Captain D's

We have lunch at our Captain D'S very often and the food and staff are the very best but we had dinner yesterday evening and we were SO impressed by the young employees, they were courteous and our food was prepared perfectly and piping hot! Thank you for another great dining experience. A special shout out to Braedyn (I suppose, that's the name on the reciept) he repeated our order back, was well spoken and even changed an item for me without any hesitation.

Arrived a little before 4 p.m. and were pleasantly surprised to find no wait. We savored our 2-piece Fish Dinners, accompanied by the added bonus of a Senior Citizens Discount. Andrea, the friendly and efficient young lady who took our order, made the experience even better. The freshness of our fish, hush puppies, and fries was remarkable - perfectly cooked, not too hot, just right. The entire meal for both of us came to a wallet-friendly $13.61. The only downside? Almost too much delicious food to finish! A fantastic value for Senior Citizens – highly recommended!

Stopped for lunch on Sunday during the church rush and it was a very good experience. My order was ready quickly, the restaurant was clean, and everything I had was good. Nice work Capt D’s Ft Payne

The service was great and they were lot of people there but still didn't take very long to get my order .

I should've got the name of the guy cooking the food, while eating the same foods!
I still can't believe I accepted the food I was given, after seeing him back there eating the same foods, with the same hands, that was getting my food together! What the heck? I should've demanded new food. I got home and was too scared to eat the food!

I would love to talk to a district manager. Seriously!

Fish is as delicious as ever!! Mac and cheese wasn't nice, but everything else was.

This location is always good. The food is hot, always right and the sweet tea is really good.

The staff here are usually very professional. Wait times don't go up unless they got a pretty good reason.

Fort Payne is the best in my opinion of all Captain D's. The new fried Oysters are awesome. Had a large and wish I had another. Possibly the best I have ever had.

Very friendly staff and they were great with helping my elderly grandfather see and understand the senior menu and his options of side dishes. They even offered to carry his food to a table for him. The place was kept very clean. The only thing I would be concerned about is dinning in if your in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. There is perfectly fine access but if it's busy inside with a lot foot traffic it might be hard to get to a table. That's not anyone's fault though. And, could happen at any restraunts. All in all: a great place to eat some good seafood.

Local chain store, food as always is good for the money! Always fresh and hot when we go to eat there, dining room is always clean, rest rooms are always clean, and service is beyond excellent. The employees treat you as if they always have known you! Of course it is a small town, Sunday at lunch is the busiest time of the week so plan accordingly

I worked here for about a year, as well as every other fast food place around. This particular location is hands down the cleanest place to eat. The kitchen is always clean and the staff are wonderful.

Great food and outstanding customer service. The staff is quick to make your food hot and fresh and a friendly hostess lets you know when its ready so you can mingle with friends, family, or co-workers while you wait at your table. I can't recommend this establishment enough.

Crispy hot and perfect! Customer service was great and the food was as you'd expect when Captain Ds is at its best. We ordered 2 fish and mores with butterfly shrimp. The cashier gave us an adequate amount of sauces. Will visit again when I'm in the area.

Robert is always super friendly. The staff greets you and thanks you. Right now they are limited seating but they are doing a terrific job adjusting to that. The food didn't take long to fix and it was hot. Can't complain about this place at all.

Used the drive thru. Between the menu board and getting to the window, a coworker called and asked me to pick up another meal. I asked at the window if I could add to the order, and they gladly did and got it out fast. Excellent service and good food.

For a fast food restaurant, this place has good food and it's always hot and fresh tasting. The new spicy fish meal was delicious.

I previously went though the drive thru and got the family dinner however, the food was absolutely horrible. I’m not one to complain but I in fact called Captain D’s and told the manager how bad the meal was. She was very apologetic and stated she would put my name down to replace meals at no additional cost!!! So a few weeks passed and I remembered our meals but when I informed the manager( Robert) he looked in the book and my information wasn’t there. I was speechless 🙁 however Robert was so kind and professional and indeed replaced our meals with no questions asked. My grandson was at my side and the biggest smile came across his face. To Robert you are truly my hero of every manager had some of your qualities our dinning experiences would only improve!!!

My son was working here, but for real hands down they have great food. Ppl are so nice. Condiments are always full. The lemons are never dried up. I love this place, but fish ain't cheap, but I'm not complaining
