Lake Gogebic County Park

Visited during peak fall color season. Absolutely beautiful and a peaceful calm came over me as I walked the grounds. While RV camping is permitted and encouraged, I found myself visiting in my passenger vehicle. Lake Gogebic sets the scene for picturesque views anytime of year, while providing abundant recreational activities!

Husband & I took a fall trip, stopped at this beautiful park if we had a camper diffidently would be on our list.

Clean campground, clean restrooms and everyone was very friendly. The sites are close together so don't expect too much privacy.

Over the past two years I have been a traveling nomad across the United States. Being born and raised in the area, Lake Gogebic County Park has always held a special place in my heart. Good fishing, a place to go cliff jumping, and it does have an amazing dock for kids to swim by and jump off as well!

If you want a campsite with a view of the lake, this has it. No beach but kids can swim off the large dock at their own risk. There is a boat launch to the lake. I think it is pretty special!

Love camping here. We spend the whole summer here. My husband loves the fishing here also. Lots of nice people camping here and Kerry does a great job keeping it neat and clean.

All you need is there! Boat ramp, full facilities and nice sized sites. Very reasonably priced, well kept!

Terrific campground. Camp Manager very friendly. I hesitated about the campground based on prior review and dogs, however we found the Camp Manager to be awesome and no issues whatsoever.

This is my happy place. I camp here every summer. No showers and bathrooms could use updating but that's why we have bathrooms in our campers!

This is the UP (gods country!!). Love it, relax and soak up the slow (better) pace of "free, life of an American" Great campground, great fishing and friendly enjoyable people!!

Good camping sites. Big lake to fish.

Always peaceful here. The caretaker Carrie is always friendly and the rates are cheap. Enjoy being here!
