Not only was Pat able to research his different partners and save me on my auto and home insurance, but he contacted me when there was an opportunity to lower my premium on a policy we had not even recently discussed. He picked up the phone when I had an issue after hours and was able to dedicate time to that issue. I have referred Riordan Insurance to my real estate clients and the feedback I received was excellent. His communication and follow-through were at the top of the list. I would not go here. Insurance was on auto-renewal. For some reason it did not get renewed. A whole month went by and I got a letter in the mail saying payment was not received even though I never changed any billing info. Now i get all of that may not be the agent's fault. Probably an issue with Safeco's auto-billing system. But how do you let your clients policy expire, and not even think of notifying your client like "Hey, why didn't you renew"? or "Are you sure want to leave us?" I just expected to have some additional line of defense. I called my agent after about 2 months of not having auto insurance and he had not a clue. He thought I still had a policy with them! Now my rates increased cause I had a lapse in coverage. Again, not entirely this agent's fault, but I just expected a little more attention towards their clients.

I can only guess the previous reviewers simply purchased a policy and, haven't had a need to call Riordan's office. Mr Riordan has staffing problems and he is mostly absent. He doesn't return calls. If you have no accidents, no billing issues, no insurance policy modifications, they're fine. If you need any of that, Riordan falls apart.

Fed up with a double-billing issue. &2 months of calls & emails later, I accidentally caught Riordan off the golf course and in his office. It still took another month to finally cancel the plan. They auto-deducted a payment anyway but fortunately someone in the office caught it and I received a bank credit, avoiding a meltdown.

Go anywhere else but here. Rates are only competitive as compared to highest priced companies. Riordan can't compete.
