Just had my second visit with Alondra and I’m obsessed with my lashes. She is very careful and detail oriented. I’m writing this review after my refill. My first experience was great- she did a cat eye/classic style and it was a great introduction. This refill was better than the first. She explained it feels more dramatic because there was a base established and she was able to build on top of that. I didn’t realize how lashes could really enhance my look. I’m pretty basic when it comes to doing my makeup- I pride myself on a ten minute face. The last two days I’ve found myself staring in the mirror just studying what she did. She shared that I could use a little extra and she had the time to work a little longer. Definitely worth the extra 30 minute nap. I wasn’t sure about lower lashes so she threw in a few on her to see what I thought. I’m thankful for kindness and honesty. This is not only a time investment, but also a financial one and it’s nice to be able to work with someone who you can trust.

The service at House of Lashes is truly top-notch. The staff members are not only knowledgeable and skilled but also genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to listen to my preferences and concerns, ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire process.

I have been going to Edimar for over 7 years. The lash extensions she applies are very natural looking and high quality. They stay on for 3-4 weeks, as long as you follow her directions. I get compliments all the time. She puts on individual lash extensions (not the clusters) which look very natural. Her studio is clean, comfortable, and Edimar is lovely! I have also gone to her associate Trina (when Edimar was not available), and Trina does great work too. I would never go to any other lash studio and have referred her to several people.

I am ABSOLUTELY in love with my lashes!! I’ve been going to House of Lashes since last summer. The place is neat and very relaxing. Trina is AMAZING! She’s very gentle and professional when doing her job. I have the most natural look ever! Definitely recommended.

I first started going to Edimar at House of Lashes at the recommendation of a long-time client of hers who had really beautiful lashes that I always admired. When I found out that I had to go all the way to the city I was hesitant, as I live in a northwestern suburb and it was over an hour drive for me each way. I reluctantly decided to try her and made an appointment; unlike many other lash studios I have been to, I found it relatively easy to make a first appointment- she was able to get me in within 2 weeks. I found out in addition to standard upper lid lashes, Edimar also does bottom lashes, something no one else has been able to offer me, I have been to several lash studios. The initial appointment was about 2 1/2 hours for a full set on the top and bottom; when I finally opened my eyes I couldn’t believe at how stunning they looked! Edimar is a true artist. My lashes usually last about 3 to 4 weeks, so I try to get a fill every 3 weeks to keep them looking full.

Edimar is very honest and conscientious and she truly cares about her clients. She wants to make sure that your natural lashes are as healthy as possible. There was one time my allergies were really bad and I was supposed to see her that morning, I contacted her before her appointment and explained the situation. She recommended that I cancel my appointment and reschedule for a couple weeks out because she was concerned that with as itchy as my eyes were. I would be rubbing them and I would end up pulling out some of my natural lashes along with the extensions. I can’t tell you how pleased I was that she was so honest.

If you live in the Chicagoland area and are considering lash extensions, there is no one that I would trust with my lashes and my eyes more than Edimar. You will find lash salons that are quicker and less expensive, but you will NOT find someone who is better than Edimar. You get what you pay for and when it comes to the safety of your eyes you cannot put a price on that.

Edimar introduced me to the Volume lash, which is ultra-lightweight and comfortable. She designed a really natural look on me but still give me a mega flutter effect for my wedding day! Many even think that I was born with it!! 😉

I have been seeing Edimar every 3 weeks routinely for the last two years. Edimar performed her service consistently with the exact precision and is always cheery and professional as the first time I met her.

The bottom line, Edimar is truly the best!

Go to Martha for waxing!!! I’ve been going to her for like a decade bc she is the only one I trust with my sensitive skin. Whenever I’ve gone to other places I get ingrowns too. Martha is the best!!

Edimar is amazing! I came in with tricky natural Lashes because they grow every direction. Despite being challenging she worked meticulously to ensure they were perfect. I love them so much. I’m so glad that I took the plunge to falsies. Life is so much easier now. Thank you Edimar!
