Haunted Old South Pittsburg Hospital Paranormal Research Center

This is a great place to hunt ghosts. The new owner and staff are really helpful and clearly love the ghost hunting community. The place just gets better every time we come. If you want to have an encounter, this is a place where one is virtually a sure thing.

Did the daytime tour with Sam and she did absolutely amazing showing us around and doing the investigation. Sam provided us with a lot of information on how the hospital use to work, who used to be there and their stories. Once we did out investigation Miss. Nelly came through and had a little conversation with us. Definitely will return in the near future! If you have a chance to come it’s a must! Thank you Sam for a good time!

I traveled from Reno,NV to investigate the Old South Pittsburg Hospital with Off Grid Paranormal on 4/2/22.
Staff was super friendly,informative and upbeat.
It was a little quieter than I expected,but had some personal experiences. Still going through audio and video to see if I captured anything. Hoping I can return another day.

We did the 4 hr private daytime tour/investigation. If you are a paranormal enthusiast, do not be turned off by a 10am-2pm investigation. There are plenty of dark hallways! I really wish we would have brought our FLIR! But we had a ton of SLS figures, voices answering through the spirit box, phantom smells, shadows, a few bangs. Something flushed the toilet a few times when no one is in the bathroom, a lot of activity for 4 hours. Our guide was Heather who was super fun and knowledgeable - thank you for the awesome visit!

Updated review. My group has been here 4 times so far. It is always amazing; however this recent trip January 27th was by far our most active visit. We caught the best EVP from any place we’ve visited. Our equipment was really active as well such as music box and the Paralamp. REM pods were active in the kitchen. Our cameras even picked up footsteps!! Such an awesome experience. The staff on site were amazing as always; they are so welcoming and friendly. We appreciate their attention to our time and warn us if they have to move about the building.
As always, If you are interested in paranormal research then don’t waste any time. Go ahead and book your time. Not only is the OSPH a great place to investigate but the owner and staff are so supportive and non intrusive. This is the same owner for Harriman as well. Never the same investigation but never disappointed.

Amazing tour, Sam was fantastic! I was personally touched 3 separate times in 3 different areas. I also managed to capture a few shadow images. I highly recommend a visit!

Sam was our guide and she was great Alot of history at this hospital n it's great to hear they are still trying to make things as how they were If you have a chance to explore here I would highly recommend it We found this place watching Destination Fear, Kindred Spirits, and Tennessee Wraith Chasers

Best experience ever ... I personally experienced something there in the body box ...the tour was well done and very informative on equipment...All of the guides were amazing ...Thank you so much for the great night ...I'd definitely recommend everyone sighn up for this you will not be disappointed

We had a good time! We did see and hear some things. Overall it was a interesting experience that we all enjoyed. Try it!

Great place! Clean and they are trying hard to restore it. The staff was great and we had alot of fun.

This was a really fun trip! Our guide Chris did a great job and the kids all had a blast. I would love to come again but hopefully a summer trip lol it got very cold in there throughout the night. Oh and hang tight Jim! Maybe we will come play you some music again! Haha

This place is great! 10/10!! its a really nice place. The staff and everyone else are all so kind. Every Halloween they host a huge party with tons of free candy and food. They also give free food to the homeless and the hungry. All the spirits, skeletons, zombies, bats, mummies, draculas, vampires and all the other spooky, scary people are all nice. Don't be scared of how they look, they are all friendly!!

Wow!!! Very ACTIVE location. Had an amazing daytime investigation. Shawn, Heather, and Justin were awesome Tour guides and very knowledgeable about the history of the hospital and able to answer any questions we had. Definitely will be back for the Night investigation. Lots of hits with spirit box and emf det. Not disappointed at all, lives up to its rep. And new owner is doing a great job!

Incredible experiences here. This site is very active and engaging. Todd does a brilliant pre investigation history tour that is fascinating. Staff and support team are awesome, friendly and very helpful. These guys and gals have done an amazing job so far in restoring this historic hospital. We were truly impressed!

This place just keeps calling me back. I LOVE OSPH and I can't get enough of it. I just did the over night investigation and it was a great experience. Chris was our amazing guide and he truly made the night special. He was so knowledgeable and fun to be around. I can't say enough great things about EVERYONE that is associated with OSPH. THANK YOU for making me feel like family and providing a place that gives us seekers of the paranormal a place to continue looking for answers.

Amazing place. Highly recommend. The owner is great, and the volunteers are amazing as well. Personally I got tapped by one of the kind spirits on the first floor, Jim I believe. Another person in my group saw a ghost in all white.
Overall amazing place, amazing owners, highly recommend, I hope to be going back soon. :)

The owners are awesome, and all the volunteers are kind, and knowledgeable. Ive been here 3 times and have had amazing experiences everytime. I hoghly recommend if you like a good scare

This is an incredible location can't wait to return! We had activity on all 3 floors from the ugly man on the first floor, from one of the other investigators there getting slapped on the 2nd floor. Then on the 3rd floor in the psych part the girls got ran out. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Also the owner was very helpful and great and worked with us every way possible. Hes also doing a fantastic job of fixing the place back up can't wait to see what it looks like when its finished.

Hands down, the best night I've had in a while! It was our first investigation and we were NOT disappointed. The staff was amazing and so considerate and the place is creepy, but well reserved! We appreciate the business you guys run and WILL be back! Thank you! 👻❤🌹
