Great teamwork guys, if every hospital operated as well and were as professional the world would be a better place! Couldn't have asked for better service. The doctors were very polite and explained in ways that an undereducated person could understand. The nurses went beyond the call of duty to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Couldn't have asked for a better team, Thanks for everything!!! Our prayers go out to all of you!

As we speak my daughter is in the Temple hospital I will never again go there The experience of my daughter had in that place Was very difficult and unfair To say the least I am speechless I can go on and on But at this point it's not even worth it.

I do believe that my daughters C-section
could have been prevented. This is the most traumatic situation I have experienced.

After reading many of these reviews I was hesitant to be taken to Temple. But I've spent the last 3 days there and I've been quite impressed. Yes, the first impression is not good. The security goons all need to be smacked in the face and the triage nurse needs an attitude adjustment. But once I was being treated I was blown away. Jessica, ER nurse, is amazing. As is Dr. Dillion. The nursing on the floor was less stellar than I've had, but it was much better than many places. The physicians were all top tier. I will be happy to make Temple my go-to hospital.

My rating is 4.5 stars, and I’ve elected to upgrade to 5 because there are no half stars. My spouse was hospitalized at TUH for 6 weeks for stroke and cardiac issues; both brain procedures and cardiac surgery occurred. Doctors in infectious disease, neurosurgery and cardiovascular surgery departments were all outstanding; top notch in every way. Both neuro and cardiac ICU units were exemplary. The CT floor (7) was very good; nursing was excellent, but a complete lack of patient care aides is a serious problem -be advised that family resources will be necessary to care for your loved one in any area of TUH that’s not an intensive care unit, including a critical care unit like Cardio-thoracic. Otherwise, Temple is full of caring and dedicated people. It is an urban, public hospital, so resources can be strained. However, we found the quality of care to be very high for our critically ill patient, and I am a supporter.

Last, don’t go to any hospital for food! If that’s your bottom line, you will be sorely disappointed at TUH. There was some choice, and dietary did try to accommodate. The best I can say about patient food is that it provided adequate nutrition…and we were allowed to regularly supplement with outside meals, snacks and beverages. There is an on site cafeteria that’s open to the public; we were able to get better, more diverse food there and bring it upstairs.

We found TUH, on the whole, to be a fine medical facility, with top notch doctors and nurses. Many reviews relate to the emergency room. We were admitted on transfer from another hospital, and not through the emergency department. But I saw the ER every day for 7 weeks, coming and leaving the hospital at all hours of the day. It is under constant, relentless stress, especially at night. I was told that admission through the ER generally takes 10-12 hours or more, when there was discussion about readmitting my spouse, and possibly up to 18 hours. We did not return to TUH for admission through the ER.

DONT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS - every single person from security to medical assistants to doctors to anesthesiologists to ortho to assistants to RNs - all were above and beyond - the physicians assistant Mendel coupet is a hero in his own right . Temple was above and beyond trust me

I was diagnosed with something that is extremely rare , the swift actions of the nurse and doctor I had saved my hand and probably my life. They wouldn’t discharge me until they figured it out and was sure I would be okay. I wish I could remember their names. I thank them everyday.

I KNOW for a fact that Temple University Hospital is ONE OF the best hospitals in the United States. They are short staffed and overwhelmed. No one person can be at two places at one time. WE need more nurses and Doctors and THANK YOU to the ones who stand on the FRONT LINES. I wish I were younger I'd surely be a worker I'm willing to volunteer to do anything that's needed. I'm 62 years young. I cannot be a doctor but However I'm willing to assist in any way possible. There are a lot of people on this planet. And probably only 1 doctor for every 100,000 people. Sheesh if you're Young and intelligent step up.PLEASE

My wife delivered our first baby here, and the experience was excellent. All staff members were professional and took obvious pride in their jobs. The OB and Pediatric teams were courteous, professional, and very skilled. I was very impressed with the nursing team; they took care of my wife and son as if they were family. It speaks to the leadership at Temple that such great talent can be retained in this time of "great resignation."

Tonight I am having the worse experience in a hospital EVER, the guards in temple hospital are horrible, and don't know how to treat hospital guest, vs hospital problems. the put out a heart failure and kidney failure patient, than the guard called his friends to help fight him. I wish I had recorded the entire fight, I came here for back pain I have never seen this type of behavior in an EMERGENCY

We had our daughter at Temple and we could not have been happier with the whole process. Heather the nurse in charge for the delivery took charge and helped make for a smooth delivery process. Thank you Heather and all of the nurses and Dr's on the 3rd floor. This was the Wildonger baby that now gets her proper last name as we leave the hospital. Alexandria Carolyn Vetter thanks you as well.

The services and staff at Temple Hospital were very good this past weekend when my spouse was rushed to this hospital. Security-Miss Fisher, couldn't have been nicer and was with my daughter and I with support and care while we awaited his arrival. She is totally professional and got us through a tough time. The hospital was clean and the staff kind and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend Temple Hospital.

I don't know why so many bad reviews I got a double transplant here I had an awsome experience well not awsome that I was a frequent flier, but the nurses the Dr's were the best. Especially nurse Sami, Dr Lau, Dr Peng is my favorite Chris Kember the coordinator and Katie. From the moment is went in I was treated well. 100 stars.
