Chef Joe's Catering

Found this little area up by where we were staying and decided to give it a shot after seeing the oysters on menu. Did not disappoint whatsoever. Their food is all fantastic. Had the half shell oysters for app then we got the steak with stuffed shrimp and ended with the bread pudding. Also had the margaritas and the old man fashion which came out smoked inside a glass dome. Food, staff, and the atmosphere was the perfect trio to make you feel like your having the best night out. They also had music which was great because it went with the mood of the restaurant and wasn't too loud. Just perfect. Great 9.4/10 any day of the week.

Fantastic food....Oysters, NY Sirloin w/Shrimp delicious...Calamari fresh and crispy.Have now eaten here 3 times and not had a bad experience. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Dessert of Brown Butter cake was warm and perfect as was our latest Banana Foster Crepes.

Chef Joe's was the perfect vendor for our White Mountain wedding! Their food was amazing - so many compliments! - and their service was great. I love the family-feel of this company, doesn't feel like one of those vendors that just pump out weddings. We used Chef Joe's for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Mora kept close communication throughout the process and was happy to make quotes for any/all ideas that I had.

Our rehearsal dinner was a BBQ buffet and everyone loved it! The wedding had plenty of plated options for everyone as well as accommodations for necessary dietary restrictions. We even added a few desserts through Chef Joe's last minute in addition to our cake and they were perfect!

There isn't an "official" tasting with them, however we got a complimentary meal (2 apps, 2 dinners, desert) at their restaurant and we ended up making it into a fun weekend away! Overall, delicious high quality food. Would recommend to anyone!!

Don't miss Chef Joe's. Lovely dining room with full bar. But it's the food that's off the hook - New England Local. We had the Oysters Rockefeller (from Maine) as a appetizer. They were creamy and juicy. Entrees were the braised Goat Neck and roasted half Duck. Exceptional. We're definately going back!

Had the pleasure to dine there yesterday, reservation is recommended!!! Very cozy decors, service and staff was super friendly. Good crowd. Old Fashioned on point... The food was Grrreeaaaatttttttt. We definitely had a great time dining there and enjoyed our meal. Looking forward to our next visit.

A very enjoyable evening; we did a sit down 6 course dinner with Nancy at the Bray Hill House and everything was excellent. We had two entrees, beef medallions and the roast duck with a cherry marinade, it was delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend them. One entree would have been plenty so we had left overs that did not go to waste. The staff was very helpful in boxing up leftover for us. That was something they didn't have to do.

This place has it all going on. Excellent crafted cocktails, great beer selection, and the loveliest food we have ever found in the North Country. We are grateful to have you here 🥰

I wish I could give 10 stars for how amazing Chef Joe’s catering was for my daughter‘s wedding. With my daughter and son-in-law‘s desire for Mexican food, they could not have been more accommodating with fantastic ideas in what ended up being an amazing Mexican buffet! The compliments we received were amazing, people loved the wedding and absolutely loved the food. I could not recommend this company high enough, we were so pleased with their professionalism and service. It takes a lot of pressure off you when you are planning your own wedding when a company such as chef Joe’s catering takes care of such an important part of the special day. Thank you to all of you!!

Great, atmosphere and delicious food. Chef Joe is incredible although there’s no vegan options on the menu ask for a chefs choice vegan meal it is always amazing.

My new favorite restaurant. A true dining experience and amazing menu. The ravioli trio and mushroom ragu were exceptional.

Ate at the bistro upstairs, the food was incredible. Oysters on the half shell as a special were outstanding. My favorite, though, was a brown butter cake for dessert that may have ruined all other desserts for me. A must visit if you're in the area. Great draft and cocktail selection. Excellent service.

Amazing from start to finish. It's unfortunate that this joint is only open in the summer because it has the potential to be an all year round restaurant. I would recommend the brisket as well as the grilled lamb belly, the taste of both were unbelievable. The staff were all friendly, especially one named Mora? I believe who might be one of the managers. She made sure my order was correct and went out of her way for my boyfriend and I. I now know why everyone talks about Chef Joe's Catering because their BBQ restaurant shows the quality they have in their food as well as work ethic.

My boyfriend and I ate dinner there last night. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. The hostess sat us right next to the fireplace. In terms of food-The Thai curry mussels special was incredible. Both of us enjoyed our entrees as well. I got the goat cheese quesadilla appetizer (which was a fairly large portion) and he got the Prime Rib. I would definitely come back here next time we’re in the area!

Oysters, mussels, BBQ, wings, poppers, and dessert! A++! Joe came to our table and explained the menu. Jake provided excellent service. Beer selection was on par. Overall an awesome meal and all four of us felt this way. Don't miss out. Try out Chef Joe's!! You won't be dissappointed.

Hidden gem, easily the best meal in a 20 mile radius. I have been through about half the menu from apps, entrees and deserts and everything i have had there has been phenomenal. Real deal food in the mountains, you can’t beat it!

Chef Joe's catered our backyard wedding of 200 guests a few weeks ago and people are still talking about the food! We had SUCH a great experience working with Chef Joe and his wife Nancy. At the last minute, after our caterer fell through, they were able to do our event and exceeded all expectations. The food was beyond delicious, we had SO many different options on the buffet, the servers were professional and very helpful- everything was perfect!! Nancy was also very responsive by email, came to the house to do a walk through a few weeks before the wedding, and was all around super helpful and efficient. I had a great experience working with her. I can't recommend Chef Joe's Catering enough!!!

We love Joe's. The calamari is outstanding and we often enjoy as a couple as itting at t he bar for dinner.

We had dinner at Chef Joe's restaurant (only open during the winter, I think). It was excellent!
The appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, bacon-wrapped figs, pasta purses) were both creative and delicious. The dinners were equally excellent - we had ravioli, the vegetarian bean entrée, the burger, and various others -- all were outstanding. Highly recommended.
