I've driven past this place hundreds of times. We were honestly about to go to H Mart down the street instead, but we decided to turn in and give it a try.
For a saturday afternoon it was very empty. Upon entering into the market, everything is placed well, and very clean. There were a lot of sample stands, every lady tending to it, was very friendly. We bought some fresh fluke from the seafood, had it fileted. Which we cooked immediately when we got home, it was very fresh, and good quality. We got other fish and shellfish from the seafood dept, so far so good. Everything looked like it was cleaned well and of good quality. The prices were also very reasonable.
We bought a bunch of meats as well, mainly due to that the prices were very good. We also cooked some marinated bulgogi at home, it was very good.
My son wanted a snack, so we bought some freshly made taiyaki from the kiosk near the entrance. It was very reasonably priced, and very good. They had a OREO flavored which was surprisingly good. Their red bean filling is also very good.
We went in with little to no expectations, and we were pleased with H&Y. The employees are friendly, the store is clean, it has everything that H Mart has. We will add this market into the rotation of our marketplaces.

Every last day of the month and first day of the month, H & Y has a 2 for 1 sale on most items. BUT they raise the prices a bit so it's not really s 50% discount. More about 30%-40% but it's still a good way to stock up on pantry essentials like oils, rice, sauces,..etc

Edit: Prices have gone up recently so the discount is less but you can find deals if you comparison shop against non 2-for-1 days.

I love this grocery store! They got a fresh and great produces and other Korean groceries. Their staff are very friendly and kind here which makes me keep coming back. They also have a side cafeteria that serve quality Korean home style meal/soup/side dish for $5. You can't beat it! :)

Update : price went up to $7 but still a good deal considering the inflation.

I always have a good experience of shopping in this store. It's well organized with variety fresh products I want to buy. Price is affordable considering my travel time. Hand made dishes are tasty with a good price offer. It's better grocery than H mart nearby. I keep going for shopping every other weeks.

This place is not easy to spot from the road. However I do recommend you look this place up. Stagg is super friendly, prices are awesome, and variety is undeniably amazing. Highly recommended

This supermarket has all I need for my Asian food groceries. Less crowded than H-Mart so it's a plus! All the specialty shops have great food and products. The health and wellness shop even has a place to lie down and relax your body in a portable dry sauna bed.

Great store. Produce is very fresh. Prices are good. And they always have food freshly prepared for you to try. This is very helpful especially when you are not familiar with some of the Korean specialties.

I've always had pleasant shopping experiences every time we've shopped here. Great food and a wide selection with super friendly staff. Very clean and bright, able to find anything needed.

Variety of Korean products and lots of sale events. Fresh vegetables, fruits and traditional Korean snacks. It's fun to look around and have some sample foods. Very nice and kind staffs. Food court is great, many korean dishes you can buy or eat in the store with good price. Foods are Delicious! Totally recommend the HanYang in Ridge field, NJ.

I really loved this place. Phenomenal selection of Korean staples and many rarities. Home goods. Fresh tofu. Sample table. Great mushrooms (enokis - yay!) and a few killer price steals. More kimchi than you could lug in a pickup truck. Lots of random fun stuff, plus a sushi (odd) counter that looked good.

BTW it's impossible to see from the street - you gotta pull onto the access road and then turn left into the parking lot. If you walk (like me) you're more likely to find it.

This is mostly, one of Koreans favorite foods special market. Clean, well organized display so many goods ,variety fresh produce, many imported Korea food products ,cosmetic etc....lunch food prices are competitive .

It has various selection of Korean and Asian food with great price.
Huge fish department and fresh tofu made everyday.

You can find fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. The staffs are kind. I recommend this food mart if you like Korean food.

Smaller but great service, better price than other bigger Korean supermarket chain. I personally prefer to shop here.

Those ladies ask customers to try out some sample food are all very kind and helpful. They make my shopping happy at Hanyang food mart

Their fresh vegetable choices have gotten better. My brother likes their snack sale prices.

Very clean and nicely set up...staff is friendly and food selection is great for the Korean-American...

They sell fresh made tofu next to the fish section. It is delicious.
