We love hiking at this park and playing at the playground! It's nice having bathrooms and the hiking trails are absolutely beautiful!

This park has so much to offer! There was a ball field, tennis courts, a playground, and tons of open space. There was also a large pavilion right next to the playground, with public restrooms nearby that are open during warmer months. There is a large Trail Loop accessible from many different streets. Biking is allowed, pets are allowed. I stumbled upon this park by happenstance and I'm so happy I did. I'm not from here, but have moved here recently and had lots of parks back home that I miss dearly. Rogue River Park fills that void!

Good trails, the main loop goes along the river. The far side of the loop is overgrown but if you go between the fish hatchery ponds instead of around both you'll be fine.

Love the large park size and the trails and small body of water to the side. Don't know I'd it would count as a lake.

The playground is great, the tennis courts always seem to be in good condition, and the gazebo is lovely. I got married in this park 8 years ago and played in it as a child.
It connects to trails that lead to the White Pine Trail and some lovely ponds.
There are some fun Geocaches in the park too.

Nice place to walk the dog. Plenty of trails and woods. Trail goes along the Rouge River and by the DNR walleye and minnow ponds. Connects to the White Pine trail that goes to Rockford or the ballpark. Ice-cream place nearby just off White Pine trail.

Nice clean, quiet park. The playground, bathrooms and picnic area are well maintained. It backs up to the white pines trail and DNR nature area, and overlooks several ponds. Great for walking, and playing!

This gem is a lovely, quiet place with a wide variety of features and terrain. There's pine groves, meadows, lakes, reservoirs, trails, ponds, wetlands, deciduous forests, rolling hills, and a path along the Rogue River. Look for lots of birds, fish, amphibians, and woodland creatures. It's Pure Michigan. ❤

I took a leisurely walk from Lowell ,walked the path toward the river crossed over the new walking bridge across the river then walked through the park. It was so very nice, a wonderful walk, kind of long if you don't do a lot of walking, but I highly recommend it.
