I drove by Brick Row Music last summer and decided to stop by to "check it out". I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness from the Professional Musician and Music Instructor (Joel Weaver) who promptly greeted me. I was inquiring about a Beginner Guitar Class. The prices are very reasonable and he was able to coordinate my class on the day of the week that worked best with my schedule. Joel is a great teacher and has a lot of patience with a Beginner like me. I have learned Basic Music Theory, How to String and take care of my Guitar, Strumming, Songs, Chords, Tabs, Keys, Notes, Scales and learning Triads, Bar Chords and Reading Music as I type this Excellent Review. It's also a great way to meet other musicians that are in and out of the store. What can I say - "I'm glad that I stopped by the Brick Row Music Store on that nice Summer Day".

I highly recommend Brick Row Music! Everyone there at BRM are incredibly kind and humble people. I have had the best time working with Joel. An incredible guy! They make you feel right at home! I give them a 10/10!

My five year old son takes ukelele lessons here with Joel. He is a God send! He is so patient, caring and gracious with my son during lessons. He truly cares about his students! Teaching a 5 yo can be taxing and Joel does it with grace and enthusiasm. The studio has also replaced the strings on an old instrument that was my father’s and I have recently purchased a starter ukelele from here to play along with my son. I too, are enjoying the ukelele tremendously!! The staff is very welcoming and professional. I’m a forever client and customer!

Had some great mods and work done on this Custom LP. The owner (Joel) is full of knowledge and will always get you hooked up right. And you’ll leave smarter than you left. Great store and service!

the man who runs the shop is very personable and willing to chat, also very helpful. he gave me a little advice on banjos and starting out with them. 10/10 recommend, will certainly be coming back. the lessons are also very nicely priced and i can tell they will be worth it.

Joel and Brad have been awesome to work with and I have learned so much from them since I started recording music here. If you're in Commerce, Texas, you should check them out!
