Goose Creek Trail Camp

The colors were absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for larger trailers and the horses had plenty of room as well. The restrooms were very clean in comparison to others we've seen at the various parks. It was quite quiet with very little traffic. Went to a nearby coffee bakery shop that had some of the best coffee I've had not made by myself.

We have been going here for 30 years. Love this place.

Great horse camp with miles of loop trails and some along the upper Manistee River.

My dad lived down the road from this wonderful campgrounds. We would take our canoe down there and travel the Manistee River. I loved it there. Miss it so much 🥰

Wonderful facilities. Rustic camping with some group sites as well. Water pump access, public restrooms (no running water), a dumpster for refuse, and multiple access sites to the upper Manistee River. A beautiful stretch with lots of shallow sandy areas throughout (no sandy islands though). The water was chilly but you get used to it. Lots of different sites in the area to put in or out take out depending on how long you want to be on the river.

This is a great place to camp. There aren't showers and the pit toilets often have flies and mosquitoes hanging around. Because of that it seems less crowded than other places. Fishing near the camp is not very good compared to other access points and rivers nearby in my experience. The camp is quiet and beautiful with lots of trees. I'm not a horse person myself, but they make great camp neighbors.

Nice clean horse camp. The new roads are great and did away with a lot of the sand. We enjoyed our stay.
