RMC Oxford Family Practice

Wonderful care received at Oxford Family Practice by Dr. David Hopper. I have used Dr. Hopper for over 30years and he always listens to my concerns and gives me good medical advice and care.

The office runs like a well oiled machine. Everything went inperfect order and was executed flawlessly. Team was so nice and caring.

My children use Dr. Lindell here, and we adore her! All staff has always been polite and professional. The nurses are awesome with kids. We've never had a single problem with paperwork, prescriptions, or anything else. We've never waited longer than 15 minutes in the waiting room when calling ahead. Dr. Lindell is a great pediatrician and really listens to your concerns. I happily recommend her to anyone looking for the right doctor for their children.

Dr. Vance Moore is my doctor. He is the reason for the 5 stars. I am very please with him as my primary doctor.

The doctor and nurses I have dealt with here are very professional and polite. I couldn't have made a greater choice when choosing them as my general physician.

Reception Desk employees must HATE their jobs - at least, that's the impression they're giving out.
Never made eye contact, never greeted, no pleasantries - just started talking (at first, i thought she was talking to her stapler!)
Everyone in the back was pleasant and seemingly efficient, just that first impression stinks!

I started going to OFP about 25 years ago, Dr. Emerson has been my doctor since he opened his practice (He would get 5 stars on his own). My husband and I both use him but since RMC took over it has been terrible. I've been sick with a sinus infection over a week. I called early for three days trying to get in to see whichever doctor was in and they said they were full. They didn't ask who was calling or what kind of problem I had. I finally went to an Urgent Care which I don't like to do. I have a lot of health issues and all of my records are at OFP. I've had prescriptions sent to wrong pharmacies. Wrong dosages on medication, for example, I take Warfarin and the last time I got it, my dosage was supposed to be 7.5mg on Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs. The bottle said take two tablets EVERY DAY! I checked with Express Scripts and they double checked and that is what they received from the doctor's office! If I had taken that dose, I would have bleed to death! It has been one thing after another. I know it isn't my doctor's fault and we sure hate to leave him but they have made that choice for us. 😢 it makes me very sad!

I am not sure why waiting over 3 hours is acceptable. You make appointments and you still have to wait. Love the Dr. But hate the wait. I have been coming here for 12 years or more but the people scheduling must know by know how long visits take and schedule accordingly.

Dr. Gibson was the poorest example of a so-called “medical professional”. Not only did she exhibit a truculent demeanor, she did not order any bloodwork or labs for my post ICU hospital stay where I nearly died. The whole point of scheduling an appointment to follow up was to have a PC doctor to run bloodwork tests to ensure I was on the healing path. Absolutely do NOT recommend Gibson for anyone. A waste of money and time to be treated with bare minimum respect and compassion. The receptionists could take a big lesson on being more welcoming and cheerful. Their frumpy attitudes must mean they hate their jobs.

these girls must hate life...they lost my medical records. then lied and said they found them. I got there and my prescription was 1/4 the amount normally proscribed...I asked the receptionist, and she lied again saying the dr said he wanted to reduce it and see how it goes...um...BS!! this is a medication in which this cannot be done, as it has severe withdrawl effect. it has to be stepped down gradually...so after i drove all the way home, researched this, and brought my old prescription bottle back in, she went back to the dr and they finally fixed it. talk about a wasted month...shesh...i agree - OXFORD FAILURES AT PRACTICE.

I'm new to the state. Seeking new care here. I waited 2 weeks to find out if a Dr. could see me. No one called...I called and found out no. Then I asked if ANY dr. would "see" me. Waited another week, and I CALLED BACK AGAIN, and NO DR. WILL SEE ME. They don't have my records, nor did they ask me what care they would be seeing me for. Unprofessional, extremely slow and somehow this clinic seems to think they are special they can treat patients like this.

My mom went to the doctor because she was so sick. They wouldn’t see her because she went to the doctor the week before. They were so rude and mistreated her. The doctor she normally went too was closed because of New Years. They must hate their jobs yelling at people for wanting to be seen because they are sick.

They lost my papperwork a couple months ago! I had to wait two extra weeks to get my script! now they cant fax a simple document to my other doctor. rediculous. absolutely rediculous. I will tell everyone i can how un professional they are. they deserve no stars!!! That should be an option!!!

The slowest place ever. Appointment was at 10am and didn't have everything they needed so told me to come back at 1pm and I'm still waiting.

I do not like one of the doctors. She is not helpful at all
