Stopped here for breakfast, we ordered the classic breakfast pizza with chorizo and eggs over easy. The ingredients used are fresh and go really well with a pizza for breakfast!
We also ordered the chips, salsa & queso dip. I was not a big fan of the salsa but the queso was good 😌. I dipped my pizza crust in the queso dip and it was a solid combo.
Also, their coffee menu was impressive, I had the cappuccino .. it was 🤌🏼

This was our first time visiting Dough Joe in Bandera. We came in for lunch on a weekday. The location is easy to find, but the building needs a facelift . There was no wait and we sat down immediately. Service was friendly & fast Our food came out quickly & correctly. Our salads were fresh and made with quality ingredients, dressing was good. Our pizza was actually really good . The sauce wasn't too sweet, Dough was cooked well & not chewy . the toppings tasted fresh. As pizza snobs from Chicago, we both enjoyed DoughJoes pizza!

Stopped here for dinner while in town for an RV rally. Pizza was awesome. Service was good. And they are dog friendly. Will return

This establishment is owned and run by the nicest people. I showed up in the rain with a bus full of 50 hungry 8th graders and these kind people never batted an eye, despite the fact that it was lunch hour and their indoor capacity was already pretty full. They put an immediate order in, wiped down their outdoor tables, and even set up a tent so that we could eat outside. The service was quick and friendly, and all of my kids were happy and satisfied. Plus, the food was delicious. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were scarfed up, and we also enjoyed salads, wings, and soup. I personally really enjoyed the chicken ranch pizza and buffalo chicken pizza. Everyone I worked with was so kind and a great example of Texas hospitality. We will definitely be back to Bandera and back to The Dough Joe!

This place was such an amazing find! I can not eat gluten, so most pizza places end up off my list because of the options available. I looked up the menu for Dough Joe and noticed gluten-free pizza. I am so glad I went here. Not only did they have a lot of delicious Pizzas, but they also took the gluten allergy seriously. They prepared my pizza carefully to avoid any cross-contamination. They even used a different pizza slicer to ensure my pizza didn't become contaminated from other pizzas that contain gluten. I ordered the "chicken bacon ranch" pizza with BBQ sauce instead of the white sauce (contains gluten), and it was hands down one of the best gluten free Pizzas I've eaten. I will definitely be returning to dine here quite a bit. If you are gluten sensitive, make sure your server knows about it, and they'll make sure the kitchen makes accommodations when they prepare your food. I didn't have any reactions after eating here. Thank you, Dough Joe, for taking precautions the way you do. It is rare to find a restaurant that does all of that.

We only had a couple of good tasting pizzas, but was greeted by outstanding customer service from Mr. Terry and the rest of the crew.

Very nice spot to chill for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have outside seating available, I dinned with my dog. The property is clean & well maintained inside & out. The food was delicious. The service was fast & the staff were very personable. They have a separate menu for coffee, energy drinks, & alcohol. It's right across from a gas station & discount store. This is perfect for travellers looking for a good place to rest & have a good meal. I'm very pleased.

This pizza will live, rent free, in my dreams! Came into town for the weekend, highly recommend. Inviting staff and owners, amazing homemade sauces… order the boudin balls and wings, made to perfection! Literally all the homemade sauces. I have never really craved chicken on my pizza, but the buffalo chicken was mouth watering. Owners were talking about the renovations to come, very passionate about their business!

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is always so delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered the Buffalo and garlic parmesean wings, the jalapeño popper pizza, and the cowboy pizza. We are from Houston and anytime we travel this way, we will make sure to stop by.

Everything was delicious from the Spicy BBQ Buffalo Wings to our pizzas.

Fresh ingredients and the food was served timely and with great service from our server Federico.

All the staff were extremely friendly and willing to assist. We enjoyed the outside sitting area and enjoyed our lunch on an incredibly beautiful day!

First time I ordered pizza , thinking it would be expensive, I avoided it until now. I was pleasantly surprised to see the prices. I ordered a large cheese pizza for my kids and a personal Greek pizza for myself. I ate the whole thing , it was DELICIOUS, and loaded with fresh toppings. I will definitely be ordering again. I'm so glad Bandera finally has a good pizza place. Yum !

The absolute BEST pizza and wings I have ever had! I had the cowboy pizza and some BBQ wings, and wow! I have never tasted such good food I was blown away.

I am not a very expressive person, but this food had me in a grip, and I couldn't get enough, and I kept telling everyone at the table how good it was. I was truly flabbergasted at how this existed, but I never knew about it!

It tastes so good my pain from when I pulled my back a few days ago, and the pain from hiking today completely went away!

These were the best wings and pizza I have ever eaten, I am still not completely convinced Gordon Ramsey wasn't back there making my food.

Everyone should come here at least once, I wish I had known of it sooner, I ate so much I ended up nauseous, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Top notch pizza, great salad, cold beer, and hot coffee. Pretty much says it all. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, all get my recommendation! Kathy was our server and she was on top of it. She was attentive, social and as friendly as the day is long! (New Visit) this time Jada was our server, she was fantastic couldn't ask for better service. Had the seasonal Reuben Pizza and boy was it delicious. The flavors were very rich. Great Job everyone at The Dough Joe!

My husband and I ate here twice recently for the Solar Eclipse event. They had vegan options for us that made our visit pleasant. We bought a shirt from here as well! Would like the add that the locals of Bandera are incredibly nice and helpful. We would visit here again and eat at the Dough Joe again!

I have yet to come here and have bad food. I always get the cauliflower crust due to dietary restrictions and it always is crisp, flavorful, and the pizza is never greasy. Their drinks a delicious and everyone is so nice and helpful when you have questions about the menu.

Best garlic based wings recipe ever--Garlic Ghost Pepper sauced!! Homemade ranch...breakfast all day...homemade pizza dough too. Got eggs-benedict pizza and it was sooooo good...toppings evenly dispersed and great flavor profile throughout. These folks obviously care about what they are doing...the got order for 18 pizzas as I left-if that tells ya anything!! Enjoy

Love it!!! My first time to check this out after hearing about how great it was. First off, Terry was our server and was extremely friendly and accommodating!! The entire staff we dealt with were great! The restaurant was clean, cool and relaxing. I got the personal size bbq chicken with pineapple pizza with added purple onion. For all you pizza purists out there, I realize y’all will balk on that combo, but that’s what struck “my curiosity bell” that day……and I wasn’t disappointed!! It was excellent!! The Uncle Chris’s flavored wings were tasty as well.

Will definitely give them our business again!!

Great pizza, great wings, great drinks, great service, great happy hour too! The pizza pictures is the buffalo chicken with cauliflower crust. Delicious. Extra spicy wings were really good too. Not very spicy, but very delicious

This place is a must stop if you're in Bandera. Nice variety of pizzas including cauliflower crust and breakfast pizza. I ordered the margherita pizza and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the BBQ chicken pizza. My sister got that one and really enjoyed it. We've also had the cowboy pizza which is really good. They also have amazing sangria and margaritas. Yum! 😋
