Very nice FS campground. Restrooms & showers were mostly clean but could use a little more TLC. Site 7 has been repaired and is not washed out as another reviewer stated however, I agree that it would be a tight fit for a camper trailer. This site is also very close to the restrooms.

We had a great time camping here. There wasn’t any real check in/out procedure when we went, so we just set up at our rsvp site. The bathrooms aren’t too bad and they provide toilet paper but not soap. There are watering areas too. I would definitely bring extra padding if you’re staying in a tent and FIREWOOD! Although they didn’t have anyone policing the grounds, they don’t want you collecting sticks to use. We used charcoal and firewood and were able to cook our food pretty easily. The campsite was peaceful and quiet most of the day/night. There’s horseback riding near by, a few scenic overlooks, hiking trails, and a couple of waterfalls. We absolutely no phone service and had to drive a mile or two (+) to get in touch with anyone. The local stores were about 45-hr away from the site. We found the best wood at Lowe’s. Citgo not far from the site had wood but theirs wasn’t dry enough. The campsite is pet friendly and I didn’t see breed restrictions. We would definitely camp here again. Not too far from Atlanta metro area. Great views and bring bug repellent. Lots of signs to watch for bears, but we didn’t see any. So definitely have something to store your food in safely! Don’t forget to book your RSVP before you get there because you may have a hard time getting service!

Nice clean campground. Stayed at site 29 on the top of the hill for a night. About a 100’ walk from the parking spot to 29. Bathroom and shower are located down the hill in the lower section (2 min walk through the woods). The lower section sites allow you to park right at the sites and avoid the short walk in like the upper section. Each site has a tent pad, concrete picnic table and fire ring. Lots of shade but it was still hot as expected in July. Good deal for $15 a night.

Peaceful well taken care off seems very organized with water available on every site and cabins available. I am too old to do camping anymore but I would spend some days in the woods in a cabin.

Great spot to camp for a couple of days and explore the area. Bathrooms are a 2/5 - 3/5 but they have hot water and offer some privacy.

Love this gem! Bathrooms are well kept,
showers are nice and warm or nice and cold either way you like it. The location is great as well take the road on the right to the north and you’ll find some cool other spots.

I prefer camping, not Glamping..so I like the proximity of hiking options Cherry Hill allows....I don't have to worry about loud stereos,Tvs or other commotion...just a quiet place to be near nature and enjoy the surroundings...lots of places to see and the staff couldn't be nicer!

All the previous info offered by users still checks out as of June ‘22.
Don’t worry about checking in with anyone if you have a reservation.
Decent bathrooms with a shower which saved the day for me!
Sites 2-6 are pretty spacious and back up to a creek. Lovely sounds at night. Not much kindling left though, so bring your own and your own wood.
And THANK YOU to the sweet preacher and his lovely family who helped me jump my car.
Will be back.

Watch out for the nightly racoons! Awesome campground. Excellent water pressure in showers. Productive trout fishing waters very close by

Great campground! No electric, but plenty of water sources scattered throughout. Sites are huge and some are on a stream. Had trouble with a barking dog one night, but not a permanent issue. Showers are awesome, and the elevation is high enough that it stays fairly cool in the summer. Not sure what there is to do besides camp, but definitely a great place to put your tent.

This was everything I was looking for in campsite when booking a weekend trip with friends. It has clean, reliable, bathrooms and showers along with potable water spigots throughout the campground. There are concrete picnic tables and fire pits with attached grilles at every campsite. The campground is not too big so it's never an unreasonable distance from the bathroom. Wood is fairly easy to find around the area as well.

Other than this, the campground if fairly low key (exactly what I was looking for), with nothing excessive like at some of the bougie-er campgrounds where there are giant pavilions or pools and whatnot.

There are also a few trails within walking distance of the campground if you don't want to drive to the trailhead, though they are not marked the best, so do some research before heading out on them.

One of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Even with kids riding around on bikes having fun it is so quiet. The bathrooms are private and pretty clean for how busy it is. Finding wood around is no problem.

Guys, i was hesitant to go here since saw less review and i am from Florida. But trust this is really clean and nice place to be. For us the main concern in restroom facility. Here it is clean and tidy with shower facility. You can pick this place without any hesitation.

Note: Dont forget to get wood for bonfire. If you forget to bring then come out of cherry place and take a left, after 4 to 5 miles on your right you can see a place where you can but woods.

I have been camping here since the late 90s and still make a trip at least once a year, even though I moved away. The camp host, Lester and his wife are great and they greet us by name. The facilities are usually clean and tidy with rare exceptions. It is located close to numerous waterfalls, hiking, and fishing. Great location for a reasonable price.

Nice quiet campground. Water and dump area, no power. Big, roomy bathrooms with hot water but metal toilets. No camp store but there are camp hosts. No phone service except at overlook about 3 min away. Reserve online before coming. Many private sites, some against a stream. Hiking trails right off the campground. 15-20 min to stores. Nearby waterfall, parks, rivers, other campgrounds and fishery. Excellent location to stay a week with lots of things to do outside.

Lester is a great host and Ranger Jim are very courteous and helpful. Very clean restrooms with hot showers. Trails to hike from the campground. All reservations only but with it. If there's a problem with cancelling the reservation the Rangers and host will help get it taken care of.

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed in! The campsites are very well placed and provide plenty of privacy from other campers. The waterfalls in the area provide great hiking experiences and are super close! Excellent all around!

Great place to camp. Large sites. Clean bathrooms. Warm showers. Excellent hiking all around, and as of June 2018, it's still just 10$/ night.
