Hockinson Cafe

Good food and excellent service from this family owned dining establishment. Went here for breakfast and we're waited on by a very kind woman. She pointed out menu favorites and though what I wanted wasn't specifically on the menu, helped me tailor it together to get what I wanted. Establishment had many people (always had a small waiting line) and even with all those people could still hold a normal volume conversation. Had good gravy and a very good chicken fried steak. Will be returning.

Really great and fresh food. Great size portions so you definitely leave with a full belly. And the service from their staff is fantastic. Always friendly and fast! I have been here a few times and I have never been disappointed. Always my first recommendation for breakfast when someone is looking in the area.

The help is always nice and wonderfully helpful. They converse with a warm and caring attitude. The food has both quantity and quality going for it; I rarely eat my whole plate. I'd be a happy camper even if the portions we're a bit smaller. The decor is classic home-country style with items you'd expect to find in a log cabin up north. There is plenty of seating but it will still get very busy with quite a wait on weekend mornings, so plan accordingly.

I just loved this place. The staff was so friendly, it was like having my Mom fix a plate for me. I've heard they have long wait times, but this was my first time there and we got a table right away. The food was plentiful - HUGE portions and very tasty. The onion rings are amazeballs, try them ;)

Great Atmosphere, (waitress actually took care of the both next to us bill due to her understanding of their situation) Great decor, From the beach to hockinson and now in Battle Ground, WA. They just seem to keep getting it right. Food was fantastic and Orders Were Correct. Waitress returned to check on us several times and refilled our drinks. If I could criticize any thing it would be.... Too Small A Location and Too Little Parking...
It seems this restaurant may have too little of a cooler and or freezer space to bring on dinner hours. Shame...
That was the best criticism I could muster.
Anytime the critic is that we would love to see it expand and more hours... simply put you must get in the restaurant you will love it!

Great food, great service ! I usually go for breakfast, but just went for lunch. A very good deal, too!

Always a great place for breakfast! Parking lot is smallish (shared lot with other businesses in the same complex) as are the parking spaces. If you don't get in early, you'll have to wait as this place is popular in the mornings. Great customer service. Coffee cup never goes empty. Plan ahead and you'll have a great dining experience!

Great breakfast joint. I've been coming here for years now and have always been satisfied. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. Coffee isn't my favorite, but it warms up my throat. Overall still 5 stars.

My friend and I would meet here for breakfast. The food is really good and the portions are larger than I expected. I love the hashbrowns. Actually, I have never had anything bad. The coffee is little weak... I still love this place!

All the staff on this busy Sunday were cheerful and helpful. Surprisingly long gluten free breakfast menu! Delicious GF hollandaise. Generous kids menu sizes. If we weren't just passing through, we would visit often.

The food was very good. Had Eggs Benedict & Hashbrowns. Eggs were perfect and hashbrowns delish.. Would like to add that the service was exceptional. My mom had a problem with her mashed potatoes and our server took care of it immediately. Without any snarkiness at all. And so fast that my mom's food was still warm when the replacement came. Would highly recommend it.

The most amazing breakfasts just like my mom used to make it 😍🤗 I had omelet last time w amazing crunchy hashbrowns and today chicken fried steak I split w my friend that got Belgium waffle w strawberries w whipped cream! So amazingly delicious

We’ve been going here for a couple years now. We moved to a Woodland and we still come here! They have such a warm country kitchen environment and food quality is always amazing! We always come in as a family of 5 and 6 and always treated well. We love Hockinson Cafe!

Great food. Surprisingly fast service, we had our fresh breakfast within minutes of ordering even tho the restaurant was packed. Very fair pricing, especially considering the portions

Best breakfast around!! Great food, awesome selection, coolest waitresses ever, and it's just an awesome place. Old school friendly efficient service that cant be beat! Dont ne put off by the line-- totally worth the wait. Very family friendly! Even your pickiest eater will find something on that menu!

The Hockinson Cafe is fabulous! A friend took me there for the first time and it was really good food and the waitresses serving are probably the nicest servers I have been Served by in a long time. And the food is hot when it comes!!! So, 6 stars for them.

This is where the locals go for a good breakfast. The portions are large and the staff are friendly. Parking can be a challenge and you will have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. But you won’t find a better breakfast place in town.

Wow!!! Best breakfast I've had in years! The omelet was amazing and Ohhh the hash browns, they were PERFECT! We did wait awhile for a table, but it was worth it!

Best breakfast spot in Battleground. The Cocoa is great with free refills, their strawberry waffle is a favorite. They also have lots of other breakfast type foods. Often not open on holidays so check accordingly.
