Best pizza in the area by far. Custom recipe and very friendly service. Highly recommend to eat some pizza here.

Great food with great prices. You really can’t go wrong with whatever you order here. My personal favorites are the grandma pie and regular with cherry peppers and sausage 👍🏻

First time here and the pan cheese pie was delicious, fresh and ready when they told me it would be.

Finally, an actual good slice of pizza in South Amboy! The vodka chicken Parm is great, the grandma Sicilian was amazing. The sauce is appropriately tangy (not sickly sweet like other places in town). I can't believe it took me this long to find this spot, but I'm glad I have.

It amazes me how hard it is to find a pizzeria that actually listens to your "well done" request. J&S has yet to fail us and it's definitely why we have stopped going to other local spots who repeatedly sent us floppy (to us) pies. Even when we order for delivery, the pizza still arrives perfectly crisp. These guys sure know how to make a well done pie! Super consistent!

The pizza is always great. The best pizza in the area. Seriously have no complaints. I have tried to find a good pizzeria around here for a while and a friend recommended this place. I was impressed the first time just ordering a PLAIN PIE... every other kind I've tried has also been equally delicious. This will always be my go to place!

For my first visit Had a large plan n large pepperoni n order or wings. the plain was great nice flavored sauce good cheese. And slice is nice n firm (don't flop over) and nice crust .
The peperoni was good quality and did not make pie greasey or oily. The wings were excellent nice size good sauce.
Tried it first a week ago when on Friday for repeat. And it all was exactly the same great pie.

It's our 1st visit to NJ from Houston, TX, and we wanted some great pizza. We found J&S from the Google reviews and were NOT disappointed! We tried the chicken Buffalo pizza, vodka sauce pizza, and the upside down pizza. I couldn't choose a favorite, they were all fabulous! Very sweet people running the place too. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!

Hidden gem, got the grandma pie to go and didn't disappoint. Great flavor, perfect garlic kick and crust with actual flavor. Would pick over the other big name places in town

I grew up here and visit family. I always make a point in stopping here. Just a plain slice or two. That's the acid test of any pizzeria. Don't need Buffalo Chicken, or Cheese Steak pies. J&S reminds me of the time that S. Amboy used to have pretty good pizzerias (like the Hillcrest, Gay 90's, etc). Love their pie and I live down in the Asbury Park/Long Branch area where great pizzerias are all around me. Next time in, I'll try a Grandma's. But I have to tell ya, that nothing beats a fresh pie out of their oven.

I just moved to jersey from Brooklyn so I’m very picky about pizza but I have to say, the pepperoni slice I ordered from here was delicious! I was more than pleasantly surprised! My son also really liked his plain slice and he’s quite the picky eater. Will be going back!

A nice family owns and operates. The Grandma Sicilian is the best I’ve ever had. The garlic knots are amazing. Good old fashioned NYC style taste.All in all this is an excellent pizzeria with excellent food and fair prices.

Best pizza i i have ever had! The Chicken Parm pizza is so good.. the VODKA sauce is amazing, seriously i have tried many other VODKA sauces and this always stays on top.. been eating here for almost 2 years never failed to disappoint... Thanks for opening a REAL pizzeria around here!

It’s been so long since a pizzeria got everything right for us. The pizza was ready on time and was hot and delicious. We also got a cheesesteak which came out great along with a side of fries. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Tried a slice of plain cheese and thick crust with bbq chicken. Plain slice was on point. Chrispy crust, great sauce. Want to get full pie next time just to have some for later. Thick crust bbq chicken slice was delicious. One word of caution. That one slice of bbq chicken was a meal in itself. Seriously, I'm 230 and sliced filled me up. Highly recommend.

Great people run this place, as soon as you walk in you feel like you know Frank for 30 years. Pizza was excellent, fresh, very good sauce, large assortment and variety to choose from. Sicilian was off the charts. Very good stop.

First time at J&S. Ordered a white pizza with sauteed spinach. Delicious... loaded...crust was nice and light brown not burnt. I'm very particular about my pizza and this did not disappoint!!
