Glacier Highland Restaurant

We walked in this nice and cozy place from our way to the hotel, and I have to tell you guys the chef knows what his doing. The stake was simply perfect, veggies just on point. You'll have a dinner that will satisfy you and not only fill you up but also give you joy.
The huckleberry pie was very good, too.

UPDATE I CAME BACK FOR THE PIE. I literally craved this pie my entire pregnancy and we took our baby moon in Montana , we live in San diego. I ate my pie, my husband's pie and got one to go!! SO GOOD!! Added the video for proof 🤣

I WILL COME BACK FOR THE PIE! Ugh so good. I had the huckleberry bacon burger and it was delicious! My husband had the blue cheese burger and was a...dare I say it? Happy camper!! The burgers and sandwiches come with your choice of a side we had fries they were tasty!! The beer selection is great,local brews which is more of our style since we are from out of town. The staff is friendly and stay busy the whole time. It's a great spot because it's a locals spot and for us campers needing to recharge after heavy hiking! There is also a gift shop inside and their prices are great! Reccomend to stop by if not for the burgers but FOR THE PIE!! * there are like 10 different types* see you soon glacier!!!!

Great little place, good food. We went here twice in two days with a group, and all of the meals were good. Trout filet, bison burgers, chicken pot pie, etc, everything we tried was enjoyable.

Best place to eat around Glacier National park. The meal was tasty, the salad dressing amazing and the beer to die for. We were disappointed with the other options around the park but this restaurant was a great find

Very nice vibe. Wife had the Grizzly and liked it. I had the Huckleberry Hound burger. Well cooked and tasty. the hand cut fries were very good.

They have the best American pies not just in Montana they have the best pies in the whole nation! Sorry not only Nation wide but World wide!! simple is that! I'm a traveler I been in many states in the US many restaurants I'm a cook my self and tried different cuisine overseas.
An honest opinion and a review they have the best food I have tired in my travels!! Everyone I meet there are awesome! form the servient to the owners.
I'm not a pie person and every time I try one I have bad experience but they recommended us to give it a try. I did then I realizes I never had a real pie before!! We even went back in the morning before we left to get more Pies!
Please STOP bothering them about wearing a MASK!! be respectful and understand that its the rules and they can shut them down if people are not wearing masks when they supposed to. You can enjoy your meal, have fun while you and everyone is safe no need to be grumpy!

I've been here 3-4 times over the past few years, and I love it here! Great restaurant!! This is my fav Glacier Park breakfast spot. Awesome pancakes, which you can upgrade to huckleberry pancakes, but I like 'em both ways!

Wasn't expecting much but the food was amazing! Our server was incredibly friendly and gave us great suggestions for our stay in Whitefish and visiting Glacier. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal before entering the West Entrance of Glacier or enjoying the drive down Highway 2!
The restaurant is also connected to a convenience store with a wide variety of souvenirs, snacks, and drinks.

We look forward to eating here each October while visiting Glacier. I've never had a bad meal from Glacier Highland. The burgers are amazing! Staff is always friendly and happy to provide local information. See you in the fall 🍁

Do not let the fact that it is attached to a gas station throw you off. The staff were super friendly, the draft beer selection was good and local. I had the bison sliders and my wife had the Thai bowl. We were both very happy with our meals. It was the best so far while at Glacier. The picture is of the bison sliders and the tater tots (they were great). Sorry about the bit out of one. Dove in before I remembered to take the picture.

It's been a long week and the weather was against us (June is too early for the Glacier National Park area if you can't physically handle cold and wet outdoor activities). After a completely inadequate food plan with our group of 4 couples, it was decided we would all fend for ourselves tonight. I am so glad we chose Glacier Highland.

I was discussing the Greek chicken salad with our most amazing server, Daniel, and joked that I like extra dressing, like, a little salad with my dressing, best case scenario would be a cup of dressing with a sprig of lettuce and a chunk of feta cheese. He came back with our drinks and the attached picture. I had a much needed belly laugh!

The food was also good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, but Daniel stole the show. Definitely recommend. As a bonus, prices were pretty good for the area.

Ate here before entering Glacier National Park. Had the huckleberry hound burger and it was great. Just as good was the potato dill soup. The star was the huckleberry pie with huckleberry ice cream. Great service.

The food here is amazing. The Huckleberry bison meatballs are so good I was licking my plate.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this restaurant! Of course, you can't expect too much from a small town place, but the prices were reasonable, food was great, and the service was good. I have no complaints from my visit!

Glacier Highland Restaurant, right outside of the west entrance to Glacier and across the street from the Amtrak station, is a great place to stop for food. With a decent sized menu and pretty good prices, their food is on point. They have a great selection of different kinds of foods and their portion sizes are good too. Service here is fantastic, very quick and always good with a recommendation. Would highly recommend getting some pie afterwards, anything with huckleberry will be just great!

The food was good, somewhat different than the southern cuisine that I'm used to but much better than some of the other foods I've tried. I'd definitely like to try some of the other items on the menu. I think

We stopped here for lunch and the lunch was good but the thing that makes this 5 stars is the PIE! Skip the lunch and just get the PIE!

This restaurant delivers exactly as advertised. Great burgers and sandwiches with some killer homemade pies. The Glacier Chocolate pie is a light chocolate mousse. It is delicious! I'm becoming very fond of all things huckleberry, too! And let's not forget that it is air-conditioned.

Great food! Good prices! Incredibly friendly & helpful (to us tourists) staff! Can’t wait to return!
