Somers Pizza and Family Restaurant

So my family gets grinders from this place all the time and pizza too. This time, though, I got the small calzone just to try it out... HOLY COW!!! this thing was the size of large ones at other places and not to mention, delicious beyond and then some lol. Amazing through and through.

Not to long ago we went here for the first time. Was so impressed, we have been back a couple times. Also was happy to discover that they would deliver to our house and have done that a few times. Let’s start by saying when walking in the door, the first thing I noticed is the cleanliness! and inviting atmosphere. Our first time we ordered a couple of meals from some recommendations by the waitress. Both meals were plentiful and delicious. But the thing I commented on to my wife that I was most impressed with was the freshness of my dinner salad! I’m talking, everything was FRESH. On our next couple visited we got meals, apps and an antipasto or chef salad. Once again everything was excellent and the staff could not be more friendly, helpful and attentive. We have also ordered delivery at home a few times and food has arrived piping hot, and almost spot on the time they gave. Pizza is also great and once again salads delivered were the freshest I have gotten from anywhere around. They do have a couple seafood items that are frozen, however when we asked about one the waitress was very upfront to let us know they were premade frozen. The overwhelming majority of the menu is fresh made! If you want a great meal you definitely have to give them a try. We have made this our go to spot, for a local restaurant with consistently excellent food and service!

Great little local place! This was the first time we ordered from here, but the food was delicious and the potato skins were amazing. They were more than just the skins which was great!!

This sandwhich right here is a thing of beauty, I call it The Cape Somers. Fried fish 🐟 filet from their fish and chips 🍟 with lettuce, tomato, 🍅 Coleslaw, tartar sauce, on a roll 😋 with lemon 🍋 on the side to squeeze all over. It was awesome they made it for me custom. It was not on the menu but it should be now. So so good! Definitely get it for those summer ocean beach vibes. 🏖

The pizza is great! They definitely don't skimp out on the toppings or cheese!

Pizza crust is the best I think I've ever had. Freshness is surely a priority at this establishment.
Service can always be better, however I rate the service here and 8.5
Overall a good experience, I will be back.

We get take out at least once a week. Food is always good. And ready when I pick up. Pizza, salads, garlic Parm wings so yummy, and my son loves the bacon burger!

We ordered pizza from here during our Search for a new spot after our favorite closed. We've tried everyone in The enfield area and so far this is our new favorite! We order delivery often now. Grinders are perfect. If Clam chowder is the soup of the day I highly recommend it! I love how everything is fresh and homemade.

I came here with a large group. They were very accommodating and efficient. Food came out in a very reasonable time. I enjoyed a ham calzone. All the other food that was ordered at my table also looked amazing. The waitress was friendly and the owner came out to introduce herself. Take out seemed to be quite busy as well. Nice job guys, you are a nice addition to the community.

The food here is so good I had to call my Italian mother to double check she didn’t get a job working here. All jokes aside though this is a gem of a restarant and beyond the incredible homemade food is fantastic service. In a first for me the delivery we got was packaged with extreme care and cardboard separated each meal and the side salads we got. This was extremely smart because it kept each meal warm independently while also helping to keep the salads cold - genius! Past this they were very easy to order from over the phone and delivered the food right on time. I do not say this lightly, but the baked penne with sausage is one of the best I’ve ever had like wow it’s fantastic. This is a total knockout, is an excellent addition to the local community, and I can’t wait to be back soon.

I ordered 170$$ take out SUNDAY 5 June 22.. Young lady on phone professional and pleasant STAFF fantastic . My coworkers loved everything we ordered. Especially the salads ( chicken )grilled. One coworker ordered tuna grinder I quote the best he ever had second to his mother's. Well it's hard to beat mom. Coworkers and I coming back. Next time going PIZZA route. 5 stars all day long. This is a true testament.

Great little place. Very clean and staff is attentive. Salads are excellent and very fresh. Soups and entrees very good. My Italian aunt must be in the kitchen as the eggplant fries are amazing. Hand made! You won't be disappointed.!

Stopped for a light lunch during a road trip at the Somers Family Restaurant. The dining area was clean, inviting, and spacious. The menu is a traditional family style menu with the standard lunchtime fare but in some cases with a twist. Example, I had a turkey melt but was pleasantly surprised to see they take the time to add some carmelized onions with yummy cheddar cheese on toasted sour dough bread. The onions made the sandwich pop. Come on you know you can taste it now. Very fairly priced and Amber was a very nice server even though she had to run an errand...Lol.
I would stop here again while on a foliage trip through the 190 corridor through the eastern hills of CT perhaps. Anyway...a good place all around. Thanks for lunch.

I highly recommend Somers Pizza and Family Restaurant. We came from Stafford Springs to pick our pizza up. Friendly, prompt service. The pizza was excellent and not soggy like others. Perfectly proportioned and so good. Definitely our go to place. Worth the ride.

Love the buffalo chicken salad and the roasted turkey avocado wrap

I just had the most wonderful lunch at Somers Pizza & Family Restaurant! I had been craving a burger so I eagerly ordered the avocado, bacon burger. It was awesome! The fries were crispy, just the way I like them. If your looking to a menu with variety, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, this is the place to go.
