Pastor Joe and McCall are anointed for ministry! From the moment my family walked through the doors of the church and began to worship we knew that God had led us home! I thank God for this ministry and the things that they are accomplishing in the name of Jesus! The men’s group is literally the rock I stand on as a Christian man who wants to minister to others about the good news!! Thank you so much for your open doors and your commitment to Jesus Christ! Encounter Church has shown me how to have a deeper relationship with God through his Word and surrounding myself with like-minded people to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Several years ago when I was searching for a new church home, I visited Encounter Church. I was greeted and felt loved and welcomed the moment I walked in the doors. The next week, I was met with hugs and they had remembered my name. I knew this church was were I was meant to be. It truly is a big family. They teach straight from the Bible, you know you are getting God’s word.

Church has been my home for 14 years. We have grown as a church in welcoming others and being there for one another. This is our safe space and friends we call family. Come open and God can meet you there.

Pastor Joe brings forth the scriptures in easy to understand language and applies them to our lives as they are TODAY.
McCall, Pastor Joe's wife, is a VERY patient, sweet, and "ordinary" person that extends her knowledge and understanding with loving care.
The people that sing and perform on stage on Sunday are full of joy and fantastic artists that are simply contagious!!
We LOVE our new church family!! And we our humbled to have so thoroughly been welcomed with smiles and open arms by EVERYONE!!

Encounter Church is such an awesome church. All of the Encounter kids, youth and college groups are so awesome, I love getting to volunteer and be apart of these groups! We have such a wonderful staff, each and every one of them have been such a encouragement to me:) The worship team is amazing and Pastor Joe is so incredible! As a 19 year old, I am so happy to call this place my church home, we are definitely a family here at Encounter Church Amarillo!!! BEST CHURCH EVER!! Come join us, we would love to have you!

This church is full of Spirit lead Christians that accept everyone, love people and truly follow the Word of God. Pastor and his wife are very authentic and true followers of our Lord. I have been at this church off and on for many years, and I continually recommend this church to anyone I know!

Love this Church! My wife and I recently moved to Amarillo from NM and we were welcomed into this church from day one. We enjoy the casual atmosphere and the message each and every Sunday from Pastor Joe.

A warm and welcoming place for people of all ages. The teaching was exciting, thought-provoking, and most importantly biblical.

I have been going to Encounter Church Amarillo since it was Tascosa Road Fellowship and have loved it ever since I stumbled in the doors while driving around Amarillo looking for my church home. My Family had just moved to town it was a Sunday morning and we were trying to find the church that was up the road and gave up and landed at our Home Church. That was 12 years ago and I never looked back.
