Melissa is awesome! I have been looking for a new stylist since before the pandemic and I finally found her. I’ve had a handful of haircuts with her, each one better than the one before. She somehow understands exactly what I want, sometimes better than I know myself. She has great technical skills and is also so sweet and easy to talk to. Highly highly recommend. Also the salon itself is great. Very bright space with beautiful decor. And all their products smell so good!

I was extremely happy with my haircut by Nomi who is a master hair stylist who thrives on perfection and making sure client is informed and happy. I highly recommend him and he will take you thru all the steps of getting the haircut you came in for. When I got my haircut he was training an intern and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Also, I was welcomed warmly by Lisa and Colleen at the front desk is so nice! Everyone is very friendly.

Mila did an absolutely phenomenal job with my balayage! Her blending and color consultation skills are amazing. I will definitely be a recurring client for her :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Also, the entire staff was so sweet and great at what they do. The salon is beautiful and super clean and modern!

Hannah did an AMAZING job on my hair color and cut. I came in with like many different colors and she was able to lighten my roots and make everything one color. My haircut came out the best I’ve ever seen it and she was so nice. Definitely recommend!!

Out of my hair experiences in Arlington heights, this was my favorite! Alex was a joy to work with and she did a great job listening to me and delivering exactly what I was looking for (some lowlights and toner). Her massage/shampoo was divine, the place is so cute and professional. Thank you!

I had a spectacular first experience here! I have long fine hair, but a LOT of it, and it’s very deceiving to the eye. Elizabeth knew exactly what to do. In the past, I’ve been charged $300+ for a hair cut and full highlights, and in the end it didn’t look like anything but a curl had been added to my hair. I told Elizabeth I wanted full highlights, and emphasized how much color I needed applied to show any depth. She said a half set of highlights would stand out more to get the look I wanted. At first I was skeptical, but boy was she so RIGHT!! This was the best hair cut and color I’ve ever had. There was so much dimension and she was able to achieve the very light color I desired without having to come back for multiple appointments. The shampoo session was very relaxing and had plenty of massage time, to the point where I was half asleep! Great conversation and friendly staff. Salon was super clean. They are observing social distancing and keeping clients very far apart, as the salon has a generous amount of room. Masks are required for both the stylist and patron. The street right in front of their business is currently blocked off (as of July 22, 2020), so park about 1.5 blocks south of the salon in a parking garage and you’ll be able to find a spot. Love love love my new look, thank you Bloom Salon!

This salon is absolutely amazing. They did the best job ever with my hair, truly cared, and have the best atmosphere. The moment you walk in the owner is at the front desk and she was a really kind person. Whitney was the girl who did my hair as seen in photos and she did a phenomenal job!! overall it's a great experience and I really reccomend it!!

I have very dark brown hair but with an Auburn coppery natural highlight in the summer. Whitney Roberts at Bloom Salon absolutely nailed my full highlights and haircut!! I couldn’t be happier!! It was exactly what I wanted! She worked with me and explained every step before and during. I’m 9 months pregnant, 2 weeks from due date and she made me feel so pampered and gave this waddler a much needed confidence boost! She has the best personality to boot so it was like having an old friend do my hair!

I really like this salon! Everyone here is super nice. The prices are reasonable and you even get rewards points that go towards a discount on future services. All of the girls seem to get along really well which you can feel after coming a few times. If I can't get in with my usual stylist there's always another gal who is willing to take me for my cut/color or even lend a hand while blowdrying and it's not awkward. I also feel like I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time and am not waiting at the front for a long time or my color to process which is really important to me at this stage of life!

We brought our 4.5 yr old toddler her for her first haircut. The Team at Bloom was awesome, from the team member who washed her hair to her stylist (Sara), they made her feel special and comfortable, while they gave her a great haircut! The salon was festively decorated for the holiday season and had a great selection of hair care products & gifts! We’ll definitely be back, my wife can’t wait for her appointment!

I love Bloom and have been going there since opening. I always have great, quality service and the relationship with my stylist is one I love (talking about you Lisa!). I can trust her to do what is best for my hair and give me advice on taking care of it without pressuring me to buy tons of products. I moved out of state about a year ago but wanted a big cut and knew I needed to wait until coming back to "my salon". Given it's pandemic times I should mention I was incredibly comfortable and felt safe throughout my visit.

After many years of not getting my hair cut I decided to take the plunge. And I'm so glad that I did! Elizabeth did a great job. She made sure she paid attention to details and that I was comfortable. She took the time to tell me all about the products she was using in my hair as well. I definitely will be going back and would highly recommend this business to others.

So many things. First, I would follow Elizabeth anywhere. She is the BEST colorist I have ever had - and I've lived in London, New York City, and Paris. From dark hair, to my as of late blonde highlights, she has flawlessly blended, and listened to exactly what I wanted while making expert suggestions based on my skintone and hair type/texture/current state. She is fun to talk to while in the chair which is just a bonus! Second, Bloom itself is so charming and welcoming. I ADORE that all the stylists seem to be friends, and the warmth which everyone speaks to each other makes me feel certain that the owners of the salon are treating their employees and stylists with compassion and intentionally set out to create a healthy work environment. I have been in the *most* upscale salons around the world and while the colorist and stylists were flawless in their work, hearing the catty comments, drama, and feeling the negative energy while I'm sitting in the chair makes it so not worth it. I was a long-time client of George the Salon in downtown Chicago and was relieved to find Bloom - I will never go anywhere else. My mom who lives out of state will now only get her hair cut/colored at Bloom and with Elizabeth because of how wonderful she and the salon are. I can't say enough good things about Bloom and recommend them to all of my friends and family. I'm so grateful to find my forever stylist and salon! I've had an absolutely wonderful experience with everyone there, from whomever is taking appointments, especially and in particularly the grace they have given me in my early postpartum days when I missed appointments and was frazzled to no end, the kindness and gentleness of the shampoo girls and just overall how everyone seems happy to be there. I've also had a fantastic facial there and am looking forward to exploring many more treatments and services with Bloom.

I love this saloon especially my hair stylist Mika. I wanted to change my color , to make it lighter. She did highlights instead of bleaching my whole hair which was awesome and dyed it brown with some red. It looks beautiful and I love it.

Highly recommend Bloom Salon for your up-do. I went to Bloom for my wedding ceremony hair and they did a fantastic job. I am pretty particular with my hair and they took exactly what I said and created something even better. Highly recommend!

This salon makes me feel pampered every time I go in. I've never had anything but excellent service and friendliness from the staff, who are very talented. I became a regular customer after my first visit. I can't say enough about Sara - she is my girl! Very talented, friendly, and not afraid to try new cuts. I love her!
