Hi School Hardware

I go here all the time they are all so helpful and nice but today I went to get some keys made. Two keys I had been trying to make copies of and was told by a few different places they couldn’t do it. Randy was able to make the copies after a few tries. Really appreciated him trying to get them right. He is the key wizard! Thank you :)

Love this store because it's in my neighborhood and has been there forever. Glad to see after all these years they are still there.

Technicly it is ACE hardware inside..( use my rewards card ) Friendly knowledgeable staff always willing to assist you with question regarding tools or plant foods/ parts of pipe or adapters. Small store but packed full and usually a great place to pick up what is needed for my place .🙂 From garden tape to tie back flowers to pipe adapters and tools for all sorts of projects in the home and garden!

The love and generosity the owner displayed deserves praise. I came in to ask for some help with supplies during one of our graffiti removal projects in Vancouver and the owner went above and beyond to support our high school youth. Thank you from all of Flash Love.

Went in with a very old bathroom door mechanism/lock that I needed to replace. I didn’t think they’d have one, but gave it a shot. I was greeted the minute I walked in the door by a nice guy named Scott. They didn’t have anything remotely close, but Scott took apart the piece I brought in, replaced the spring and restored it to working order. You don’t get service like this at big box stores! I should have had him follow me home and help with reinstallation. Can’t get the old glass knobs to spin it the right way, but that’s a task for another day. Thank you for your time and patience, Scott.

Other than the big box stores, this place has what you need. However unlike others this place has awesome customer service which you do not get at the big name box stores.

It is no longer called hi school pharmacy and hardware, it’s now Ace Hardware

I almost always try looking here first before heading to the big box stores because they have staff who provide ACTUAL customer service. They usually greet you and offer you help finding things, and will offer advice on how to do stuff if you're a bit inexperienced. If unfamiliar with this small store you'll be surprised at the wide variety and breadth of items they have, plus you can always order stuff online and have it delivered to the store. As a bonus there's parking nearby, and it only takes 10 seconds to get from one end of the store to the other instead of the usual 10 minutes.

Staff is super helpful and kind. They have a wide array of knowledge and have saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Always enjoy going in to look at the plants, or odd end things. But more specifically today the cashier, I believe her name is Sydney, was very helpful and kind when helping me with my transaction! Very sweet girl!

Love the employees. They've got great humor and I end up spending more time there than needed because it's a great environment to be in

They had what home Depot and Lowes did not, so I've been doing all my hardware and diy / home improvement purchases with ace hardware

I've been in this store several times for some odd piece of hardware. They always have what I need, and the customer assistance is great. They have lots of unusual stuff too. Sometimes it's just fun to go in and look!

Darrell was extremely helpful! His knowledge of the store was quite frankly, uncanny. I recently took on homemade soap making, and thought I was in over my head, but Darrell quickly laid my doubts to rest. He helped me find, not only what I came in for, but also many items that I didn't realize I needed. Thanks Darrell!

This ACE is the best! I initially went in to buy a gas grill that they had in stock online and nobody else in the Portland metro was really carrying. They had the grill in stock, gave me a great deal on it, and helped me load it into my truck. I really appreciate how helpful and friendly everyone was. This is my new go-to hardware store!

It's a interesting hardware store it's one of my child hood places that dad would go to time to time and mom and auntie would have some business also somewere in side . And yes just today I followed my father's foot steps into the doors to get a saw file. The lady pointed there and there and out the door I went with file in hand .thanks main street.hard wear.
