If you want a fair price and excellent customer service DO NOT go to this insurance agency. The pricing was the worst in Muskegon after I received quotes from 5 other agencies, for the same exact service. Tana was very cold and unhelpful when I came into the office in person, lacking customer service skills. Although Alistair is supposed to be the head of this agency he is never available in the office and when he is he treats customers unfairly. There are multiple other insurance agencies in Muskegon that are far more educated on transparency, customer service, and the right way to conduct a business.

Moved to my own policy from my parents, 26 years old with a new model car was quoted 200 a month. Bit the bullet said well this is the price of moving on to being independent one month later my fiancee bought a new volvo *one of the safest vehicles in the world* was quoted over 250 dollars a month. Almost 500 dollars a month in car insurance and 200 a year renters policy. Switched to progressive with better liability coverage a deductible of 100 dollars * 900 less than farm bureau * Renters insurance went down by half and now I get free towing and car rental. Stop yourself getting scammed from this terrible company and make the switch.

I’ve had Farm bureau as my homeowners insurance provider since 2014. I have made multiple attempts to contact my agent (Alistair) over the past year with no luck. I always get his secretary and I never get a return phone call. But you better believe When the shingles on my unattached garage were nearing the end of their life, I got a letter stating that I had 2 months to replace them or they would terminate my policy. My policy was escrowed into my mortgage so I paid annually, over $1500 per year! I am low risk with no claims at all in the past 5+years. I shopped around and found equal or BETTER coverage for HALF of what Farm Bureau was charging me. Do your homework and shop around.
