Dollar Car Rental - O'hare International Airport

Reservation car pick up went smooth, didn’t see any line, the whole process took me 10 min, the ladies on desk was sweet, I was booked manager special ev class c6 and got e7 which is 2023 Tesla model 3. The lady on car pick up offer me training which is I declined, the car actually was on reserved place and it was from Hertz. Car wasn’t clean inside and outside but it was okay. Overall great experience from me

Don't know why there's so many negative reviews. My experience was great! Made my reservation online at Thrifty website, at the airport I was met by Taiyab who was sitting at Dollar front desk, returned car to Herz. Taiyab did everything very professionally. Quickly, politely told me about all the options. It took me about 15 minutes to get the keys. A very positive experience.

on my way home from a conference and my flight was cancelled in chicago. 3 of us jumped in line to rent a car with a number of not so friendly people without reservation. the woman that helped us was amazing, helpful, positive and kept a smile the whole time. a ford explorer rental and 10 hours later we arrived at our home airport to turn it in. great experience.

I was a little nervous about my booking after reading the reviews (after I had already booked and pre-paid) but was pleasantly surprised!

We picked up our car in Detroit (a day late because of traveling issues) and the whole process took less than 10 mins. We got a freshly washed, clean car and were on our way.

The car was great, we drove to Toronto and then from Toronto to Chicago with no border issues. At the end of our trip, we dropped the car off at the Chicago airport with zero dramas. We took a photo of our dashboard, handed the keys to staff waiting and were on our way in less than 5mins.

Maybe we were just one of the lucky few but this was the easiest car rental I've ever done and we would definitely use them again.

I booked Dollar rental car from Chicago O'hare branch, before reading any of the reviews here, and as I did, I was getting more and more nervous about the pickup. We arrived no que, one person being serviced before us, waited 2 minutes, got our car as agreed, no issues at all.

Good service. Yes there will be a line because dollar has the lowest rates, so expect to wait in line. Made a reservation prior and the car was ready to go when I got there. Have a credit card ready for a 200$ charge, not a debit card. This is standard at all rental companies.

This was my first time ever renting a car and I thought it would be a nightmare, but luckily I was wrong! I pre-booked online and opted to pay at the counter with a debit card. Most other places I shopped said that in order to use debit they needed a deposit, multiple forms of photo ID, and credit check. Dollar only added a $200 deposit to my rental and the entire process took less than 5 minutes. I just handed them my confirmation number, license and debit card and was out of there.

Had really great Service with Dollar rental car at O’Hare airport. But I want to give a lot of credit to Guadalupe. He saw that our future daughter in law was in a wheelchair she has a serious medical conditions . He went above and beyond to get our car returned, helped us unload it and personally drove us to the airport. How lucky is Dollar to have such a amazing employee. Thank you Guadalupe.

Dollar has your best interest at heart when you deal with them. They'll give you option you didn't even know you had. The friendly staff should be selling the cars then renting them. I'd buy one ...

Loved the fact I could use my debit card and got a great vehicle! However they over charged me and I can't get it resolved.
