City of Lebanon, TN Police Dept

I'm from out of town. I'm not a local citizen of Lebanon TN. I had to deal with the police department, here in Lebanon on circumstances of my own irresponsibility. They have been more than helpful, and nothing less than professional, and extremely understanding and friendly. I really appreciate how they have treated me.

disclaimer i’m putting this in google reviews bc i tried almost every number after calling and no one would pick up. what is happening here is a crime .

just called today because a neighbor of mine down the street has been neglecting his dog (no food,no water, no shelter, is living in mud, it’s been getting under freezing , and the dog is extremely aggressive! the dog also has mange on his back) on top of all of that the dog keeps breaking off of his chain and running around the other neighbors yards including mine. i’ve already caught this dog once, returned him to his yard where he has nothing . now that i’ve seen this dog escape multiple times and seen how neglected he is i couldn’t help but make a call.
the police officers arrive seeming almost angry i didn’t answer the door the first time , even tho i was looking for my cat who the dog had just chased out of my yard , i told them the situation even showed them a video of the dog and how bad the mange is. one officer agreed “yeah that’s bad” . they go to the neighbors house and start chatting with him , laughing and cutting up. the police officers leave only several minutes later not even going into the back yard . they saw the dog and how unhealthy he looks and continued to leave , watching the owner put the dog right back on the chain he keeps breaking off of.

it’s actually disgusting and disappointing seeing the people who are supposed to inforce laws just absolutely disregard them.
also disgusting how no one i seemed to talk to even cared the dog was in poor health.

and again i would just like to add im only doing this in a google review bc after trying to find some updates on why the officers left so soon with nothing done about the situation, i would like for this to be public because these are the officers we are supposed to trust.

Every police is not racist but getting pulled over after leaving Cahoots by an officer and telling me I'm being detained for allegedly running a stop sign I did not run and then having to bring an African American police on the scene like he was the good cop was unnecessary. I asked for a supervisor or his superior because they tried to change the alleged running a stop sign to a "California Roll," but the 20 minutes I spent there for his nationwide check was the reason which my record is clean....just be honest and say my vehicle was awesome with out of state tags and you thought you had a bust! Oh, and he actually gave me a ticket, and I'll be at court to document power trips.

Gave me a ticket for 93 in a 55 smh cause I was going at least 110
