The is definitely one of the best fairs around. There is so much to do and see. The grounds are very well maintained. Loved the model train building. Lots of live music to sit down and enjoy. Tons of rides to enjoy. Lots of local companies with booths and information. Everyone was so friendly. We even got to enjoy a game of trivia with the mayor of Lebanon.

My girls haven't been to a state fair in over 8yrs. Since we didn't do a lot of outside theme parks this summer, I said, why not. We truly had a great time. I can't wait til next year I won't be pregnant so I can ride the rides with them.

Even though it was HOT the day that we went, we still had a great time.
We went on the last day of the fair, in the morning. It was not crowded with a lot of people and my daughter got to ride sine rides. We even found the petting zoo

We had a blast, it was the "Big Green Reunion" of John Deeres, people from all over the U.S., I brought a Farmall M. It was it's first time on the scales and hooked to a sled. It done very good, I was very pleased with it. I didn't realize the size of that place, we had a side by side to ride on or we wouldn't have been able to cover a third of it.

We really enjoyed the State Fair. I really liked the antique cars, the food, the music shows, and the rides. Very nicely done. Very organized parking and good security. Wonderful experience.

Two of the biggest complaints I read are about the price and about wait times. About a month in advance (on the website) they sell Mega passes for $30 which includes admission AND an unlimited ride wristband. Your local Kroger may or may not also sell the same passes for $25. I realize that may still be a lot for some families, but I don't think many people are aware of it or how to get one. Some days are also cheaper than others so you may want to look in advance and see what works for you and your family/friends. The ride wait times can be crazy long and it doesn't help when people (mainly teens) are cutting in line. You can come right as the fair opens and have little to no wait, but as the day goes on it'll get busier and busier, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. As far as kids cutting in line you can be assertive and tell them no, usually when one person says something more people in line will back you up, or if an officer is nearby you can alert them and they can kick them out. Unfortunately there's not much the ride attendants can do about it unless they add more line gates. Other than that the fair is always fun to go to and there's a great variety of rides and attractions for everyone. There is plenty of seating you just have to know where to look, and some are inside buildings with AC and that's super helpful on those hot days. Food is decent but I can agree that most of it is overpriced for the portions you get.

This year there were new rides added to the midway. Looked pretty cool but I opted not to go that route. You need to really look around for best food options. Don't just go for hamburgers, you'll be sorry. You can get sausage, chicken, Cajun, Mexican, falafel, doner, gyros and good ole Southern. Lots of options! Exhibits are wonderful though this year the birthing barn was moved out of a barn and way smaller 😟. Tons of entertainment.

The STINGER is the coolest ride I have ever ridden!

I really enjoyed this fair as if I were I kid again! It had some awesome midway rides, both old and new! I got a wristband for $20 and it got me unlimited rides all day and night!
Got to leave after a few hours and come back that night!

If you want to play the midway GAMES be prepared to be RIPPED OFF ! $5 for 1 dart or ball or ring or throw! Then if you win you don't even get the small prize YOU SEE, they reach under the counter and give you a plastic toy not even worthy of a kid's meal.

So depending on what you want to do it can be lots of fun!

Very nice place. Large area with tons of parking and space for events. We attended the Bark in the Park and had a wonderful time here. It was very clean and well maintained. Some of the best bathrooms I've ever seen too.

I come here year after year and I am never disappointed, we live 200 miles away and it's always a great choice to come for the weekend. The Tractor and Truck pull was great! The kids rides are great! They had breastfeeding tents puts up which I do so that was so amazing and great support! I buy the wrist bands so kids can ride all day but they have great food selection for decent price, the shows are always great. The animals they have are always great too! Just all around love coming here and spending the weekend with family!!

Great family event for all ages, and you don't even have to get out of your car. But after the light show you can park and they have small rides for the children. They also have a small shop that sells lots of great snacks. They were all tasty.

The fair this year was combined between the Wilson County Fair & the Tennessee State Fair. They were missing a couple of bigger rides that they always have at the Wilson County Fair. There were 3 bigger rides that were down when we were there on the last day. The kids section seemed to be a lot bigger, which my children really enjoyed. Everything else was as great as usual. The food vendors were awesome. The kids enjoyed the barn where they got to learn more about animals. There were 3 chickens, a couple of cows, goats, & pigs. We enjoyed looking at the poultry & seeing chickens & ducks that we don’t have on our farm. We had a wonderful time at the birthing barn & we were so happy to get to watch Marshmallow have her baby. My daughter especially loved all the baby animals. There were bumper boats this year & my daughter loved riding them. There were lots of wonderful choices for kids to ride rides.

The kids really liked the petting zoo & getting to see animals we don’t normally get to see & being able to feed them. My son loved looking at all of the old tractors. We enjoyed walking through Fiddler’s Grove & looking at the old houses etc & getting to see inside the museums. We thought it was cool that they had a black smithing building. We’ve never noticed it before this year. They enjoyed watching the sawmill as well.

For the crowds that are always experienced at this fair, port-a-potties should be placed more conveniently throughout the grounds where bathrooms aren’t always close.

We will definitely be back!

The fair was good for the 2021 year. It was clean, a lot of police presence for safety, lines weren't too bad (we went Sunday afternoon), and everyone in our party had a good time. I can't really think of any complaints from the day.

Well maintained fairgrounds. Buildings and grounds were in great conditioned. Came for a look at the colt mule auction and it didn’t disappoint. Will not attend again if it is in the 30s as the three sided barn made sitting miserable. Very good food trucks on site. Enjoyed Lisa’s Kettle Corn for breakfast and popcorn. The bathrooms were large and heated.

Food, rides and family fun. Explore different things. Prefer your cash in handy because a lot of places don't accept cards.

Great family experience. Seems the heat may have kept the crowds down some.
