, so you can’t go wrong. Perfect place for a date, friend outing, or just to treat yourself! It can be busy in the later evenings/weekends so there may be a wait if you go during one of those times.

Our server Braelyn was excellent this morning! Food was great as always. An after bridge run tradition for our crew and it never disappoints! Milkshake, cake, and pies, it’s so hard to choose so we get one of each!

Came here for dessert. They have really yummy booze shakes! Cakes were fine in our opinion. Good value overall though!

The people were very nice. Of course their menu changes every day so it's hard to figure out what you really want. But other than that everything was delicious. I had a milkshake that desserts looked excellent, but the day that I went I was too early to be eaten desserts for me but I heard that they're delicious

Love the location, friendly service and delicious desserts and drinks. Columbia location is my preference for size but same great menu and offerings here. Perfectly located on Market St, adjacent to restauarants and shopping.

We took a walk over to Kaminsky's for dessert. There was a wait to be seated & to order carry out. We decided to wait in line outside for carrying out. When we made our way to the counter inside the staff was super informative and friendly. We ordered the red velvet layer cake, chocolate layer cake, & an ice cream Sundae & took them back to the courtyard where we were staying. The Sundae was yummy, with chocolate sauce & mini chocolate chips. We wouldn't have minded a little more frosting between the layers, but the layer cakes were moist and delicious! Overall, it's a yummy spot for dessert.

Wow. The Samoa martini is absolutely DELICIOUS-to die for!!! Takes like the cookie but better! And the Dreamsicle milkshake was also soooo good. Hubby loved the espresso martini and the bananas foster Manhattan. Service was quick and Uber friendly-we will be back for sure!!

My husband and I walked in less than 10 minutes before closing (something I absolutely hate doing) but the workers were so welcoming in letting us get desserts to go. We got the mixed berry cheesecake, coconut cream pie and a brownie. While the coconut cream pie and brownie were good, the mixed berry cheesecake was to die for!! Likely the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I wish I had more time in Charleston just to go get another. 10/10 recommend.

We had gone to Carmella’s the night before and if you only have time for one dessert stop, Kaminsky’s has it beat in both customer service and taste!!!

Fantastic cafe for dessert! So many choices, even 2 gluten free options. We had the GF Lemon Poppyseed Cake, which was a delectable delight! It's a good thing that I live 6 hours away, or I would be there frequently!

Best cobbler I've ever had. We loved our so much we went twice on our vacation. Highly recommend! The sundaes were phenomenal as well.

Great cocktails! Even the espresso martini has a twist. My favorite was the Samoa cookie drink! Taste like one too. We also had a brownie sundae and that blend of warm brownie with ice cream was perfect. The place is a bit small so I could see this being hard to get a seat when busy. We went straight to the bar to with no wait time. Great bartender too! Everyone was friendly.

One of my favorite places in Charleston!! I cannot say enough about how great the drinks were and the slices of cakes were huge and yummy. I got the key lime martini and hubby got apple pie. The cake we tried was caramel banana spice and it was amazing. We visited this place everyday. Loved it

These desserts were actually phenomenal. I had the Boston cream cake and I also tasted the pecan pie and the Oreo milkshake. The cakes are made fresh every day and the one I had was light and flavorful and not too sweet! I can see how it won Charleston’s best dessert. It was crowded inside and also a small space, so it was interesting that they made us wait outside for our desserts. That was a little off-putting, but definitely understandable considering how small the space is and the layout of the cash register right by the door.

Dessert was impeccable. They've left me no choice but to Ap-Pie a 5 star review !

We visited this afternoon 6/3/2023. The young lady working the bar was awesome and the young man getting the deserts was so helpful. The food was terrific.

Came here for a quick dessert after a long day out. We ordered the blackberry and coconut cream pie. Both were delicious but my favorite was the coconut cream. Got a nice strong glass of coffee and the chocolate shake was delicious as well. The spot can be a bit cramped at times and the wait is a little longer than I expected but we’ll worth it.

Best. Place. Ever! Get there early on weekends or you'll be waiting in line for a while to get in. Yes, it's that popular and good and it's definitely worth the wait. The desserts are fantastic. The adult milkshakes are to die for. The servers are so great. Nothing bad to say about this place. Shannon was our server/bartender and she was fantastic! We will go there everytime we visit Charleston!!!

Delicious desserts and coffee! Our family stopped in multiple times during our trip to Charleston. My personal favorite is the berry cobbler.

One of the best dessert places in town. While it’s busy on the weekends, we went on a Monday night and it was perfect; no lines.
The food is always good, with us ordering a berry cobbler and a hot apple cider. The cobbler could come with ice cream, but we went for it as is. There’s also an assortment of cakes and milkshakes, as well as some coffee drinks.

If you’re also hungry, there’s a T Bonz connected to it…not sure what the menu is like and what you can order, but just something to keep in mind.
