Simply phenomenal first time experience at Vangeli's. I made a last minute reservation & the hostess was beyond accommodating. Her clear communication to let us know a party was coming in behind us helped to keep track on being out in a timely manner.

Evan was our waiter & he was absolutely wonderful. He treated our 5 year old with so much kindness & she felt very included in our Christmas dinner.

The food...stunning & delicious. So much so, I just had to be that person taking photos at the dinner table. 🤭

You can't beat the atmosphere, quality of food, cleanliness of restaurant/bathrooms & superb service from front of house staff-->bar staff-->kitchen staff! We cannot wait to enjoy another evening here again soon!!

My husband and I were able to sneak in at the bar on Valentines Day without a reservation and it was magical. Everything was perfect! Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails were thirst quenching. Scallops were phenomenal. The filet and lobster were divine. Triple layer mouse cake was the perfect end note. I left tipsy, satisfied, and a bit spoiled. Thank you!

Had the first date here and have been for special occasions. "Five star every time."Recently, we celebrated our first year anniversary here and had a five-star meal . We reserved the first table we sat at on our first date.all the requests I made were fulfilled . From seating to special request for favorite ontray,to best wine 🍷 ❤ I have ever tasted(the list of wines and champagne is excellent ) I would give a ten star rating if I could.

Had an amazing time here for a birthday party. I've been here previously and the food and drinks are always spectacular. On Wednesday they have live music (jazz singer named Luke) and he's absolutely phenomenal. 100% reccomend this resteraunt.

5 stars EASY - this is our go to place for date night without hesitation. Food is always beautifully crafted, drinks are spectacular, staff is the best of the best and the atmosphere is lovely. If you haven’t tried Vangeli’s, please try it! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Happy 5th Anniversary to us! Amazing food! Super service by Evan Dehner- we let the server direct us in our menu selections. He did not steer us wrong. Brie appetizer, blueberry and bacon salad along with a southwestern type salad, shrimp and grits, blue filet (nom nom) and the champion dessert, banana creme brûlée! 😃✅

Absolutely wonderful food. The presentation and taste of each bite was superb. The waitress we had was just the right amount of friendly and attentive without being bothersome or in your face. This is definitely our new favorite restaurant and will recommend them to anyone who asks about a perfect place to eat in the future.

Amazing birthday experience. Hats off to the chief. Intentional about the details, the plating, and the taste. Our server was absolutely amazing. Joe or Joseph was super friendly, on top of getting our order, made the experience perfect. This is a great date night spot. From the hostess to the food everything was perfect.

After a mix up with my online reservation which was solved by Zion after a few phone calls back and forth my party of 8 arrived to be welcomed by him warmly and seated right away at a great window table. I picked this restaurant due to the excellent reviews I read to celebrate my sons graduation from Clemson. It did not disappoint. The service was warm and excellent, the food even better then that. Dinner and amazing jazz music on Wednesday nights at Vangelis a must - over and over again!

I'm stuffed! The food was incredible, the server was delightful and the atmosphere was perfect for a girls night out or date night. I loved every bit of my time there and I'll definitely be back.

I’ve lived here 3 years and this was my first time eating at Vangelli’s. My girlfriends and I were celebrating birthdays. First let me say, everything about this place is fantastic. From their wine selection to their attention to detail. You won’t be disappointed. But the real star is the flavor profiles that we were presented with. We had several of the appetizers, and every single one was amazing. Do not miss out on the Butter boards, you will regret it. I had the Pork Belly and the Bone-in Ribeye. There was so much flavor in both of these and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Rose was a delight and made sure we were well taken care of.
Honestly this was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in Oconee County, hands down!

One of the best restaurants in the Seneca area. We were a bit disappointed when they first reopened after the remodeling work, but this last trip was great. Larger, more diverse menu. Great quality food. Wait staff were excellent and prices were good. Definitely recommend

First off the servers and hostesses were super kind and friendly and the and atmosphere was really modern and sophisticated. The bread and oil they brought out was amazing! We got the wild mushroom on focaccia for an appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered the herb crusted pork chop and my wife got the rack of lamb. Everything on and with the pork chop was exploding with flavor. Probably on of the best pork chops I’ve ever had. However the lamb was pretty fatty and we didn’t really care for it, but it might be an acquired taste, idk. Overall great experience here!

I Love this bistro. His food is amazing, usually in season and local. I try to get in as frequently as I can You never know what wonderful special he will whip up.

Exceptional dinner experience! We had not been to Vangeli’s in several months and decided to dine with them before the Christmas Jazz on the Alley tonight. We knew the portions were always generous so we skipped any apps and just had the accompanying side salad with aged balsamic vinaigrette which was especially good since it was served with fresh, hot (not warm) bread and delicious aged balsamic and evoo. Yum! We chose a split of the Willm Alsatian Riesling as all riesling should taste like those in Alsace! The main course for both of us was the Mediterranean Risotto with salmon which was indeed generously portioned! And oh my, the Risotto was absolutely amazing!! Such an explosion of flavors with lots of veggies and very little basmati and the perfectly cooked salmon was indeed a nice addition. The desserts were very tempting but will have to be another time after a lighter dinner. Some French Press decaf had to suffice after dinner and then on to the show outside. Our server, Joseph, is a very personable young man and obviously loves making sure his guests are well cared for and pleased with the evening’s food and service. We will certainly be asking for him in the future and not wait so long to return!!

Wife found Vangeli's on her phone while having rum drinks at the Swamp Fox Distillery in Pendleton. The owner (Ernie) said it was a great place to eat. Made reservations. Wow. Beautiful decor, great staff and wonderful meals. Highly recommended and we will return - often.

Deliciousness to the extreme! The Boar and Pork Chop dishes were cooked to perfection and divine. Handcrafted cocktails are amazing!

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Seneca. Recently remodeled; it is beautiful & spacious. High end dining at affordable price. Warm, welcoming, perfectly set up for safe, social distancing, and the food is amazing! Honestly.... so, so good. Appetizer scallops cooked perfectly on a smear of sweet potato puree, oh so delicious! She crab soup is the best Ive EVER had! Salad was ice cold and beautifully displayed and blue cheese dressing is house made, as are all their dressings. Creamy chicken pasta with tons of unique mushrooms (my love language ❤) was fantastic. And I tasted Dan's steak, seasoned and cooked to perfection with sides including mushroom risotto and asparagus. As if all this food wasnt heavenly enough, we finished off a bottle of Napa Valley Cab - Faust- highly recommend. Thank you Vangeli's for another fabulous culinary memory 😘
