Awesome place for some quick trail walking. There's some decent elevation towards the back of the yellow loop. Even when it's busy, there's still plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the place. I see a lot of people walking their dogs here, but I use it mostly for walking/relaxing.

If you’re looking for a place to go for a walk, this is a beautifully awesome place to do so. It is dog friendly too!!! Just be sure to leash & clean up after your pup. The outer perimeter is 0.9 miles. There are some decent hills so be prepared 😂

Me and my family went to this park last Sunday and I liked it. I do admit it was bit shorter than expected but walking around and seeing everything this park had to offer made it worth it. I especially liked the sandy hill overlook and some of the wooded trails did look nice. I recommend this park to anyone looking for a place to hike

First time using the trails. We were a group of five adults and five children and we had two dogs with us. It was busy but it's large enough so you don't feel crowded. Lots of up and down hills. The kids really enjoyed running down the sand dune. They found a little hut that someone had built around a tree. This is a really nice trail. Would love to go back again

BEWARE, I came across what I believe to be an Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake right on a main trail near the parking lot today. They are the only venomous snake in MI. I saw a lot of dogs on the trails today so beware! Great park, great trails!

This is a beautiful place to walk in the forest, and there is a hike up the sand dune towards the middle of the trail. The advanced trail is not very advanced, it is just a slightly longer walk with some uphill and downhills, still very pleasant. Love this place, it’s very peaceful and quiet. Right by Robinette’s!

I found this trail pretty fun to wander around in. It's very easy to unintentionally meander off the main trail, if it's your first time or if you decide to wear sunglasses like I shouldn’t have because they have markers around that are hard to see with sunglasses. but I think that's what makes some of this fun. Dogs are allowed but leashed, of course, trails are kept clean and unobstructed and there's some pretty good steep areas if you are wanting to get your sweat on. And as for the main trail for the most part there's plenty of room for everyone!

Excellent rural escape close to an urban environment. The park is just remote enough to provide an immersive natural experience while still being close to all the modern comforts just down the road. The longest trail is 1.5 km (0.9 mi), and it's an easy hike for most people. The trails are sand by the central dune, but the "yellow" trail is packed dirt, and goes around the dune. Port-a-potty is available off the parking lot, if needed. The park is open from sun up to sun down, and is open year-round. In the winter, the hiking trails are used for cross-country skiing.

Good trails for running, hiking, tubing, and even the occasional back country ski/snowboard

Nice trails, well groomed, yet rustic. A nice little respite from local commotion. Trails were not challenging, but were very enjoyable to walk (or run on). Trail is well marked and the different routes are easy to follow and clearly marked on the map and on the route itself. Very peaceful and relaxing to enjoy some quiet time in a nature setting.

Nice park to go for a walk. All kinds of varying levels of difficulty. Smooth and easy or get a work out. Great view. Dirt trails. No concrete.

We have been here multiple times as a place to take family photos and have gotten really wonderful results. It's a great place to walk your dog as well. Lots of hills, definitely be ready to walk or run some inclines if you are going for exercise.

We visited the first time for our engagement photo session. It's a really busy spot for photographers, so be mindful of that when you go. Depending on how busy Robinette's is, you might have trouble finding a parking spot. The photographers we ran into during our session were really polite, though. They're definitely aware of how nice the site is. The park is stunning! The middle open area is really fun to stand in and look at all the fall colors. The trails are well-maintained, and the signs are informative. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Definitely good to know as we'll be back. :D

I'm going back! This park was awesome to walk through. The sand gave it a feel like a beach. Many of the trees are neat and in a row making for a pleasant sight. I can't wait to see it in winter.

We've found this little hidden gem in Kent County. Don't let it's small size fool you. There are several well marked trails, the outside perimeter being just under 2 miles however that 2 miles is packed with natural diversity. Woods, hills, descents, open areas, water, exposed root climbs, and even a small sand dune. We walk the perimeter and then reverse directions for another 2 miles. Changing direction adds to our miles and looks Luke a different trail. We tried out our ice cleats and trek poles (with ice tips) in preparation for the Ice Festival in Munising next week.

Very pretty trail, but quite a lot of foot traffic. Don’t wear sandals as it is super sandy!

We had our engagement pictures here and it was absolutely perfect. It's a great setting for any type of pictures, when we arrived there was a wedding party getting pictures and a group doing family pictures.
