The Rise Coffee Bar

Deliciously adorable cafe in the heart of downtown CHS! Came here on my bachelorette with a group of girls and we absolutely loved it. The iced latte with a splash of caramel was to die for.

Very cute place! The coffee wasn’t anything spectacular but I’m still glad I tried it :). I got an iced brown sugar latte with oat milk.

If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up, then look no further then THE RISE. Nestled next to the restoration hotel, and located just slighyy to my west of King St. and the shops, Rise keeps the coffee and espresso flowing. The store itself is small but does have a few chairs for sitting and sipping. However, there is an open courtyard perfect for chatting and sipping. The staff is very friendly and works fast even when the lines get long and they will. ☕ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Stopped by with family for pastries, coffee, and tea. I had the Charleston blend tea and it was yummy. It tasted like it had bergamot and vanilla notes. Pastries and coffee were also very good. Seating inside was very limited, although if you were on your own you could probably get a single seat at the window and people watch. We sat in their outside seating area - really beautiful.

Charleston is not exactly a coffee town but Rise is definitely a coffee spot! Great patio to sit on. Great service. And, most importantly, really good coffee!

Had a great time getting coffee at this cute, stylish, and small coffee shop! The Vanilla Almond Latte was a favorite of the group! The staff is very friendly and made our coffees in great time while we took a look at their unique decor and comfortable sitting area.

What a great coffee bar with some of the best coffee we had in Charleston! Loved it so much we stopped on our way back home and purchased some mugs!

I love to frequent coffee shops and try new cafes; and I am especially drawn to ones with beautiful outdoor seating. I had been wanting to check out The Rise for a while, as I recently relocated to Charleston, and was so happy I did! I tried a specialty iced coffee and got some work accomplished on my computer; all surrounded by nature and tucked away in a little nook! I will definitely stop there again when I am downtown!

Super cute coffee shop with a great outside seating area. Coffee is fast and tasty and the WiFi is fast. Feels just a block off the main drag yet still nice and quiet! Went three days in a row when I was staying in the area.

Let me tell you a quick (sorta) tale about how this tiny coffee shop has in rapid fashion became my go to spot for the entirety of the Charleston and surrounding areas. Upon my first visit and ever since then Harper and Jessica have gone well above and beyond to make every experience not only amazing but also nailing the most crucial aspect, consistency. This seemingly simple detail can make or break any repeat experience. These ladies are the pinnacle of it. Every time, no matter how busy, slow, frazzled, understaffed or overworked they may be.

Do yourself a favor, and just try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful Latte and there are a number of shops in the building to explore while you drink your coffee. I understand they will deliver coffee as well.

After much searching for the best coffee shops in Charleston, we ended up trying out The Rise. We got a Lavender Honey iced latte and a vanilla almond iced latte, which both were very tasty. Cute and cozy interior space as well as additional seating outside on their patio. Will certainly be back when visiting the area again!

One of my favorite spots when I’m in town!! Taylor is my absolute favorite. She’s always so kind and patient as I don’t frequent Charleston, so I can’t ever remember what I ordered last time. She’s the friendliest I’ve met on the team. The experience wouldn’t be what it is without her!

Small coffee shop with a lot of character. I got a rosemary latte which was tasty and refreshing.

Had a cortado and the rosemary rise latte and both were incredible. Small interior space but it's clean and the decor is pleasant. If you're not there during the rush sit at the bar counter and watch all the tourists stroll by.

Sweet and friendly service, delicious fresh bagels with creamy cream cheese, and great atmosphere. Definitely make this you coffee stop when you’re around.

Always a pleasure to support local, independent coffee shops, and this one doesn't disappoint. I enjoyed my cappuccino and will return another day to try the delicious-looking pastries. Great ambiance and conveniently located near King Street shopping.

Sweetest staff ever!! This has been the best coffee ive ever tried in the area and they know what they are doing. 100% recommend! Really cute inside too😊
