My Hubby and I wanted to celebrate our Anniversary shopping at a local used bookshop when we found this gem. Such an incredible selection, great prices and Scott was a wonderful and friendly person to meet. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to other book enthusiasts!

Great Deals! The owner is extremely knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects and authors. Fantastic place to shop for unique gifts. I purchased all my holiday gifts at Downtown Books and the recipients were just thrilled and overjoyed. Downtown Books could as well be called "Down-to-Earth Books" The staff is friendly, unpretentious, approachable and helpful. Recommended

This bookstore is a book lovers dream! Quirky and wild. I have found numerous books that I remember from my childhood or could never find that one book missing from my series at home. I have also found incredible old books with gorgeous pictures and illustrations for super cheap. This place is a do not miss!

The best bookstore in town. Downtown Books has an excellent selection of philosophic and other academic texts, many of them out of print, in generally great condition and for comparatively cheap prices. The curation is particularly commendable: unlike many used bookstores, I never find myself wasting time browsing through mounds of garbage to find the hidden gem, for nearly all the texts on the shelves are gems.

Visiting this store was such a treat! I'm visiting Albuquerque for a conference, and it turned out that the owner (who is so so lovely) knew all about it as many of the participants wind up at his store, and I can totally see why. It's so cozy, with narrow aisles and books from floor to ceiling. It feels like the kind of place that might have a magic cupboard or something in the back room. Would definitely recommend this spot to any book lover in Albuquerque!

Scott has meticulously organized a delightful collection of used books. This is a wonderful place for a reader to stock up on new, used favorites. Scott guided me to a regional cookbook and local mystery writer and I discovered two books by writers I enjoy. Score! Go with your favorite booklover; you'll love shopping at Downtown Books too.

Just a chill cute little book store. The owner was friendly and it is everything one would love in a book store. Stacked high with books. With that musty book smell. A little quirky, but I love that sort of thing. If you are looking for a book and like this sort of thing, then go here!

Incredible selection and such a knowledgeable owner. Ask him if he's got something and if he doesn't he'll at least know where to look. Amazing store!

Small space, that can feel cramped at times but full of potentially great finds. The gentleman working there helped my husband and I, the conversation was professional, welcoming and relaxed. All customers were adhering to the health guidelines which I feel is absolutely necessary for safety. I appreciate the opportunity to support a local business and to take some great books home.

This bookstore is a little gem that my daughters revealed to me. I did not browse all of it, but I was enticed by the sections I visited. Prices are very honest, and the owner most pleasant.
