John and his office staff are wonderful! They are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable to be at the dentist. John recently fit me for SureSmile, and explained the entire process making it very easy to understand. Looking forward to my new smile thanks to John Athos! Great dentist and office.

Best dentist I have ever been to and I've been to quite a few here in IL & a few other states. Hands down John & his staff are number 1! All of the Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, personable, and go above & beyond for their patients. I live all the way north near Wrigley Field and travel about 50 mins bc they are simply the best! The office is always clean, and nicely decorated. I've never had to wait to be seen the appt time is the appt time, I arrive and have never had to wait bc they were "behind schedule" like so many other dentists have left me waiting. Dr John truly cares about his patients he takes the time to explain, discuss & answer any questions about procedures & treatment options. He made me feel comfortable & made me feel included in my treatment options. I have needed a lot of work and I can now smile confidently bc of John and his wonderful staff!! Thank you all so very much!!!

Dr. Athos goes above and beyond expectations. Great one-on-one consultation which involves discussion of problems and solutions. His team are a group of highly trained professionals who will make sure their patients are informed and comfortable. Offices are spotless as well. So glad we found him, you will be too! Thanks John!

My family and I travel an hour to continue going to Dr. Athos and it is worth every minute. The entire staff is wonderful. The office staff are always smiling and happy to help, always willing to schedule around your schedule the best they can, and just really great at their jobs. The hygienists are thorough and as painless and possible. Dr. Athos is hands down the very best. He’s honest, painless, and though I never thought it possible, has a way of making you happy to go to the dentist.

Well, Dr. Athos is the best. He makes sure I am comfortable before he starts working on me because I have had anxiety all my life sitting in a dentist chair. The staff is compassionate and wonderful, and gets me prepared as soon as I walk into the office. Dr Athos is just the best. Has been my dentist for over 20 years and he doesn’t treat us as patients. He treats us as family. Last dental emergency I had he went above and beyond to accommodate me. He makes everything easy and painless. His entire staff is equally amazing!! A great dentist who has surrounded himself with a great team!! Top notch and class act all the way around!!

This place is awesome! When my dentist retired, I was nervous about going to another place. I had been with my dentist for at least 25 years! However, to my surprise, change was a good thing! The office staff is very welcoming. My hygienist, Vanessa, is so thorough and Dr. ATHOS is a dentist who cares! He spends quality time explaining procedures and he seems to want the best for his patients!!!’

I had come in with a an enormous amount of pain with my teeth. I think every tooth in my mouth hurt.
Dr. Athos has been taking care of one issue at a time.
I couldn’t of picked a better dentist. He was kind, gentle and put at me at ease. He talked me through everything. He even followed up with me after each procedure!!!! To top it off the office staff was amazing. My dental assistant was so good with me. She made me feel comfortable and she truly cared.

Dr Athos is basically the most amazing and best dentist that has ever dentisted. I know that sounds ridiculous but I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is.

I was genetically gifted with the worst teeth and I have been in more dentist chairs than I can even remember. He is by far the best of all of them. He always makes me feel comfortable about everything that I need and I always leave feeling positive and better off then when I left.

He has the most amazing staff of friendly people as well which just makes the biggest difference to other offices I’ve been to. Very much makes you feel like family while receiving 5 star work!

I really love the new office there! Everything is so clean and nice. The office staff have all been excellent in dealing with my dental needs, compassionate, friendly, and extremely helpful. Dr. Athos is just as wonderful. He is very good with his patients and has very excellent knowledge and skills for all sorts of dental procedures. Dr.John Athos is a skilled denist who not only cares about teeth, but more importantly cares about his patients in every way. John and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome. He also is great with my children! My husband and his family have been going to him for decades. It was a wonderful experience at Athos Dental, though I did not expect anything less! The women at the front are so warm and welcoming, Molly was absolutely fantastic with my daughter… and of course Dr. Athos….I am so unbelievably thankful to have found such an honest, gentle and talented dentist who has created such a comfortable space for his patients!
