I came here on my perpetual search for the elusive perfect east coast bagel and was pleased with this find! Unfortunately, I did not try any of their coffees or other meals so I can only leave a review on their bagels.
Came here on a Saturday close to closing and wanted to see if they really did make New York style Bagels. I'm always on the search for bagel that is true and made the traditional way. Some bagels out there are nothing but nasty fluffy white bread through and through and should just referred to as a nasty bread donut.
Fortunately, these were great! I purchased the everything bagel and brought them home to toast and try. Their bagels are correctly made, as they are boiled and then baked so on the inside, they have a nice chewy almost gummy texture and on the outside and nice crisp crack to them. The everything bagel topping/sprinkle was very good, although I will say it is a little bit heavy on the salt.
I definitely recommend Brooklyn Cafe for their bagels! They're good honest East Coast style Bagels and for only about $1.50 each it's a good deal! Not sure what the price is for other things added to it but bottom line it's a good bagel.

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and they slather it on thickk! Bagel was really soft and soooo good! Also got a vanilla soy latte and it's also heaven!
The atmosphere was good. Everyone was so focused working and I got my food fairly quickly. Worth the wait! Support local

This place is bustling with people in the mornings on the weekend. There's a line to the door when I got there. After you order, the cashier gives you a number and there's couches or tables for you to wait at. There's also many seats outside. It would be cool if it was livelier, like Brooklyn 😋 but I loved the vibe either way

We had the Reuben sandwich and a breakfast sandwich, both were delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual Saturday morning. Plenty of seating both outside and inside, most tables were occupied, which was great for people watching.

Tried this place foe the first time today. They were busy but we got our bagels fairly quick, coffee took longer, but that's was ok as there was only 1 girl making all the drinks. Lots of tables of people looking happy, nobody complaining for the wait. There were several outdoor tables but we sat inside. The everything bagel was too salty but the cinnamon raised bagel with raised walnut cream cheese was amazing. The caramel snickerdoodle coffee was great too. Coffee prices were high, just an americano was over $5 and the other was almost $7, both were smalls. We plan to come back to try more things. Nice little place.

We were looking for something close by after a doctor appointment, but most things were closed before 11 o'clock but we were happy to find that the cafe was open. Not only was it open, and the parking lot very full, but it was absolutely packed on a random day of the week. I wondered how busy it gets on the weekends. We came in through the wrong door and the line was actually up to door at the correct entrance. And here I thought the parking lot was full because of the gym next door and people's New Years resolutions were still swinging. Nope-- it's the bagel place.

I was impressed by how fast the line moved because even though it was crazy long (and as soon as it finished another line made its way back up to the door again), they quickly got people's orders with the cashier bouncing from one check out to another.

I didnt see my child's macaroni and cheese, but she also got a brownie and said that it was good-- as long as my kid doesn't complain I have no complaints . I myself got an everything bagel with cream cheese. I saw someone else get a bagel with cream cheese and it was loaded up so I was happy thinking that mine would be too but for some reason it was light cream cheese which kind of annoying but I didn't check until I had got to my car and had to run. The guy next to me did order his cream cheese light, so they might have mixed them up, or the person at the table I saw ordered extra. So now I don't know what's an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Either way, kind of disappointing.

I also got an iced decaf sugar-free hazelnut latte and I'm happy that they were able to accommodate for that I'm always trying to find places to have more sugar-free options in their coffee.

I actually like the ambience of this place, it seemed very old school with the tile and the black & white color. I actually like when cafes and diners look like people actually visit them instead of the cold, stark personality that most have nowadays because it's just deterring for me. I either want something that looks old school or to look like a Grandma's house and this place was great.

I see lots of bad reviews for this place, but obviously it's very busy and even though we didn't actually get a full sit down meal this time, I was happy that we have this option close by. I would like to return and try out some of their brunch options.

If you have never had a NYC bagel, come to Brooklyn Cafe to taste the real authentic thing! My favorite is the Lax (Salmon) Bagel with cream cheese, onions and capers. They have a wide variety of Bagels to choose from, Sesame Seed, Poppy Seed, Onion, Plain, and many more. Finger-licking fantastic!!

Called in the order and picked it up and it was ready just when they promised. Order the Santa Fe sandwich on the everything bagel toasted. It was everything I was looking for. It is a manly sandwich. Not that a woman can't eat it. In this day of age we can all eat the same sandwiches. But it was hearty, spicy, and salty with the everything bagel. I highly recommend this place for relaxing much and delicious bagels.

Pretty solid New York style bagel! Very few can get it right regarding a quality NY bagel. Brooklyn Cafe gets 2 thumbs up from a New Jersey native!

Got a sesame bagel with the green herb cheese. My date got the hash bowl and a honey vanilla lavender late.

$18 with a 20% tip. Good value. Bagels are pretty good too. Wish they were a little darker baked and chewier but they’re better than any chain

Great food and drink here. They have a latte machine yay. Service was fast even at busy times which is down to an efficient staff. People were friendly here too.

Heard about this place after a local bagel shop closed. Was amazed when they said that if I called ahead even if out they could make what I needed. About a 22 minute drive early morning from Gleannloch Farms area and it’s been worth it so far. Ordered 13 plain and 13 cinnamon-raisin. They are very good. I will be back soon.

I had such a wonderful experience with the workers and I personally want to give a shout out to Andrea Lopez because she was so kind to me and the people I was with. She made sure we were all taken care of and was overall a very astonishing worker. Thank you.

I could come here every day for breakfast! It is that great! I love their pancakes and grilled sandwiches. We always typically order some bagels and cream cheese to go and eat them throughout the week.

Great place! Unique offerings and a great environment. Thir pumpkin cream coffee with oatmilk is the best coffee I have had in a long time!

I really enjoyed my meal here. The employees are really friendly and gave awesome recommendations. It has a cute old school diner feel. The specialty lattes were really tasty, I’d return for those alone. The breakfast bagel sandwiches were good too. I found them to be missing something (maybe a spread or condiment) because it seemed a little dry but overall still yummy.

Best place for breakfast in the woodlands. The coffee is amazing as well as the food. The bagel of the month is always my favorite. They strive for excellence and never disappoint. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots.

I haven't eaten here in years but went recently for lunch. It was delicious. I had the chicken salad on the Everything bagel, nice light summer lunch that was filling. The chicken salad was great, but the seasoning on the Everything bagel was perfectly balanced and addictive! I also ordered the iced Brooklyn Twist, it wasn't overly sweet and made for a nice afternoon drink. Service was fine, not much to complain about there due to the fact that you order at the counter.

Grew up getting breakfast here. My dad used to bring my brother and I early in the morning when the bagels were fresh. My go to is the bagel breakfast sandwich - protein filled and savory! I ordered the Rueben once and it passed the test, lol. The workers are efficient, excellent multitaskers and give great service with a smile on their face.

Such a cute place to come eat, it’s been around a long time, at least 20+ years. The blueberry bagels are delicious! The cold coffee is even better. The guy who owns it is a woodlands local and employs local kids. If you’ve never eaten here, you are missing out, so check it out!

Brooklyn Cafe is probably the best bagel shop in the area. The bagels are very tasty and always fresh. Their sandwiches, whether breakfast or lunch are amazing. But keep in mind the restaurant does get very crowded early in the morning especially on the weekends. There is plenty of parking as its located in a shopping center. Guaranteed you'll enjoy your breakfast.
