Tucked away in West Glacier, the SunFlower Cafe sits in the middle of Glacier Campground as a delicious and comforting breakfast, bbq and cocktails spot! I love variety so the rotating specials kept me coming back for more! Biscuits and gravy so buttery, kimchi bowl was 🔥 and the brisket and bbq sauce a must!
I stayed at the camprground for 4 days and was greeted by name by staff daily and any need I had was taken care of. Having wifi and a beer to finish up last minute business was lovely too.
Renting the electric bikes to go to Lake McDonald was the best decision 👌🏽 make sure to reserve ahead of time! Stopping at 🌻 Sunflower Cafe every summer for sure!

They are closed for the 2023 season now but we were lucky enough to enjoy a meal with them last Friday night. The BBQ was delicious and they had so many sauce options. A few vegetarian options on the menu as well. Huckleberry g&t was subtle and tasty. By far our favorite part of the meal was the company of Prudence, Chef Chuy’s pup who sleeps by the condiment station. 🥰 Can’t wait to visit again another summer when we come back.

Before leaving the Glacier Campground, my family and I stopped in for a Bloody Mary and some breakfast. This quaint, cozy, and hidden gem of a cafe will NOT disappoint!
The service was FABULOUS, the food was DELICIOUS (Breakfast Koren Bowl), and the atmosphere was so inviting for all (bags and foosball for the kids). We will definitely be back on our next trip up!

I’ve been debating writing this review for awhile because I love a good secret spot (especially with Glacier being so busy these days!) However, this place is amazing and deserves recognition.

Before I continue this review, note that this place is EXTREMELY casual. Keep your expectations realistic- attire in the mornings is pajamas and hoodies as this is located in a campground. You eat off of paper dishes. Seating is outdoors so it can be a bit chilly. If you’re into that, you will love the charm of sitting by a fire pit eating warm yummy food while surrounded by greenery, watching horses go by with bluegrass quietly playing. It is truly a magical place.

This is hands down the best breakfast and lunch in the Flathead Valley. The dishes are so creative and flavorful, inspired by so many different cuisines. The serving sizes are generous and it all tastes like comfort food. I’ve only been here for breakfast so I can’t speak for their other meals, but it’s truly worth it to stop by here while visiting Glacier.

I have come to W Glacier every year for the past 6 years specifically for the Sunflower Cafe! I am a huge fan of all their food but gotta say I LOVED the new Kimchi bowl, it’s a must try! And the biscuits and gravy are heaven in a bowl. Also the huge portion of cake! The carrot cake put our whole table in awe, I’m still thinking about it! The cocktails by the fire, the live performances, the e-bike adventures.. the Sunflower Cafe has the best of it all and just keeps getting better year after year.

Fantastic bbq! I lived in the south for a long time, and this is hands down the best pulled pork I've ever had! Their sauces are incredible, and their carrot cake was amazing! We got "The Works" and split it between 2 people, but we had just hiked 10 miles a day for 4 days, so splitting it between 3-4 people is probably more appropriate. Everything was delicious and we wold definitely stop here again!

If you are visiting Glacier National Park, don't eat anywhere else!! I had breakfast here and thought about it for the rest of the day. We brought food to cook but decided to continue to eat here for the remainder of our time because of how good it was. Great flavor, awesome atmosphere and friendly staff!

Little open air restaurant, counter service and large covered picnic table area. My husband and I had breakfast here. Biscuits and gravy for me, Thai breakfast bowl for him. We both loved the food! Very flavorful and cooked really well. Staff was super friendly. We want to come back for BBQ for dinner!

If you’re in the area, you HAVE to check them out. First time up in Glacier and we stumbled upon Sunflower Cafe & decided to have a nice hot breakfast on our last morning before heading out. We came right at open, and the space was friendly and inviting right away. The breakfast was delicious, savory, and definitely made with love. The fireplace inside was perfect to push off the morning chill & the homemade goods for sale are made by one of the ladies behind the counter. Good hot coffee & bottomless refills. Will be back on our next trip.

Loved the food and the camp ground! Everything was amazing. I recommend the shawarma bowl, two weeks later and I’m still craving it!

Had breakfast at the Cafe with my wife and kids. We loved the entire experience. The covered shelter and fireplace was the sort of spot we could have hung out at all morning. It was cool.and rainy and the fire and soundtrack was warm and inviting. The staff was very friendly. The food was so good. Kids had egg sandwiches and finished them no problems or complaints. I had smoked salmon with cucumbers and pickled onions on a hoagie. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. With this was my neighborhood spot instead of a vacation visit.

Absolute gem! Definitely don’t miss this incredible cafe. Stopped by for brunch, menu offered creative and classic options. Got the tofu bahn mi, boyfriend got the turkey club. Both were beautiful rainbow layers of nutrient dense sandwiches. Perfectly crisp textures paired with amazingly juicy marinated tofu. There was a vegan shepherds pie listed under dinner specials that also sounded phenomenal. Wonderful people behind the counter. Can’t wait to visit again!

The sunflower cafe is a hidden gem! I read about it in Flathead Living and was curious. We picked up breakfast and lunch sandwiches to take on the trails, and everything was delicious and unique. The atmosphere can’t be beat, and the staff were wonderful. What a perfect little spot!

Absolutely delicious BBQ- the ribs were falling off the bone and the sides were all delish. The perfect hearty meal after a long day of hiking! Great vibes too- lots of local campers, dogs, and rafting guides, all having a fun time. Overall, a great dinner spot near Glacier.

I wish I could give more stars for this cafe. The rustic scenery gives this a thorough "camp" feel even more than being in a campground. The food was beyond excellent and there is good variety to the food. This is hands down the best breakfast cafe in West Glacier and some of the best food in the area. I highly recommend visiting even if you aren't camping here.

Best breakfast we found in the area and perfect aesthetic you search for when visiting Montana and the park. Breakfast was hearty, full of flavor and nutritious, perfect before heading out for a long day hiking. Definitely suggest you visit. Prices were very reasonable and the food was outstanding.

What a great find for breakfast. Cozy and casual atmosphere in the woods with relaxing music and fresh made food. Wish we could have tried the BBQ, the smell from the smoker was enticing

I have no negatives whatsoever about this place! The food was different in the best way possible!! The Thai twist on some of the entrées was an unexpected treat. The whole atmosphere reminded me of a dude ranch which was awesome!

My wife and I had the most quaint outdoor breakfast. We are so excited we stopped here. Truely a unique experience. Most delicious meal of our vacation so far. They have a unique menu but were willing to make a traditional meal for me on request. Breakfast potatoes and beignets were to die for!
