Kamayan Grill

Was happy to find a Filipino spot that had a variety of dishes to choose from.
The location is directly across from the hospital and has great parking. Upon entering the restaurant/market you are blitzed with all kinds of Filipino snacks and favorites which is so exciting to see. They have a multitude of different kinds of native brands and so on that you want to try everything.
The food station is towards the rear of the establishment and is a bit in a crowded space but they are working with the space they have. The food is like buffet style and you choose from the options they have.
Being that I am clearly not Filipino and probably made it quite obvious by saying it was my first time visiting their establishment…. It would have been nice to get a bit more enthusiasm from the server when asking what each dish was. Once she warmed up after I broke the ice with a joke she explained what some of the dishes were.
We ordered a variety of dishes because we couldn’t decide on one thing.
Everything was tasty, seasoned well and fresh. The meat was tender and juicy and not dry at all.
I would definitely go back and try more things but maybe this time be prepared in terms of knowing a bit more about Filipino food so I know what to get.

The service here is great! I am new to Filipino food and the people here were kind and patient with me. They even made sample some foods that I wasn’t familiar with. Honestly one of my best food experiences. If you haven’t tried Filipino food before this is the place to try it and fall in love with it

This establishment is both a restaurant with dine-in tables with a fairly large selection of cooked Filipino foods that people can choose to eat or take out. It's also a store where popular Filipino products, such as canned goods and packaged food items, baked goods, frozen foods, and snacks, are sold at retail. I believe they also offer catering for foods served in medium to large sized trays. The service is fast, friendly, and courteous. The prices are fair, and the eatery attracts loyal customers from the hospital and other medical facilities located nearby.

Bursting with so many different flavor’s… chicken adobo is L.I.T, got to taste it and it was soo good. The chicken teriyaki stick was good as well with the noodles…Shout out to the lovely lady that helped me, she was very kind and sweet. She has suck a beautiful aura and smile !!! I’ll be back really soon 🥰

I have never been to the Philippines but this sure seemed authentic. The depth of flavor was mind boggling. I had the Calder era chicken and the green olives gave it that nice salty flavor. I also had the pan sit rice noodles. Of course I had to shop a bit before leaving. I will be here again!

Decided to check out this restaurant and this is my first time having Filippino food. I’m so happy I did! Everything tasted home made and delicious. The portions were generous and overall reasonably priced. I had the the combo with a chicken skewer, pork adobo, and garlic rice. Mmh, I just finished it and had to leave a review. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been eating specials here, mainly the curry chicken,goat, bbq chicken and stew chicken with rice. Amazing flavors, friendly owners and warm customers. This little business is supported for its intense variety on its menu. Will go here whenever I visit Neptune City again.

I had a great time at this restaurant! The facility has a good selection of standard Filipino fare, from snacks and condiments to ingredients and beverages, and has a cozy dining area with a hot bar. They have a rotating menu of Filipino comfort food, with favorites such as the chicken skewers.

The chicken skewers I had here are really, really good. Perfect balance of smokey, savory, and sweet. The caramelized sugar in the marinade/sauce adds great depth to the dish! In addition, the chunks of chicken are BIG. I've had some great skewers in the tristate area but they all tend to be really small. The chunks of grilled chicken on these skewers are definitely on the heftier side, and I love it.

The staff and owners of the Kamayan Grill are very friendly. I had a lot of questions about the different dishes and beverages offered at the place and they were more than happy to tell me what everything was. It's great to feel so welcomed!

I am really happy to have found this place. I'm excited to stop by again!

Great Food, Great People, Great Service. I've been 3x now and each experience has been better. Most recent I dined in they have 3 tables that seat 6 or 8 I can't recall. We got the lunch special which is 2 entree w/ side of rice I substituted my rice with Chow Mein or as I was educated to call it Pancit or Pancet. The special had the food and soda for $10.XX +tax

This place is so wonderful. I had it once; ended up eating there the next two days straight. The service is amazing also.

Quick story: I came after closing time... I didn’t know the hours. The lady let me in, made me a delicious plate to go. With a warm smile! Great food, wonderful people. Full flavor. REAL FOOD IS RARE. This place is a gem!

I've been coming here for years and this place never seems to disappoint. The food is great. It's made fresh daily and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Remember: Since the food is made fresh daily, they tend to run out of items as they get towards closing time. However, there are a wide variety of items available.

A small, great place in New Jersey if you're looking for authentic Filipino food outside of the Philippines. Plus the staff are friendly and helpful. They also carry groceries from the Philippines as well!

I love this place. My family and I come every Sunday not only is it delicious food the price is outstanding for what you get. Plus the staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. I tell everyone I know about this place.
