We love this place so much we hate to leave! The resort is quiet and beautiful. The cabin is clean and has everything you need other than food and toiletries and even a washer and dryer. High ceilings, knotty pine interior with a large stone fireplace (gas). A hot tub on the porch is hot and ready to use. Indoor pool at rec room is great. We enjoyed the half mile walk to the nice waterfall, that was fairly easy for us seniors to walk with some up hill. Could be better with King size beds and there is room for them. The bed in the lower bedroom is a double size with queen size linens that were luxurious. The bed is a bit too firm for me but a Walmart was just a half hour away and I got myself a foam mattress topper for the week. The upstairs queen size mattress is pretty worn with a dip on one side. The couch and side chairs are pretty worn out but we’re sufficient. The care takers were very nice and responsive. The ambiance was peaceful. I hope to come back someday. We took scenic drives each day to area lakes.

Beautiful location. Cabins are rustic enough to create a nice atmosphere with modern amenities that make it comfortable. Hot tub was a lifesaver to relax after the long drive or a hike. Nice little hikes within walking distance of the cabins. Close enough to the park to be convenient, yet far enough to escape the busyness and feel like you're alone with nature.

I just wrote a review but can’t find it to add to it, so here is another. We just learned that the hot tubs are kept hot and ready all week! Just take cover off and get in it! They are drained and cleaned each week. The pictures on the web site are very accurate so I will just add more of the local waterfall and the walk to it for others concerned of the accessibility. It’s a half mile with a slight incline.

We stayed for 7 days, a very pleasant experience. Great location, 15mins away from Apgar visitor center; Price is reasonable; The cabin and the whole region is maintained very well by the managers, a shout out to Sarah and her team! The kitchen is fully equipped w/ all the daily culinary utensils, and I'm nicely surprised by being able to borrow a crockpot from the office! We ended up cooking a lot during our stay, not that we have lots of great choices for eat-out nearby. The outdoor hot tub is an absolutely love by my families, nice relaxing after a long day hiking. The wifi connection is via starlinks, can be spotty at times, but adequately for light usage. The area is very safe and quiet, we did not see any bears during our stay. All in all, highly recommend it!

My wife and I lodged here for four nights with our four young children to see GNP. My parents, brother and their two children lodged in another 2br/2ba unit along with us. The property was very well kept fresh flowers and maintained grass/pathways were noted. Staff was constantly working on the property when we were there. The check in process was smooth and staff was very friendly and offered us bear spray (which we already had). This place gave my kids the nostalgia of a mountain vacation from my childhood. It is set well off the road and the entire property was quiet and peaceful. The cabins were clean and had numerous large-screened windows in each room which were designed to be opened to allow the cool mountain air in. These units do not have A/C and the windows allowed us to stay quite comfortable. The woodwork in the cabins has aged well and my children loved the resort pool and hot tub for after our hikes. We also cooked out of their gas bbq pits and used their covered picnic tables for larger dining with our other unit. There is a beautiful waterfall on-site in a cedar grove about a 3 minute walk from the designated trail head. Located around mile marker 163.1 off of Hwy 2 - It was about 20 minutes from the Apgar visitor center and about 1 hour to the two medicine entrance. If your looking to stay on the west side I would highly recommend this place. We would love to lodge again in the future.

My husband and I honeymooned here at the end of October of 2022. Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The cabin was stocked, we just brought food and our favorite cookware (which the kitchen is stocked). The cabin felt so clean and cozy. We stayed in a one bedroom. The nature trails are breathtaking, and the waterfall easy to hike to. The grounds were quiet and the neighbors were polite and kind. The management was incredible. Sarah and Eric were helpful, kind, and good natured. They answered any questions we had and did everything they could to be accommodating. If we ran out of something or had a need they met it quickly! We brought lots of games and things to keep us occupied. Keep in mind this place is in the woods, you still need to be appropriately prepared for weather and wildlife. These cabins are the perfect montana experience. There’s no cell service and very minimal wifi, so bring things to keep you occupied if it rains. We brought our favorite movies and games we could play offline on the Xbox. It was great! They do offer wood you can buy for the fireplace if you don’t want to bring your own, it was super affordable and they gave you everything you needed to get a good fire going.

Loved our stay at Glacier Wilderness Resort. We found this place by chance looking on google maps! We spent a week in the 2 bedroom cabin and it was very comfortable. The cabin was very clean, considering it was built in the 70s. We loved walking around the area. The place is very quiet. It’s 15 minutes to the entrance of West Glacier and 5 minutes to our favorite hike, Stanton Lake Trail. Will stay again. Marianne was very easy to communicate with through email.

We've had our cabin here for more than 10 years. It has everything we need -- quick access to the park and everything you need for a comfortable and convenient week. Yes, some light fixtures could be updated and a queen bed would be great, but all in all, it's a great home away from home.

We love Glacier Wilderness resort! It’s about 15 minutes from West Glacier and Glacier National Park. The cabins are homey and clean. The resort is very quiet and beautiful. We were able to borrow bear spray for our adventures in the park and walking around the resort. This is a very comfortable spot to spend a week enjoying nature! The hot tub at every cabin is a perfect way to ease your sore muscles after hiking in the park all day.

This is the perfect place for a getaway with family or just for couples. Service is amazing, cabins are beautiful, scenery is beautiful.... everything is great, seriously. It's also close to Costco and Walmart, so shopping is a breeze.

Lovely cabins set well off the nearest road. Heated indoor pool and exercise room and a hot tub on the deck of every cabin. Less than 15 minutes from the West Glacier park entrance.

Great place with lots to do. Good hiking and skiing in the winter, as well as snow shoeing. Small Rec center with a small pool and a few things to do. Out in the woods with a few other cabins, nice secluded place

Vacation time for Glacier National Park? GWR is stellar. Book a year in advance though.
