Food was great!! Our server Kendall was a delight, very knowledgeable and took exceptional care of us! best service so far on our weekend trip!! The food was soooo good!!! The broccoli was seasoned soo good. All of it soo good!!

Traveling back to South Dakota from the Rio Grande Valley. I'm looking forward to stopping next fall. Great food and friendly service. Great beer selection while we waited.

Probably the best meat loaf ever! It was tender and had great flavor. BBQ sauce was on the sweet side but still very good. The blueberry cheesecake is excellent as well. I can also say the grilled chicken breast is moist, tender and flavorful also. If you are looking for a great hometown restaurant in Bandera Texas, stop in.

I had the chicken cordon bleu and its was some of the best I have had. My sister got fish nuggets and she said they were pretty tasty. My brother said the fish was good. The crazy mac and cheese was said to be delicious. Our waiter was nice and was on top of our drinks. The bathrooms are big and clean. On days with live music it can get pretty loud in there but otherwise its not too loud.

From the moment we walked in it was great! Great ambiance, excellent, knowledgeable server, Kendall, and great food. Kendall was able to recommend some good choices and was super attentive! Highly recommend the Cobbs Salad! You will

This was our first time frequenting this establishment. The moment we walked in, the hostess was very welcoming. Although it was a 20-minute wait for a table, we would soon find out that the wait was worth it. Our server was very friendly and very willing to provide information about their menu. Food was excellent and the presentation on all the plates-not just on our food- but looking at other tables, was very impressive. I definitely recommend this place next time you are in Bandera. If you live here, and you haven't been to this restaurant.. you don't know what you're missing. We will definitely come back again and again!

I’ve been here twice within one week and I absolutely loved both entrees I tried.

New to the area; it was our first time there and Rebecca was great!!! Highly recommend the chicken fried chicken! Only complaint was that the chocolate red velvet cake was pretty dry, but everything else was yummy. Friendly staff, good food, and it was nice to sit out on the front porch/deck.

Well cooked and full of flavour Rib Eye Steak with very friendly service and really good sized portions. One friend had a fried chicken dish that was crispy but still juicy. Good selection of beers too. Our order of coffee with milk was a little funny with the milk coming as a glass of it(probably my accent 😄).

The best place in Bandera to get a great meal in a small town. Tammy and Arlene have created a superb dining spot filled with great servers, great food and a cozy decor. I eat or have an adult beverage there at least once a week. You won't be disappointed.

This place was EXCELLENT! I had tuna, brussels, and loaded mashed. Sweets had to send his steak back because it wasn't hot enough. They addressed the issue quickly. I'm giving full stars anyway because mine really was that good!

Brought out of town friends in for dinner and everything from service, food and drinks, was outstanding. We ordered the cheese curds and Sea Hog appetizers for them to try. Loved them! Our server Chelsea was quick, friendly and attentive to us. All meals were cooked as ordered and consumed. Our out of town friends like the meals at the Forge as much as we do. Eating "homemade" meals versus bagged or pre-prepared are fresher and delicious. We sat at the table for quite some time and we never felt like we had to hurry and leave. Chelsea continued to visit us even after our meal.

Fun and attentive staff. Everyone raved about how good the burgers were. They have a full bar as well. Always something fun going on.
I'd like to have the option of taking care of my bill at the table rather than having to stand, waiting in line, to pay a cashier.

Every time we dine here the staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile. Great customer service from the host, to the bartender to the wait staff. Food is also delicious. Home style comfort food and homemade cooking. We tried the chicken fried rib eye and the pecan crusted chicken. Tender, flavorful, and filling. Big portions so we had leftovers to relive the meal the next day. We don't come to Bandera often but we enjoy eating here when we do. We intend to return.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Excellent. The bread pudding was to die for. My wife isn't into bread pudding, but she ate half of it. Definitely, coming back.

The food was so good. The chicken strips are huge and made from actual chicken not the processes into a shape. The steak was yummy and my 6-year old ate all my chili. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite.

The gravy that they put on the mashed potatoes was amazing. It was definitely an old school skillet style gravy. It was so amazing that I asked for some to go. Food is excellent. Downside was they charged $7.50 for very small slice (portion) of cake. For the price I was expecting to be able to share. Service was excellent by Jeremy.

Four of us ate here 3 times during our stay as it was really that good. Each time the staff was friendly and helpful. Food was enjoyable, fresh and presented well. Portions were ample. On Fridays they have an all-you-eat fish plate. Generous portions of tasty breaded fish served with cold slaw and fries. We were big guys and none of us could finish the plate enough to ask for seconds. They have outdoor seating for those with pets and fir those that smoke. Typical southern hospitality and cooking. Totally enjoyable experience.
