Veterans Park

We go to Wood City music festival every year and love this place!

This place is not only beautiful, it's also a peaceful place to go to. Hang out, walk around, have a picnic outside, or just to eat lunch in your break.

Got to enjoy Wood City Worship Festival at Veteran's Memorial Park. It's a great community venue area, and we are blessed to be able to use the space and share it with others.

Veterans Park is perfect if you just want to spot to get out and run around. They have a nice picnic area that is kept really clean. So if you're looking to have a picnic with you and your family awesome place if you're looking to just get out on your lunch break and you live close to the area great place as well. I love that veterans Park hosts so many holiday events. It seems like for every major holiday they have an event. They don't have any play equipment for small kids so you may want to bring some type of outside toys like a frisbee a baseball and it's or something like that. Overall I would highly recommend stopping by stepping out of your car and getting some fresh air.

Very calm and peaceful place. Well made Veterans Park. They also have some old military vehicles and memorabilia. When I was there last, I was working a food truck and it was Seniors Day In Cloquet. It was very memorable. They do many events in this park which is pretty cool.

It's not a playground park but it is a beautiful place to go for a walk or to bring a picnic to. They have a pavilion with 7 or 8 picnic tables. Great spot for a birthday party or other gathering. I've even seen weddings held there. They also have the carnival there when it comes to town sometimes and do movies in the park there in the summer.

My daughter and I love this park! There's so much room for the kiddos to play, you can relax, or walk across the tracks to have fun at the brand new playground with a beautiful view of the St. Louis River. Not to mention the beautifully done Veteran's Memorial wall and pathway.

This park has transformed over the course of my life from just a field to a wonderful place that honors our military and also hosts great events. It's great for everything from picnics, memorials, concerts, and get-togethers to just having a walk. One of the best parks in town!

Beautiful park with shaded areas to sit at, as well as benches a long some walking paths. Also a wonderful memorial to our troops and past service members who lost their lives! Will continue to visit.

Cloquet has done a wonderful job with their public spaces and parks. Veterans park is a beautiful location in summer and in winter. Take a nice walk around and see the memorials and rest on the nice benches or plan a family gathering at the park. This is a relatively new park, finished a few years ago.

Veterans Park is a beautiful venue in the heart of Cloquet. It's used for city wide events such as Independence Day and the music festival, but is still a lovely place to visit when there's nothing going on.
It was recently revitalized not too long ago with the addition of the memorial wall and several new walkways.

Met a couple here to look at a puppy was a good place to do that because it's very neutral. The puppy loved exploring around the tank. We are getting that puppy yay overall great experience!!

It's a very open park. No playground but lots of space to play. A very large memorial for veterans on a mural right next to a picnic shelter is in the park. The picnic shelter had a bunch of easily accessible outlets that are great for birthday parties, family reunions and even Pokemon Go players who need some extra battery power. Lots of pokestops too. The only okay in Cloquet worth going to for community day.

There is a parking lot right next to the picnic shelter and lots of new sidewalks around the park so the entire thing is very handicap accessible. Two porta-potties directly off the parking lot are there all-year-around.

Beautiful park!! I love taking my dog there for walks, and he loves it! Very peaceful and very well put together. A wonderful memorial to veterans as well!

Beautiful laser etched memorial to honor our veterans. Nice gazebo for a picnic also. Take a walk over to the Frank Lloyd Wright gas station afterwards.

Veteran's Park is home to many activities. It sits between Cloquet Ave and Industry Ave. A few years ago a WW2 memorial will was erected... depicting American forces battling the war. In the summer the park hosts Fourth Fest...which includes vendors, rides, a dusk-time movie, and fireworks viewing.

Well taken care of, nice grassy areas to take kids to play catch. Educational when you have moment and little ones notice the tank etc.

Beautiful when the sun is up and is not windy 🌞🌬 great to take dog's for a walk

The bands were amazing and the park is very well groomed
