Since moving to Charleston a year ago, I have finally found the perfect hair stylist. Her name is Rebecca, and she truly worked her magic on my hair, bringing it back to life!

I am very picky when it comes to my hair…I love Gibson, and I especially love my stylist, Lauren! I have long, thick blonde hair. I see Lauren about every 4-5 weeks to get my greys covered, blonde highlights, and a cut too depending on how brave I am feeling. She never misses, my hair always looks amazing, I trust her completely!!!

I got a partial highlight and cut by Madison who was so sweet and very talented. She delivered on exactly what I specified and was super informative about some general hair care questions I had. I would highly recommend this salon as well as Madison to anyone in the Charleston area.

Rylie Did a wonderful job on my hair! She made me feel comfortable by asking lots of questions to make sure That we were both on the same page, She’s super sweet and overall made my experience a 10/10! Most definitely recommend rylie to do your hair!!!

Just wanted to share that I found this wonderful salon on a whim. My hair appt at my salon for years cancelled me on Wed before New Years weekend and my Bday.. (I was looking frosty on top too)😬….I remembered hearing about GHM in the past took a chance and called for an appt. Mind you no appts anywhere for a few weeks out. I lucked into an open appt on Thursday am.. Thx to Audrey😘…She hooked me up with Lola. To say that I was worried and out of my comfort zone was an understatement. Was I surprised! Lola did all over color and roots. She finished by weaving in warm honey and blond highlights. My hair had depth and looked fabulous. The gloss applied gave it a beautiful sheen. Not to mention she was a joy to chat with through the process . Salon is so cozy too. Exposed brick and just a great environment. If you want a stylist who knows her stuff and listens to what you want. Go see Lola. I’m def going back … ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙃💄💇‍♀💋

The owner truly goes the extra mile, ensuring her team stays current with the latest trends. I've been a loyal customer for years, and each visit leaves me delighted with my hair. I always anticipate my appointments as they're a special treat and a lot of fun.

WOW!! From the salon, stylists, and receptionists- everything about Gibson is amazing. My stylist, Lily, did my hair recently and she KNOWS what she is doing. The whole process never felt rushed and I came out of there with beautiful hair!! You can tell Lily is passionate about her work and wants you to love your hair as much as she loves her job. She is knowledgeable and meticulous- not a strand goes untouched. She is a genuine person and has a true gift!!

I tried this salon after a friend recommended it. I got my hair done by Courtney. She listened to what I wanted and offered some helpful suggestions. My hair turned out fabulous. She also showed me how she styled it and suggested products that would help me achieve the look. I will definitely be back. Ask for Courtney!

Lily Jahanbani at Gibson does such an amazing job! She knows exactly what you want done and does it perfectly. She makes sure everything is just how you like it before you leave. She takes time with every client to make sure they are satisfied! She is kind and does an amazing job overall! I come to Charleston just so she can do my hair! She is the best!

The ambiance was so relaxing and pleasant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Lily cut my hair and she did a fantastic job, I absolutely loved the results, her positive attitude and how friendly she was. Jenna waxed my eye brows and similarly did a wonderful job and was very friendly. I definitely plan on coming back and have already recommended their services to a friend.

I followed Lily here from another salon. I have followed her instructions and “game plan” regarding my hair and she has nursed it back to health from when I started seeing her. The way she applies the color makes it look good for MONTHS, not weeks. She is truly skilled.

I had a wonderful experience at the salon!! Lily Ja was my stylist and went above and beyond! I have always been super blonde and I wanted to transition to a little darker. I had an AMAZING experience with Lilly. This was my first haircut with her and I can not say enough great things. I was her last appointment of the day on a Friday - she took so much time with me to ensure my hair looked incredible. Her attention to detail and knowledge was outstanding. I have been a Gibson salon customer for years but I’m going to be seeing Lilly from now on! The best!

I have never been happier with a hair service. I came in with a very botched at home root touch up and Kat absolutely killed it. She gave me a full platinum in one sitting and it looks beautiful and healthy. (I had just a a few balayages) Kat was the sweetest and the long session was so enjoyable with her. I will never go to another stylist again.

Every appointment with Melaina is an amazing experience! She is consistently patient, listens to exactly what I want and executes it perfectly. I always walk away with hair that looks fantastic. Five stars all the way!

Ok I never write reviews so the fact I’m writing one is a big deal. I could cry of the happiness of finding Kat. Im not sure what kind of sorcery she uses but let me tell you SHES THE BEST HANDS DOWN! I drive all the way from myrtle beach just for her! This hair salon is absolutely amazing. I grew up in NJ, very close to nyc where amazing hairstylist are then moved to myrtle beach. I have been there for 10 years DESPERATELY trying to find that again. I would get my hair down in myrtle beach and come home and cry until I met Kat. She almost brought he to tears (good tears) with how amazing and talented she is! Book her, book with this salon 1000% Kat is the best out there 🤍
