OldTimey, outstanding food, really friendly owners/staff, worth the drive. Reasonably priced. It's not exactly on the beaten path but if you are in the area bring your appetite. Great general store with liquor and sundries. Loved the place.

Great service. Very Friendly. They had an issue with staffing and were only only to do cold sandwiches but figured out to still do pizza. Which was amazing as that's was our plan for dinner while camping. The Pizza was delicious 🍕 Thank you for everything Melbys☺

Good to see indoor seating is back although the outside picnic benches are still a nice option. As always, the food is home style, tasty and filling. We have been coming here for years and totally enjoy the experience.

A true, authentic country store (and awesome restaurant hiding within). Really a gem in a world full of franchise rhinestones. Check out the disco fries, the perfect way to refuel after a hard days bike / hike.

The whole staff always goes far beyond anyone else. They have kept our small communities safe and our needs well supplied not only with delicious food, staples, take out, delivered meals, caring ears and even much needed hugs! All with working on limited staffing, but total loving commitment to our area. Thank you, Melbys! We are so grateful for you and wish you all a happy, beyond well deserved, restorative spring break!

Our veggie pizzas were so overloaded with toppings they nearly broke the table! Easily one of the best pizzas i have EVER had!

Hands down the best burger I've had here in Maine. My family and I typically come here for breakfast, which is awesome. The portion sizes are huge and the quality is excellent. I would highly recommend this spot if your looking for a great burger or great food period!

This is hands done the best breakfast in our area.. we absolutely love Penny and Wayne does a fabulous job cooking up some hefty meals.. thankful for this place since they feed my husband all the time lol...

Very cute little place. They most anything you might need in a pinch and they are well known enough to have their own merch. The cafe makes good food at decent portions. I did order a burger with no relish then watched them put relish on it but the burger was so good I'm giving this place 5 stars anyway.

Delicious home cooking! The bacon was better than what I find at the grocery store and my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. The eggs are XL with deep yellow/orange yolks like farm fresh. Great value too with coffee included in the price... it's like Paul and Kay are still there. Great job!

Located in the middle of nowhere is one of the best diners I've ever been to. The food is plentiful and delicious. I keep coming back to camp in the area just so I can stop by here. Looking forward to taking on the pancake stack challenge next time.

Super friendly staff. Creaky floors and nice natural light through the windows. Homemade breads, good coffee, and rib eye steaks on display. Nice spot for breakfast on old diner stools as the bar.

My AirBnB host strongly recommended that I eat here, and so i did. Boy, what a good choice that was. I ended up eating there twice. The food is in big portions, the staff are really friendly. Awesome place. I will go out of my way to come here again.

Fantastic food, great service, friendly people. Although sometimes a Karen will wander through and give a 1 star review, but don't worry, she's just mad because she's as ugly on the inside as her Subaru is on the outside.

Stopped in Melby’s for the first time as we are new to the area. Food was great and the woman who helped me was a ray of sunshine. Seriously sweet person who made my day better. Will definitely come again!!

Great place for breakfast and lunch , owners Wayne and Tracy are very friendly as well as their staff. We are always greeted every summah and will continue to support our home town general store. Huge portions of food, many different flavors of ice cream too for the kids!

Upon her request, I took my mom here on Mother's Day this year. The service was fast. I had the bison burger, and it was everything you could ask for. Everyone enjoyed their food, and we left very satisfied.

A quaint and well-stocked community market with great homemade, fresh, hot food options as well. The pizzas are tasty, and the beer selection is plentiful.

If you don't leave full, well you must be not feeling well. The food is great, the portions are large and it's hard to finish your meal. Service with a smile, will be going back to enjoy another meal m
