Great Meal friendly service. Definitely worth getting off the highway for.

Stopped on our way to Seattle for breakfast, from the start the customer service was great! Friendly lady took out order and made sure we had everything we needed, as far as the food goes it was delicious and at a reasonable price... definitely recommend you stop by if you are passing by.

Cute little place it has that small diner feel that's hard to find. The breakfast was absolutely Phenomenal, best I've had in a very long time. The service was great as well, we will definitely be regulars!

Definitely felt the Love with Fireside Cafe!!! We ordered Cheese burgers and fries. I got to talking with the Sweet Woman Linda that works there. I told her I was traveling to WA with my 90 year old Grandmother. She gave me a piece of her Strawberry Cream Pie 🍓, on the House. If you get a chance have the Pie it was BOMB! Wish we lived closer Linda, Thank you 💜

We stopped on a drive down i5. Local places are always the best. The 2 women working there were very nice. They didn't even question my order of a Reuben sandwich with no bread! It was delicious!

Extremely friendly staff, good home cooked food, good amount of portions. Super tiny place, like being in your family room, I didn't mind that at all. I enjoyed the most was the service, always making sure you were doing okay, always had a top filled drink, offering conversation.

Great place to get some lunch! Loved the crunchy onion rings!

We stopped here for a rest and quick bite. The bacon cheeseburger is SO good. The bacon is long thick strips, there's the right amount of Mayo, pickles, onions (although I took mine off), lettuce and tomatoes. The bun is toasted to perfection and it's just the slightest crisp as you sink your teeth in. The fries are also great. I highly recommend. It's a small joint just off the highway.

Summary for the TLDR types: The people running this place make it what it is: special!! And the food is top quality.

My detailed review and experience: I went there on a cloudy muggy Saturday morning in May 2020. It’s a shame we could not dine in at this wonderful place because of the covid 19 restrictions. Debbi was running the kitchen when we got there and we went over the menu on the door and she made a recommendation I do not regret taking up. It was the blue cheese burger- and it is delicious :) I barely finished eating the burger and could not wait to write this review. It is a cute, cozy little place in a campground just outside the town. Debbi is a warm and really friendly host. I’m from New York and I have to go back before the restaurants re open but I will be back here soon to dine in and talk to the wonderful people here, especially Debbi !! :)

If I am in the area, I am going to this place. Top quality people, service, food and location !!!

Try the chicken fry. Everything made short order so it's always fresh and hot.

Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Walk around the river, kids can play at 2 small parks areas. Fishing is great. RV and tent camping. Lots of trees for shade and colors in the fall.

This place is a gem!
Mrs. Karvela is great and the food is cooked perfect. I had the chicken fried steak, eggs and toast and it was the best I've had in Cowlitz County.
I eat breakfast in Newport,OREGON at The Coffee house which is the bomb and this is really good as well.
Good portions, hot fresh food with constant coffee refill and the nicest ladies working there, you can't miss!
The toast is sweet and homemade 2🙂👍

The best biscuits and sausage gravy I've ever had, and I've had a LOT. The hash browns were perfect, not the hash whites that I usually get. Great place and good prices!

This is the sort of local treasure I always hope to find. It is on the camp ground, but you don't have to be a resident to eat there. Easy access for campers and motorhomes.
The hobo sandwich is worth the trip
